But this time my $47.50 eye fillet and mash was cold (hardly even warm) when it arrived at the table - one mouthful and that was it. So I took it back and the young lady was most polite and agreed to replace it with a curry. Next thing the chef comes out and starts abusing me saying that no way it was cold, he knew it was hot! Despite me protesting that my wife had tasted it and agreed it was totally cold. I then requested my money back which the young lady politely did. But then the belligerent barman came over and proceeded to demand what was going on and was threatening and completely unprofessional. Subsequently I heard from a local friend that this guy has a reputation for being obnoxious and unprofessional. Never again.

I requested a table near the water. Had a lovely quiet spot near the water with good views of the river. The staff were helpful, the food was fairly quick and delicious. I ordered the pork belly poke bowl and was beautiful. My dad ordered the spaghetti marinara and said it was the best he has had. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service. Couldn't quite commit to 5 stars as it wasn't a 5 star place but well worth it. Good prices too!

This is for hotel management... at 4:30 am this morning there was a loud couple staying in the room…read morenext to us. I am not using my cell phone so I didn't call management but instead I e-mailed them and reported it. No one responded. Then another couple started fighting above our room at 9 am and I was fed up and sleep deprived so I walked to the office and told the receptionist about my complaint. 1st couple on the first floor at 4:30 am was kicked out, thank goodness. But this 2nd couple staying on the 2nd floor is still fighting. The man has been verbally abusing the woman and management hasn't done anything about it yet. This is just wrong. Also I had to ask the receptionist if we could stay until noon because we're still tired and did not sleep well here. It's unfortunate because I asked her yesterday when we checked in if it's a quiet area and obviously she couldn't have predicted this but she should've pointed out that the walls are thin! Not coming back here. Spacious rooms but who cares when you want to rest and are able to hear other guests through the walls and ceiling.
