Tina made the experience so much easier with her compassion, patience, and expertise. She fitted me with the perfect bra, and I'm incredibly grateful for her help. After seeing recommendations for Aphrodite's Closet in social media groups, I finally made my way there. I was greeted by the owner, Ms. Tina, in the beautifully decorated store. It's located off the street in a non descript storefront but once you step inside, you know you're in a female friendly space. Ms Tina asked about the problems I was experiencing with my current fit and then literally sized me up. I went from a 40D to a customized 38G which fit like a glove. While she was busy providing the individualized fitting. I mused about the price, think it would be over $100 for each handmade brassiere so I was thrilled to hear the bras run under $75. Which is still a lot for a single bra compared to department store brands but the quality was outstanding. She explained how they are made and that you can also customize the look. I looked and felt like a brand new woman. So much so that I nabbed a sports bra on the way out. Plan to upgrade your wardrobe soon. You'll be glad you did.

I went with a friend so she could get a fitting and we were welcomed warmly, the fitting went really well from what i could hear and what she said afterwards! Would definitely recommend especially if you have had a hard time getting the right size for yourself. I didn't get her name, but the fitter that serviced us today was very knowledgeable about the sizing of bras and was able to help my friend a lot and was very patient with her. The only down side was i wasn't a huge fan of the person doing the fitting walking away from my friend for several minutes at a time (way longer than necessary to change in and out of different bras) and even took a call from a customer in the middle of the service, so i would like to see them be more attentive to someone that has appointment they paid for. I can't dock them a star for that because the experience was definitely worth the one inconvenience, it just didnt feel great. Overall, definitely worth going, just know you might have to wait in your appointment.

The very next day I go to the place to return it in the same bag the same packaging and receipt from yesterday and they will not accept any refunds. In this modern technology day and age world we live in with Walmart, target Amazon, everyone offering refunds how the hell does this place stay in business doing shitty business practices like that. They are ripping off their customers. I will never shop here again. Plus their prices are astronomically high when you can go online and you can get something for the third of the price. These people are gouging us. They suck and they must be put out out of business.

Alright.... So, most people are too embarrassed to even walk in let alone write a review. But, when…read morethe service is exceptional, how could you not?! I am not one for spending big money on lingerie, most of the time it's itchy and 100% of the time it ends up on the floor after 3.8 secs in of modeling for my hubby. So why? ‍. Walked in the door and we were greeted right away by a friendly face behind the counter (I mean how could you not be happy working at a job where your whole mission is selling things that make other people scream with joy?!). Hubby and I marched to the back - The Toys-R-Us section for adults. It was very well organized and bright. Why does brightness matter, well, there are a few things y'all may need to read the instructions to figure out exactly WHERE to put it once you get it home! As we were shopping a delightful lady stopped to answer questions for us and even took a - rhymes with schmildo- out of the box for us to see what it was made and how flexible it was. Man, she whipped that thing out like it was a sword or Star Wars light saber and was flinging it around with a straight face. Meanwhile I'm dying laughing. She said that she's been there so long that she doesn't even realize she's doing it! Long story short: exceptional service, and a huge selection of everything you need, don't need, may ever need and will wonder if you should've bought. Is it pricey? Sort of BUT, do ya really want something cheap stuck in your monkey forcing you to go the ER? Nope, not me... give me high quality any day!

I'm not typically someone to leave a bad review. My experience at Perky Peacock today, however,…read moreneeds to be shared since people use Yelp to decide where they want to spend their time and money. Both are precious, especially these days. If you don't want to read the whole thing: I've shopped here for years. The older lady who works here, with reddish hair, was rude and dismissive. Shes been rude before. This was the last time I'll be at Perky Peacock. When I shop here I typically spend a decent amount as I have a larger chest and they have many bras to choose from, as well as quite a selection of clothes. I've lost some weight in the past six months, but haven't updated my bra drawer so I decided to visit perky Peacock. I need an accurate measurement to buy some new bras as well as some clothes for a trip I have coming up. When I went in a young woman asked if I needed any help and I said I needed a bra fitting. She didn't have experience in fittings so she led me to the counter, where there was an older woman who would be able to help me. She groaned, looked extremely annoyed, and asked if I would be in the area for the next hour as another employee had just gone to lunch and she was helping another customer (I was the only other person in the shop outside of the two employees.) It looked like she was doing inventory from what I saw, but maybe she was working on a large order for someone who was coming back? Either way, l told her I wasn't sure but would shop for a while. When she realized I would be sticking around to shop she asked if I knew what band size I was. In which I replied, "No, that's part of the reason why I need to get fitted." She made another annoyed sound, rolled her eyes, and mumbled something to the other employee as I walked to a rack to peruse their sundresses. I didn't let on that I had heard her mutter to the other employee. She has been rude before to myself and other customers and I didn't have any desire to buy anything at that point. I just calmly walked out of the store shortly after. I'm writing this because I was treated as a burden and an annoyance. To treat someone so rudely who could be spending hundreds of dollars, or even someone just window shopping, at your establishment isn't ok in the least. I try to shop local. I love this town and I love the many shops around here. Unfortunately, there aren't very many locally owned places that cater to undergarments for women. So, I'll be heading out to get fitted at Soma and buying my bras and other various items somewhere else from here on out.
