I visited Impressive Brows for a consultation in March in preparation for a vacation in May as a result of a special they were offering and despite booking a consultation with a master artist, I was assigned to a student who clearly lacked the necessary skills and experience. My initial consultation was with a young woman while filling out the paperwork. I explained what I wanted and she seemed to get me. I explained that I grew up in the 80's where we had pencil thin eyebrows, and now that I was unable to grow enough on my own to fill-in, I was ready to see what could be done to my eyebrows to make them look better. I explained that I did not want a dark bold brow, but something soft and natural and a little bit on the thin side until I could get used to them. I told her I liked her eyebrows and shape and I wanted something very similar. Again, she seemed to understand. There was a young man coming in and out of the room; who by the way had a name tag on that said "Jen", he was ultimately going to work on my brows. I asked if he was a master artist he said "yes". I asked him how long he'd been doing brows, he said two years. I explained I was nervous and he reassured me that he would first draw them and then only once I was happy with the shape and agreed, he could do them. After the mapping and drawing they looked good. I was told ombré would be best, but do not like that look so we tried Combo Brows. I felt comfortable that the shape was good. Even though I was apprehensive, I said to go forward. He numbed me very well and proceeded. Here comes the bad part. When he finished my brows my left brow was drawn so far outside the line to the right that I immediately freaked out and said do whatever you have to do but remove the ink. He left the room and came back a few minutes later and said because it was so fresh he could remove it, but it was going to leave a red spot and would take a while to heal. At this point I did not care I just wanted it fixed. Then came time to pick out colors. I asked, who I thought was the expert what he recommended. He seemed unsure. I color my hair dark brown, but my eyebrows are black. I told them in the beginning of consult, that I didn't want them too dark as I am not used to seeing a fully filled in brow. I figured I could always add more color at touch up. He mixed several colors and to be honest, I literally didn't know if it was correct. They're supposed to be the experts. That's why we go to them, to help with these decisions. He said oh yeah this will look perfect. I figured he should know. Right? Wrong!!!! After the procedure I asked when I should come back for the follow up/ touch up, he said, "oh, if you don't think you need one, you don't have to". I thought it was mandatory! Upon returning home, I noticed uneven brush strokes, my brows were a bit off and there were what appeared to be ink splatters certain areas. My eyebrows were also splotchy and far too dark, they looked more Ombré than Combo. After the healing process, I let them know via text a I was unhappy and asked for a real master artist when I came in for my touch up. I arrived for my touch up and was met with a different man. He was not very friendly, did not really speak to me and didn't really seem to care about what I was saying. I voiced all of my concerns and he set to work with little to no communication. I really just needed a little tweaking and color correction, however he ended up making them uneven and worse. No solution to color correct either. I wasn't offered any solutions or compensation. I did not bother to contact again. I felt it would only be met with indifference and I certainly wasn't going to give them another opportunity to make them worse. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. I expected professional service from Impressive Brows but instead, I left with botched eyebrows and a lot of frustration. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality microblading services. I then went to another artist who totally messed them up by coloring way out of the lines... but that is another story! She did however tell me they were way too dark, even when my friends and family were trying to be nice and say they looked fine. MASTER SYLIST MY BEHIND! Just Awful! My eyebrows are now ruined thanks to their so called "MASTER STYLIST" Pranee. Last year I initially came to Carina, however I was informed today that she no longer works for their establishment in which so called "Master Stylist" Pranee, would be doing my eyebrow retouch. Horrible mistake! She had the audacity to try and convince me that my eyebrows were even after completely destroying the awesome work that Carina initially did. I'm like a blind person could see the indifference. If you want your eyebrows done correctly and professionally then I would advise you against coming this atrocious place. As soon as I came home, my son asked me what was wrong with my eyebrows. I'm mortified! Now I to pay for tattoo removal services. Goodness knows how much this will cost me to undo this mess. I just don't understand how on earth they have all these good reviews. This must all be Carina, because there's no way it could've came from anyone else in there. The Follow-Up Appointment Once again, my appointment was to be with a Pro, an abbreviation for Professional, for the Pro Ombre Brow Touch-up.  A Professional is supposed to be an expert in their craft.  This includes the energy he/she gives off when providing a service because a Professional knows their energy will affect the outcome of the service rendered.  My Ombre Brow service for a touchup was not performed because I could hear the frustration (huffing, exhaling) from the Pro, as I tried to explain, for a second time, what I wanted to be done for my Ombre Brow touchup.  I had just informed the student, the Professional's assistant, who had asked for the same information, and we had a lengthy discussion which included her drawing on one of my brows, just before she applied the numbing ointment.  A little frustrated myself, I made an effort in repeating what I had just informed the Pros assistant, the student, to the Pro, even asking if the student could come in and explain to him all that she and I discussed.  The Pro didn't utter one word, to the point I had to say "Hello?"  I don't know if he was listening to me or ignoring me, but he didn't say a word until I said "Hello" to get a response.  I said "Hello" because once again, as I mentioned in my first post, no one introduced themself at first encounter, nor did either wear a name tag.  Now, all he says is "Yes."  They better not dare say he doesn't speak English well because I heard him asking the client in the next room questions and having a detailed conversation about the service he rendered her.  Nevertheless, the student finally returns and sees the Pro preparing and asks him, and I paraphrase, if he knows what I want to be done?  I ask her to explain to him what she and I had determined.  The student even drew on the eyebrow, as she did earlier, which was most concerning to me.  She left and went back to the client he was servicing before me.  As I look in the mirror, I show and ask him to draw a little line on the opposite eyebrow to give a more symmetrical look.  He does and returns to prepping.  I look at it in the mirror and ask him to do a little more.  He sighs.  That did it for me.  The nonverbal communication, then the sighing/huffing/grunting, whatever adjective to describe the frustration, led to me not going through with the Touch-up.  This is my face and I refuse to allow someone who gives off negative energy, to perform any service, permanent/semi-permanent, to my face.  My spirit picked up on the Pros negative energy and his negativity will affect his work...on my face.  I don't know if he, the Pro, was overworked, tired, or frustrated because he was behind schedule.  Nevertheless, the energy has to remain positive and stellar in a Medical Spa, Cosmetic, Aesthetician business.  This is to include the energy of the personnel rendering services to patrons.  The customer service at Impressive Brows in Largo was unacceptable and I can't recommend this business, since the staff floats around to their various offices, to another woman to perform a cosmetic service that will affect their appearance for the next 2 years, at a minimum. First appointment: Purchased the Ombre brow with a professional and received the service on Friday, November 12, 2021.  My first interaction upon arrival was with Ms. Pat and she was very pleasant and kind at every interaction I had with her.  The professional who did my brows was Ms Alex, who on the other hand, had very few words.  She was quick and appeared to be very meticulous with her work.  Throughout the procedure, I had little pain but nothing too unbearable.  Upon completion, my brows looked okay, however, I would have liked to have received an arch.  I mentioned this to Ms Alex.  She made some modifications to both brows.  Still no noticeable change in having an arch.  Voiced my concern to Ms. Pat, who stated if I still feel the same when I return for my follow-up in January 2022, they will fix it.  The facility was very clean and inviting.  I'm glad my supervisor told me about the place.  The Ombre brows last a good amount of time.  I had Ombre brows done several years ago while living in Hawaii.  So I was excited to hear about Impressive Brows.  I recommend their service.  Just be sure to verbalize your expectation. read more

They have different services; brows, lips, skin, etc. Everyone was very nice, gave it a four star, have to wait six weeks to see the true out come and for the follow up. As a Christian, I am sorry to say that, If I could give this a zero I would. I went to get my eyebrows done and the student that waited on me was very kind, friendly, professional and attentive to my concerns and request. He went back and forth to the so called manager. I could her telling him not to do what I wanted as for the darker color and a curve shape. She came in the room and I told her that after looking at the work done that one eyebrow was higher than the other. She said, "that's because of your eye muscle and that she knows what looks best for me". I told the her if that's so, then couldn't you adjust and camouflage it to look even. She got mad and left the room. I told the student that it's my face and that I'm the one who have to wear it and that my thoughts should have been considered as a paying customer. He reassured me that I was correct and that I was not requesting anything abnormal. I got home to have my family and friends confirm that one eyebrow was higher than the other. I called to my do my final appointment, in hopes of getting it fixed. I spoke with a scheduler person named Michael to schedule an appointment with the gentlemen who did the work the 1st time, only to learn that he was no longer with the company. I happen to know that the student had not graduated, because he told me how much time he had left. I told Michael the scheduler, that I did not want the person who work on that weekend of my 1st appointment to service me. I said that I would like a different person to finish the work. He said, "I will schedule you with someone else and that my wife will help with the work. I got to my 2nd appointment only to find out that the person who showed came to get me in the lobby was the same person who was working on that Saturday. I asked if there was another person to do the work and she said, "no my last appointment was a no show and that she was the only person there, that she was the owner and (very rudely said), " OH yeah I remember you, I don't want to do your eyebrows". She said, "you can call Michael and walked away leaving me sitting in lobby. DO NOT use this company if you have any request and/or concerns on what you want looking back at you in the morning when you look in the mirror, or want a nice, kind, friendly and professional customer service.
