It's like Sweet 16 in the Latino culture, significant right of passage into womanhood. I couldn't find any in the store, so asked one of the staff members for some help. Francine thought they had at least one, but she had no luck either. The manager was not in to ask. Francine took my name and number, then called the next day to say that Hallmark does checks on the stores to see which cards are selling and if numbers are low they pull that card/category from inventory. This was one of them. She kindly gave me the phone numbers for a couple other area Hallmarks so I can check availability before driving around. Used to buy Keepsake Christmas ornaments from the Star Trek series at this location. Have enough starships, shuttles and characters to make a whole Star Trek tree! But they've become rather expensive, and find the characters aren't as nicely done as they used to be. However, this year it's Spock's death scene with Kirk from "Wrath of Khan"... Not sure I can resist for long! ;)

They seem to know what they carry in the store a lot more than the workers at other stores that I have visited. I also like how they always have these cute little displays. Overall its nice and easy access since there is a big parking lot and trust me you will always get surprised at the things you find here. I always leave with something for the person I am shopping for and something random that I impulsively pick up.

I called the store and explained what happened and they said I would have to come back to the store to receive a refund, even though they saw the item I purchased on the counter where the sales rep left it. I then asked to speak to the manager, and I was placed on hold once again for over 10 minutes. I explained to Jessica the manager that I don't live close by and it would be an inconvenience she still said they couldn't do anything about it and I would have to come back into the store for my refund. I'm out of a gift for my coworker, no refund unless I travel 45 minutes back to that store, and leave to get a cheesy gift card. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND NOT MY FAULT!!!!

Hallmark is one of…read morethose stores close to my heart, as I have shopped at various locations for many years, and consistently, there are less and less of them around. Thankfully, the Millis location is still in business, but from what it looked like, they might be the next to get out (this would surprise me as Millis doesn't really have any other gift shops similar to this....). All of the card racks are more than half bare, Christmas stuff still out in June? Has anyone heard of such a thing? Now, I do know Christmas stuff comes in early (I've heard of it coming in late August at Sears....), but JUNE! That's a real record! Staff are very generous, kind, and helpful in finding any normal 'Hallmark'-like item. Store is large, vast and very clean. Never busy, and a good selection in the photo albums and frame area, as well as all of the plaques and decoration items they sell. Air conditioning is really pleasant here too (for some reason it's REALLY cold!). Hopefully, it's not how it seems, I want to see this place stay afloat. 4 stars for the Millis Hallmark.
