Located on the ground level, between Pono Gymnastics and I Mana Ka 'Ōiwi, and across from Aloha Card Shop, in the Ross Wing - this Kaneohe location of Kawaii Corner is just as cute, bright, clean, and spacious as the first (Pearlridge) location! Service is cheerful, friendly, helpful, and efficient! Merchandise is organized and plentiful! There's all kinds of Labubus, blind boxes, hair accessories, stationary, purses, backpacks, tote bags, Labubu outfits, Labubu accessories, and more! Come to the Windward side and get some of your own cuteness! Note: at 10am on Grand Opening Day (7.18.25), customers were treated to the Traditional Chinese Lion Dance which brings good luck, prosperity, and success to events such as weddings, Lunar New Year, Grand Openings of new businesses, etc.

If you spend $10 or more at a vendor's booth, you can get a stamp on the Loyalty Card. Five stamps from different vendors gets you an entry into the drawing for great prizes! Local small businesses were selling handmade greeting cards, keyring, crocheted plushies, clothing, tote bags, jewelry, and more! I'm looking forward to their next event!

FAKE KNOCK OFF PRODUCTS…read more I came here because it seemed cool and the wannabe influencers on socmed said it had good products. Boy were they wrong. Pretty much EVERY single thing in these stores are obvious or well-hidden fakes and knockoffs. Nothing is official. Everything is dropshipped. Before Aliexpress stopped shipping to Hawaii, you could get all of this stuff for literal pennies. It's just dropshipped garbage that they're trying to pass off as quality toys or collectibles. DO NOT support this business filling our islands with cheap and unsafe knock offs. If anything, go on Aliexpress or Temu to buy their products at 5% of the price they're asking for in this store. Disgusting and disgraceful

First, this is on base, so you do need base access, but you do not need to have military ID to make a purchase here. Now that the Trusted Traveler program has been reinstated as Honolulu moves into Tier 3, that can make it a little easier for non-military folks to get here if someone can sponsor you in the gate. This place is a more upscale alternative to the kinds of things you might find at the Stadium Swap Meet, ABC Stores, or similar. Great for gifts and home decor, similar to Soha Living. Not quite everything is locally made, but a significant proportion is. They carry a lot of my favorites - Nick Kuchar prints, Coco Moon for baby gifts, Bradley & Lily cards and notebooks, Pura Vida. The prices are what you'd pay anywhere else, and the money goes to support military-affiliated charities. They have some clothing, keiki stuff, holiday decor, jewelry, jams and jellies, kitchen/bar items, gifts. Hours are mostly mornings (9-1 many days), but they are also open Saturdays. They do close during Christmas/New Years, so keep that in mind if you need gifts. Parking is available right out front, and it's never been crowded when I've come.

The whole store is made up of Hawaiian themed merchandise. There were jewelry, cards, body care items and tons of clothes. They have some really cute items. My friend purchased a set of plastic flower beads to string together to make a necklace. What caught my eye that I really wanted was the sunrise shell necklace. I've always wanted one. The shell has the pink and yellow colors on it to mimic the sunrise. I'm contemplating on getting it as I've wanted one for a while.

I went in and out of the dressing rooms a few times while trying on outfits, and none of them had a basket or spot for purses. Each time I had to hang my handbag on a hanger with the clothes, since I refuse to put my handbag on the dirty ground. Finally, the very last dressing room I tried did have a basket at the bottom, which was much better. The clothing and jewelry are adorable -- some even look handmade -- and I did buy a few outfits and a cute pair of earrings. Prices are on the higher side, but the pieces are unique and eye-catching, so if you're looking for something different, it might be worth it. Unfortunately, checkout brought the experience down. Since I didn't need a bag, the sales associate handed me my clothes directly, but forgot my earrings. I didn't notice until I was halfway home. I tried looking everywhere for a phone number -- Yelp, the Ala Moana directory, the internet -- and couldn't find one. The only number I found just rang with no answer. So instead of calling, I had no choice but to drive all the way back through traffic. When I arrived, the sales associate saw me, handed me the earring, and said she was "going to text me." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience" -- nothing. Considering they have my number from the rewards program sign-up, that was disappointing. Overall, Sugar Sugar is a cute boutique with stylish pieces, but expect boutique pricing and limited dressing room amenities. The service could use improvement, especially when mistakes happen.

If you're on a budget, though, I'd recommend skipping this place and stopping by Walmart or Costco before heading to the airport. I'll be honest, it's more of a window-shopping experience for me.

Kai Ku Hale means "house on the gentle ocean at low tide." Owner Layne Larsen came up with it from one of her favorite things to do: walk the North Shore at low tide collecting shells, driftwood, sea glass and other things left behind by the ocean. She opened the store in 2008, originally thinking it would be an interior design business, but when the recession hit, she shifted it into a place that supported local artists. And once you know that, the store makes so much sense. I kept noticing recycled fabric, glass, driftwood and repurposed materials everywhere. Sustainability didn't feel like something added on for marketing. It felt baked into the place. The store now carries work from more than 50 island artists and makers, with a lot of pieces made from reclaimed, reused and recycled materials. And OMG the tchotchkes. So many things I could picture coming home with me. I bought nothing. Not because I wasn't tempted. I was VERY tempted. Expensive, yes. But this was one of my favorite stores to simply wander through in Haleʻiwa. And knowing the story behind the name made me like it even more.
