Egg drop soup is gluten freeeee
    Elisabeth P.

I was really pleasantly surprised on my visit here. I thought for sure I would be watching everyone else eat and I'd be out of luck. There was a server who was brought over to speak with me since her English was excellent. She knew exactly what gluten was and what I could have. The sauce is a garlic white sauce and I could pick whatever wasn't fried to have them put it on. I ordered the cashew chicken and it with the sauce was delicious. The egg drop soup was also gluten free and very good. My coresidents all enjoyed their meals as well. Atmosphere is pretty traditional for Chinese dining with a lot of decorations with red and gold, dragons, and those great Chinese astrology place mats. Everyone was very friendly, food came out quickly and was a large portion, and price was very reasonable. I'll definitely be stopping by here again sometime soon.

Check your food carefully before you swallow, as mine contained a long sharp object. The food is good, but not the same as the original owners. I miss the oriental vegetables, now they use peas and carrots.

    Burnt greasy "shrimp toast"

We just ordered delivery tonight and I was surprised it was at my door in 18 minutes! However when I opened the food the first thing I noticed is the shrimp toast was burnt, and completely grease soaked. The potstickers had a thick rubbery skin and the filling with a stiff off tasting meatball. The egg drop soup had so much canned corn in it that was all I could taste. The Lo Mein was pretty good, and my husband liked his beef & broccoli. I work food service and very rarely complain bc I understand that things happen and sometimes a person may just not like certain foods, but this was such a huge disappointment I felt compelled to share. $30 later and half of it is going in the trash...

The facility is gorgeous, well stocked and had all kinds of extras that you can choose to use for your event. Great sound system. She was involved through the whole process and so easy to work with. The bartender was great and so accommodating when we had a featured drink request. Thank you so much! Hostess was very prompt and we were brought into a private dining room for our dinner Our server Tatum was wonderful. She was very attentive and we enjoyed the service. Tasting menu can be found online and its 185 per person. We ordered ala carte. We ordered Crab sanchetti, grilled octopus, hamachi sashimi, tajarin dala forma and a 48oz steak to share. We had a group of 7. Ambiance was fantastic till the other party of about 10 came into the private room. They were very noisy and not very considerate. Our drinks came promptly. I had a midnight mist, hubby had the raspberry berret. And my mom in law had some red dessert wine. Food was fanstastic. The hamachi sashimi was delicious - super fresh. Oysters were absolutely delish very well shelled. The grilled octopus was tender and not overly cooked. The steak was tender and delicious in the au jus. The mash was whipped and absolutely creamy like cloud. We ordered the 48 oz ribeye steak to share it was delicious and they do slice it up for you so that it is easy to share. The spaghetti tajarin dala forma was made table side and the head of service explained what he was doing step by step. Unfortunately, this experience was marred by our neighbours for the night as they were enjoying themselves too much. The shisito pepper on the mash was nicely crusted and absolutely delish. Even the onion, and green onions were devoured. After that, we ordered dessert. I had the stone fruit chocolate tart and it was decadent. Chocolate with light mint. Absolutely delicious It came with a price tag though. Great for occassions- like birthdays and anniversaries when you want to splurge A wonderful experience! Thank you to all at the Casa Bovina. Definitely a night to remember.

It's eclectic and book-ish, with shelves lining the walls and cocktails inspired by favorites! There was a good mix of tables and space to mingle. It was great for the type of event we were at. I'd love to come back again sometime. I was also very happy to see a mocktail menu and am glad many places are moving in that direction. For my mocktail, I tried the Practical Magic (lavendar, house sour, orange bitters), and it was delicious - almost like a sparkling lavendar lemonade. I wish I could have tried the Secret Garden (prickly pear, lime, orange), but they were out of the tequila alternative, and I hadn't thought to sub in real tequila at the time. For my cocktail, I tried the Lavendar and Lace, mostly because I was intrigued by the egg white foam. This is a gorgeous drink to look at and equally to enjoy. It's a bit sweet for my usual liking, but it was delicious none the less.

It is actually located at 201 N. 7th St. in Lincoln's Historic Haymarket District. This location is good for large fundraisers, dances, & weddings. According to their website: - Located in the Haymarket - Beautiful Marble Floors - 19 Foot High Ceilings - Seats up to 425 - Total Meeting Space - 6,100 sq. ft. - Total Number of Meeting Rooms - 1 - Food/Beverage Capabilities - Yes - Total Number of Sleeping Rooms - 0 Photos & a floorplan are also available here: http://www.premiercatering.net/lincolnstation.htm I've been to many different events here, & they all seemed to run smoothly. TIPS: - For out-of-towners, several nice hotels are within walking distance (even in 4" heels - just watch the cobblestone!). - For newlyweds - the Haymarket is a favorite place for outdoor wedding photos. - Bring cash. If there's an ATM inside, I can't find it. - If you're early to an event here, walk a block north & check out the water tower courtyard, brick relief of a train, & the old "retired" trains behind the building. There's also a train jungle gym for kids who need to run out some energy. - Excellent locally breweed beer & homemade ice cream next door, at Lazlo's & Ivanna Cone, respectively. - Use the south doors on the east side of the building. (next to the bronze guy on the bench) The entrances to the ballroom are often locked on the other side during events.
