Reviews can be both positive and negative. I have always enjoyed being a customer at Salon Salon. I love their hair products, along with jewelry and clothing. I recently had a negative experience. It was very expensive, and more than I normally pay. I budget for this expense. I get my hair done quarterly. This time I spent $190, which is more than I have spent in the past. Susan checked me out, I had to split the cost between 2 debit cards. I asked why it cost so much. She said the toner done was around $70. I wasn't aware that I was having a toner applied. I had my hair done on Tuesday night and called the salon on Wednesday to discuss my experience. I asked the receptionist to pull up the history on my account. I told her that I wanted to speak to Stacy, the owner. I was told neither Stacy, nor Kara, were working that day. The receptionist said that she would pass along the message to Stacy. She assured me that Stacy would call me back. Today is Saturday and I never heard from Stacy. I feel that my experience, or business, didn't matter to her. I thought she would call back to hear about my experience. I think it's important that businesses know the good and the bad. read more

Kara is a miracle worker. She took my dull, dry, long hair and gave me a brand new look. She takes the necessary time with every client to make certain that they have an incredible experience. I love my brand new look. I came in today just wanting a trim, and trusted her capable hands with a new look. I had 3 inches taken off. My hair is now healthy and vibrant. Thank you Kara for knowing what I need even before I do. I value you as a stylist and trust your expertise. I love that the Salon treats their clients more like friends. The usual lady was not available, had to get hair cut by another, Blake. Worst haircut I've ever had! Look like Jim Carrey in, "Me, Myself and Irene". She took her time to talk to me, show me pictures, and talk me through exactly what she was going to do and why. I have gone to Salon Salon several times and have always received great service. They have a knowledgeable staff who listen and ask questions to better gauge what type of look you are going for. It's also a great place to get an edgier look, as they are up on the latest trends. My hair is longer and fine, and it usually runs me about $160 for full color and highlights, to give you an idea on pricing. I highly recommend them. read more

They are more concerned about how many clients they can get done than they are about quality. Instead of mixing my color, Sam was helping another staff member with her client. There was no consideration for me or my time. I drove almost an hour on my day off. Double booking and rushing to get you done is the norm. I tip $10 every visit but that obviously doesn't mean anything. read more

Do not get your hair trimmed here. They will chop 6 inches off your hair without your permission. They don't let you see what they are are doing by keeping you as far from the mirror as possible and then it's too late. (Sherry or sherri) Worst ever, read more

I went to Salon Salon after receiving a recommendation from a good friend who just started going there and had a good experience. Mine, however, was awful. After bring rushed through a consultation where I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and explained , in the best detail she would allow, exactly what I wanted (long bob keeping my length in the front - she even pointed on my body to where the length would be to confirm ) and what I didn't want (layers) I got the complete opposite. I can't even understand how she was so far off from what we discussed. My hair is hacked up. Short pieces everywhere, about 3-4 inches shorter in the front than we talked about, gaps between pieces, and no where near like the picture I showed her. If you're looking for a stylist who is going to throw all of your requests out the window and do whatever they want instead this place is great. If you want someone who is going to error on the side of caution and really listen to how YOU want to look go somewhere else. read more
