The staff were friendly and listened to my wishes in terms of what kind of dress I was looking for. I liked that I wasn't pushed to try on styles I already knew I didn't like. I found the selection of the particular style I was looking for to be pretty limited, but I did enjoy my visit.

I wanna thank Rebecca for helping me find my dream dress and helping me customize it to make it my own. I tried on many dresses and nothing really clicked till Rebecca mentioned we can add more lace to any place I wanted. When she started placing the added lace to the dress, my moment came. The next day Samantha, Erin, and Ericka helped me do one more good look to make sure I was sure of my choice and wrap up the final details. Thank you all so much!

If you book your bridal fitting appointment, request Chloe! She is the type of stylist that you don't have to explain every little detail of what you want, she will just know as you try dresses on! She made me feel comfortable about getting dressed in front of another girl, because no one told me that that was common practice LOL! She stayed within my budget, style, and gave me the entire experience that a bride is looking for. Thank you so much, Chloe! Sending blessings your way girly! I want to start this review off by saying that I flew all the way from Seattle, Washington after having to cancel and rebook flights for 3 months due to Coronavirus to come to this store. I visited a couple of stores in the San Antonio area, but I wanted to visit Impression Bridal last because I knew that would be the place. I was keeping up with them on Instagram, constantly talking to them, and on one of their Instagram live stories, consultant Heather was making banana pudding and someone asked her why she does what she does, and her answer gave me goose bumps and I immediately requested her. After all the canceled and rebooked flights, the time finally came and I got to San Antonio. I waited so patiently for Sunday to come, and I came in with my mother and matron of honor only to be greeted by the sweetest people ever at the front desk, and of course the wonderful Heather. She took me back to the showing area, which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL (mirrors everywhere, easy to see yourself and your guests to see you as well, looked so clean and amazing). She asked me a lot of questions to get to me better and she then she grabbed a couple dresses for me to try on. The first dress she showed me I audibly gasped and I said "yep I want that one on me". During the entire process, Heather was SOOO personable, talked to me like we were friends for years, and it made the experience that much better. I had the dress on, my eyes were closed and she put the veil on, a head piece on and put a bouquet that resembles my colors in my hands. She painted a picture of my wedding (while my eyes were closed), talked about my fiancé and him seeing me in this dress for the first time, then I opened my eyes and just started crying. The first dress... balling my eyes out. I pulled myself together, and she had my guests close their eyes. She walked me out to where the mirrors are and painted a picture of my wedding day again, this time including my mother and even more imagery of my wedding. We all opened our eyes and I just started sobbing. It was 100% the dress and I knew that this was worth the wait and stress of flying out here. They got me all accessorized and I just couldn't stop staring at myself. This was hands down the best experience of my life and Heather made it that way for us. I knew this store was special which is why I saved it for last, and I'm so glad that I did. This was worth the 6 hour flight. Everyone in that store was absolutely amazing and I am so so happy to have said yes to the dress here! If you're in the area, GO HERE! And if you're like me and live out of state... GO HERE!!! It's worth it, they have such a large collection of dresses in ALL sizes! I felt like an actual bride, I wasn't self conscious which I normally am. I was confident and comfortable, and I have Heather to thank for that. Run, don't walk to Impression Bridal in San Antonio

I do not recommend Impression Bridal, I ordered my dress 2/27/2022, signed a contract my dress would be in 4/29 latest May 3, 2022, Mind you my wedding 6/4/2022. Called 4/27, 4/28, 4/29 I was told by a rude receptionist, why don't you wait they said beginning of May5 your dress will be in, Mind you we planned our wedding 1 year, so I said okay I will not be one of those mean customers, Went to location in person twice once on Mother's Day , and the weekend before that , spoke to Karla the manage, assured my dress will be in soon, cut the middle mam (Karla ) called Corporate gave them the whole story, bottom line, they said that they will send my deposit back in my card 275.00 an the 877.00 in check mail, I asked why check? I was told due to them switching systems, makes no sense, today is May 13, 2022 no check or no refund in my card. I want to add I did try to work with them, I even was going to go to Houston to pick up, my dress, but I was told it was not at the Houston Gallery either until 5/20 they were not sure. Don't shop here I get married 6/4/2022 No Dress, No Money Until I get my money Back, lack of Communication, No Follow at All, Ready to make payment, Rude employees. 5/13/2022 No dress and money, Mind you my wedding 6/4/2022. No Compensation, or they willing to help. DO NOT SHOP HERE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to wait on my own money!! SMH they had 3 months to take of this matter!!!Not even here is extra money because I got my shoes , veil, Jewelry, I have not even taken my picture for wedding DAY!!!!! the one star is because it does not let you post unless you rate!! Don't waste your time , obviously they take consideration that you took your time and patience for them. Don't do it Brides!!!!!!

I scheduled an appointment a month in advance to find my dream dress. Mariah accommodated my bridesmaids, mom, and I for our entire appointment. I will say she is an excellent consultant and took the time to listen in on what kind of dress I was looking for that made me feel my absolute best and confident in. The dresses she picked out were stunning and I felt torn on trying to pick until she pulled out the last dress that had a combination of everything I liked about the dresses I was shown. After trying it on, I fell in love with the last dress and it didn't break my budget at all! Mariah is outstanding on finding my dream dress and veil! She brought the energy to my group and I cannot thank her enough! I definitely felt listened to when finding my dream dress and everyone took safety precautions. We mainly had the place to ourselves, and the staff was accommodating in every way possible! Not only did Mariah help me visualize my wedding look with flowers, veiled and hair, but she definitely considered my bridesmaids and mom's input and I said yes to the dress!

This sample size was a 12, and it was still clipped and still loose on me... so again, why recommend a 14?

My experience overall finding my dress back in October was good. Now it's been a few months since I've picked up said dress and I've been stewing on this. Between October and March when I picked up my dress, I wouldn't even say I'd lost considerable weight AT ALL, let's start with that. When I got measured for my order the seamstress who helped me told me I was IN BETWEEN a 12 and a 14 and it would be recommended I size up "in case I gained weight, it's easier to take something in than to let it out" (because you know that's the goal of every bride, to GAIN before the big day) now this all sounds fine and dandy and I took her for her word because this is her JOB. It had been a long day, my mom wasn't there to advocate for me because I am a child and don't ever speak up, but after signing on the dotted line putting half down and leaving, it came to my attention that my measurements weren't in between at all. The sample I tried on WAS a 12, and was too large, and the dress size they recommended to me was ALSO obviously too large. My consultant's words to me were "you've lost a lot of weight since October" no. I hadn't. Y'all had me size up for literally NO reason, I assume to lead to more expensive alternating costs on my end, which is frustrating. So now I have this dress that at the end of the day will be more than 3 dress sizes too large on me. I won't be bringing it back in for alterations here. (I've included the back of the dress showing the sample was already TOO big, as well as the measurements taken which clearly show I should have gotten a 12-now a 10 at this point) Let me start by saying dress shopping is exhausting. Trying things on in general is not my favorite and I was already pretty overwhelmed by the time I got to my appointment since it was right after another appointment I had at another shop, which was my first ever. So I was already 7+ dresses deep into my search that day by the time I got to Impression. Everyone was super friendly. My consultant Joe knew his stuff. It was nice once we were shown around and with my budget I basically had my pick of the crop. The prices were surprisingly affordable. For what I thought I was wanting I was expecting to spend a lot more. I came in with like a SLIGHT idea of what I thought looked good and what I liked from my previous appointment that afternoon and idk when it happened but Joe started pulling other stuff for me a completely different silhouette than I ever thought would look good and it was all over after that. I was slightly overwhelmed just because I had started my day saying these appointments were JUST to see what I liked and what looked good, plus not everyone was there that I had hoped would be for this special decisions (aka my mom was in CA and my MOH had food poisoning) but tears started coming and after a teary FaceTime call to mama I knew it was the one. It's crazy because i found the dress online today and it looks SO different from what it looks like when I tried it on so I'm so glad Joe took a leap and threw me in it because who knows if I ever would have picked it for myself. Everyone was very informative and helpful and I look forward to getting my dress in and doing all the alterations and additions to make it my special dress.

Ok it fits great but look and the side of my boobs and the straps.

Went to try on dresses here, and the shop's set up has been my favorite of all the shops so far…read morebecause of the large mirrors, large private rooms with curtains, and the large windows in the front to see how dresses look in the natural light, which is perfect if you plan on having and outdoor wedding. Emma was very helpful during my appointment, and she pulled several dresses for me. I was the only one in the shop at the time, so it felt like a very private and low stress environment. The prices ranged from 700-a couple of thousand dollars. There was a section with off-the-rack dresses, which were more on the cheaper side, and others in which you could order your size and color. Overall, I had a great experience here, and almost bought my dress here, but decided to keep looking and found my dress elsewhere.

My original gown shopping experience with Taylor was positive, and I captured that sentiment in a completely separate 5-star review. This review and reply are only about the alterations communication she provided and veil outcome, which occurred months after purchase. When buying the veil, I was directly told by Taylor that both shortening and appliqué removal at the top were possible in alterations. I made it clear that the ability to remove that top appliqué was the sole reason I moved forward with ordering that specific veil. At the alteration appointment which I attended in-person, the veil was shortened, but the appliqué was still untouched. We marked precisely where it needed to be removed so the design would properly align with my dress. I did not approve leaving it as-is. Because I live out of town, my mother later picked up the veil on my behalf. Only at that time, days before my wedding at final pick up, were we told the top appliqué removal could not be done at all, even though it had already been discussed many times. At that pickup moment, I did not threaten a bad review. I requested a full refund so I could return the veil entirely, and that request was denied by you because the veil had "already been altered." Again, those alterations were not completed based on what was discussed or marked and, as mentioned in my initial review, I had to settle for a partial discount and a veil I was unhappy with. So my review is warranted. Had I been told upfront that the change wasn't possible, OR had the appliqué been removed where we marked it, I would have: * never purchased the veil, * never requested a refund, * and happily kept and loved what I ordered. Instead, I was left with a veil that: * visibly clashed with the dress due to color contrast at the top, * was not altered as confirmed or marked, * and could not be returned when I asked, despite the incomplete work. Transparency is everything in bridal alterations-- especially for expensive, time-sensitive items with no remake or replacement window. My response is not personal to Taylor's styling work, but clarity matters for future brides reading this. Brides deserve accurate information and accountability on purchases made specifically because of alteration assurances. I stand by my review and this context.

I brought in only the top half of my mom's wedding dress, which she wore over 25 years ago on her special day (shoulder pads and all!), with a dream of turning it into a full dress for my wedding. Van and her team handled the vintage and very delicate lace and beads with great care. They were meticulously precise with color matching, altering the top half, sewing on the bottom half, adding extra pearls to create a fade-out effect, and making a custom veil. Van even saved all the scraps from the top half because she understood the sentimental value. The before-and-after photo truly shows their incredible talent. I wholeheartedly recommend Bridal Perfect Fit for custom wedding dresses or any wedding dress alterations. They treat everything with care, patience, and kindness throughout the whole process. Even after my wedding, I took my dress in for preservation and enjoyed the entire experience, from dropping it off to picking it up in the preservation box. Not only did I wear my beautiful, sentimental custom dress, but now I get to see it beautifully displayed in the preservation box. They are incredibly trustworthy and genuinely care about every single one of their customers from the beginning to the end.
