I went with a friend so she could get a fitting and we were welcomed warmly, the fitting went really well from what i could hear and what she said afterwards! Would definitely recommend especially if you have had a hard time getting the right size for yourself. I didn't get her name, but the fitter that serviced us today was very knowledgeable about the sizing of bras and was able to help my friend a lot and was very patient with her. The only down side was i wasn't a huge fan of the person doing the fitting walking away from my friend for several minutes at a time (way longer than necessary to change in and out of different bras) and even took a call from a customer in the middle of the service, so i would like to see them be more attentive to someone that has appointment they paid for. I can't dock them a star for that because the experience was definitely worth the one inconvenience, it just didnt feel great. I set up an apt. due to all the 5-star reviews, but I can only offer a 3-star review. Let me tell you what no one else here will. I scheduled a fitting measuring apt for 1:00...that I had to pay for before they will schedule you. I get there a little early. I didn't get seen until 1:15. Not only did I get seen late, but the visit was super rushed and the employee doing the measuring had 3 other ladies that she was helping. When I am done and checking out the lady at the register asks If "I want to leave a tip for the measurer?". I tell her that's what the apt. was for your website fines it as a "personalized fitting fee". She insists again a little more adamant if I wanted to leave a tip for the measurer. I repeated myself that's what your personalized fitting fee is for. I told her if you guys feel like she needs a tip then that's on you because I paid your fitting fee that should be her tip. My daughter and I were walk ins and were told there was a one hour waiting time, we said we would wait. Then they said for us to leave and come back with in an hour. We said we would come back in an hour. i asked for sure they are going to see us and they said YES!!! We came back 45 minutes later and were told they had other walk ins so they couldn't measure us. I reminded them they said they would see us, again they said sorry they took other walk ins. I won't be going back because they have done this before and that time I had an appointment. So if you go there don't leave even if they say to go and come back. perhaps it was a miscommunication never was it mentioned to sign in and pay for a bra fit fee. If you would've mentioned that we would've gladly paid. The way it was said when we return, we would've been taken in and be measured, no one said that if we left, we would loose our place, if other walk ins came in. The Bra Box is one of the most inclusive and personalized businesses that I've encountered. It's basically like you have your own personal shopper, and they will have your size no matter who you are. There are some unexpected aspects to the business, but now that I've tried it, I'm on board! Basically, you need an appointment to get fitted, and a fitting appointment costs $25. However, if you walk in, they can usually work you in, and they have a cute waiting area for you to sit in. The upside to this system is that you get really personalized attention. No long waits while you're topless in the fitting room! No hunting around the racks, looking at tags. The woman helping me kept periodically returning with more options, and she would tell me what looked like a good or not so good fit. Also, her method of sizing me worked much better than those I've encountered in the past. The most impressive thing to me is their array of sizes. I wear a very small band size and a very large cup size. I pretty much exclusively order bras online because almost no stores carry my size on hand. Also, bra shopping in person can be a drag when everyone is always commenting on how weird your body is. The Bra Box had several options for me! I walked away with 4 beautiful, different, versatile bras. Also, no one made me feel like a freak. You can tell they've worked with women of every body type, and they don't judge. This place doesn't just cater to one size. They have sizing diversity across the board. If you have a large band size and smaller cup size, they'll have you covered too! This is a great place to go to get a bra that really fits and supports the way it should. The Bra Box has a good selection, and if they don't have your size and color in stock, they'll order it for you. The bras are well-made and last longer than the year they recommend for replacements. BUT, the service could be much more friendly and courteous. A couple of the employees in particular don't even smile or pretend to be friendly, which can be especially off-putting when you're in the vulnerable state of being half clothed. One of them even physically shuddered when I mentioned that I had breast-fed and felt the need to share her plan NEVER to breast-feed her babies. I thought that was uncalled for and a bit weird. Service, Selection, Value! I am a 32F. I have to order online and all the department stores have become so Vanilla and useless.... I have a wedding to attend in 4 days, and the Universe was against me getting a corset bustier! And Department stores don't carry them either! I posted this on google reviews almost a week ago, but it is not showing up. Very weird. This was my third visit to The Bra Box and it will be my last. I made appointments for my niece and I, and they squeezed in my sister, which was very nice. I gave 2 stars for that. Went in for my fitting and after I've lost 25 pounds, somehow I went from a 38G to a 38I. She said it was one size up, but after coming home and checking the bras I bought last year, it was 2. I said a few times that the cup felt too big, but she would move all my extras from my armpit and boom, they fit. I don't think my armpit fat should be in my boob, but I guess I'm wrong. I noticed they had a 20% off on their website, so I asked if I can just order online for the 3 bras I wanted to purchase. I was immediately greeted with negative comments. "That color won't be available online" "you'll have to wait until Tuesday to get your bras, if they are still in stock" what is the big deal? We are all trying to make ends meet and $250 for a fitting and 3 bras is A LOT. I go to check out and the website will not allow me to check out. The associates said it happens all the time and to just keep trying. She said after the website times out to refresh it and it should work. I stood in the store trying for over 30 min. I had full bars and 5G so that wasn't the issue. I tried normal check out and apple check out with no luck. Kept getting errors. She said to remove everything and try again....magically the color I want isn't in the drop down. Aaaaand still won't let me check out. I asked if they would just honor the 20% off bc I'm right here in front of them and it's not working and I could really use the $42 it would save me. Nope. Nothing. Said if I do it for you, I have to do it for everyone. WELL you should if your website isn't working and the customer is right here in front of you showing you. The associate tried herself and it didn't work. Horrible. I ended up saying to just give me 2 of the 3 bras bc I wasn't going to give them more money for this subpar experience. I waited outside for my sister and niece and the manager came out and handed me underwear (that were too big for me) as a gift for my "frustration". Nice gesture, but I can't wear these. Why not just take that money off my bill like I asked instead? These underwear said they were $27. I don't understand it. I get home and wear my at home bra and the cup IS too big. I've already taken off the tags so I know I'm SOL. I'll have to bring back the other bra to swap it for a smaller cup, even though I'd rather never go back. More time, more money, more frustrations. Update: I went back to swap out the bra and was told "this is a one time courtesy". The bra was never worn and still had the tags on it. The card they provided stated I could exchange it within 10 days...nothing about only having one shot at exchanging. Bizarre. I wish them the best. Response to owner: My sister and I went November 26, 2022 and she bought me 4 or 5 bras. Not sure why you're showing over 2 years ago and one bra. It's not a big deal though. It was a subpar experience and I stand by that statement. I did say the cups felt too big a few times. The online ordering situation was a nightmare. We ultimately are never going to agree about this situation and I'm okay with that. As I said in my review, I appreciated the gesture of the panties. But why would I keep panties that don't fit me? That's why I gave them back. I did go back in a few days later and exchanged out the one wired bra that I hadn't cut the tags off of for a smaller cup. I looked online for other colors now that I know my size and they are selling bras at double the price. I specifically asked for bras that smoothed certain areas... told that was not a thing. Yet the manager/owner/ whomever spent so much time walking the women who didn't look me their through how to buy, what to look for, how to care for.. WITHOUT them asking. Only reason I'm not returning is because an employee took my tags (which was strange to me) but I now see was so that I could not adhere to return/exchange policies. Cannot say enough how amazing the staff is here! I had surgery several years ago that caused some nerve damage. It makes bra shopping not a fun experience. However, the staff here is incredible and extremely supportive in helping find what works best for you!
