It's been almost a year since my Toyota Camry has been in the shop here, but I still think about…read morethe service I received every time I get in it to drive. I went in to get a quote for a torque converter replacement and spoke to the owner or manager (I'm not sure which). He seemed extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable. He even told me his entire family has driven Camry's and he's very familiar with them. I already had a diagnostic for the torque converter from Don Moore, but he'd never heard of Camry's having torque converter issues, so he did some quick research on an online vehicle forum, and was surprised to see a few others with the same issue. He wanted one of his technicians to run their own diagnostic to be sure before completing such a big, mechanical job as such. The diagnostic costed over $100, and they confirmed the issue with the torque converter. The quote came out to $1000. Once I decided to do the repair through Fast Lane, we got my car scheduled, I dropped it off on Sunday evening, and they told me I'd have it back in my possession before Thanksgiving that following Thursday. Come Thanksgiving Day, I still hadn't heard from them, so I called on Friday and asked for an update. I was told the technician was running behind, but he planned to stay late that day, Friday, to have it finished up for me to pickup Saturday morning. I call Saturday morning, the car still isn't ready to be picked up because they'd like to cold start and test drive it. They're closed on Sundays, meaning I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Monday. At this point, I was irritated, but hoping the wait would mean a job well done. Monday rolls around, guess whose car STILL wasn't ready! Tuesday, they finally give me a call saying it's ready for pickup. I couldn't go then, so Wednesday morning, I got up and went straight there. As soon as I put my hand on my gear shifter, I realized it was bent. Yes, bent. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off, but I thought okay I guess? But, when I tried to shift into reverse, the shifter got "stuck" almost, and wouldn't move further. I would've had to tug it with my entire arm strength, which most likely would've snapped it in half. I never had any previous issues with the gear shifter, in the slightest, until my car was under Fast Lane's care. I put the vehicle right back into park and walked my ass right back inside. I let the receptionist know my concern, and she had the technician go take another look. I kid you not, he "resolved" the problem in a matter of 3 minutes, handed me my keys, and assured me everything was fine, I would just have to pull a little. I didn't leave my car in that condition, so I truly don't understand in what world, why I picked it up in that condition, unless the technician did something wrong. Not only that, but my gear shifter is VERY clearly BENT. Every time I move the gear shifter now, I have to use much more force than before, and the wiring underneath sounds like it's tugging or rubbing very tightly against something. I'm not the technician, so hell, I don't know. I do it's extremely frustrating and disappointing, and I will never, ever bring a vehicle of mine to this shop again, nor will I recommended it to anybody. To charge people thousands of dollars and lead them to believe their vehicle will be in good care, you should be ashamed when your business fails to do their part. Spend the extra couple hundred to have the dealerships do your repair work. I promise you the headaches and run-a-rounds are not worth your time or money.

I'm warning anyone considering doing business with VASS CDJR -- run the other way. This dealership…read morehas cost us thousands of dollars, months without reliable transportation, and a mountain of stress. We put a $20,000 down payment down on a vehicle. In January of 2024. Vehicle went in for a recall fix in August and two months later I got concerned because they still had our vehicle and weren't helping us with any sort of ride or anything yet we're still making payments and going without a car and so I started doing some investigating and I came across a documented odometer rollback on our vehicle that they clearly attempted and I can only say this for certain because they publicly posted the vehicle we purchased for sale on their car lot September 9th of 2023 The documented odometer roll back was performed September 18th of 2023 full-blown proof they had it in their possession when the odometer roll back was documented. So we tried to return the vehicle and they have stonewalled us every single chance they get. It is now been a year and a half We have now got authorities involved the attorney general involved it has been a mess I am warning everyone stay far far away from this business. On top of all this they continue calling us telling us we have positive equity in our vehicle and that we need to bring it in for a trade-in but then when we ask them if they take trade-ins with documented odometer rollbacks on the car history report they tell us no. Which is absurd because they sold us the vehicle in the first place and they are refusing to help us return it. Who really would want to buy a vehicle with a documented odometer roll back on it nobody not a single person and especially not anybody who puts $20,000 down on a vehicle. You know how long it took us to save that money? We tried to give them a chance to make things right. They chose to lie, deflect, and deny responsibility. This place is not honest, not helpful, and absolutely not worth the risk. Don't learn the hard way like we did. They sent the attorney general fraudulent invoices with mismatching dates the receipt we received when we picked up our car after the recall was performed States what recall who did it All the information it needs to have and the invoice they provided to the attorney general shows that they did that same exact stuff and the same exact recall on a different date you can't do the same exact recall on a different date you just can't. It's fraudulent they are producing fraudulent paperwork to authorities on our case It's absurd don't buy from them
