Indian food has long enjoyed a history for over 400 years. We all know "Curry is a catch-all term."
Opinions vary about the word "curry" from all over the world. Derived from the French word "cuire"(cook), the Tamil word "Kari" (sauce), to the Gujarati word "Kurdi"(spicy soup) or the Hindi word "Kaalee" (Pepper), the English have been misheard this as "Curry."
You can not beat our freshly cooked curries and the pride we took is cooking it.
All the spices of the east came to all over the world gradually since 16th century. The Western taste for spicy foods has developed since.
The most used spices are Turmeric (Ginger family), Coriander powder (Dhonia), Chili Powder (King of spice), Cumin (Jeera), Mustard Seeds, Cardamon (Queen of spice), Cinnamon, Tamarind, Peppercorns, Sesame seeds, Star anise, etc.
