I've given them a Two Star rating as I believe some of the blame belongs to 1800Flowers.com as well. I was going to go through a long diatribe describing the specifics of my dissatisfaction, but I'd rather let the images do the talking. One note, this was a 1800Flowers.com "Same Day" purchase which was fulfilled by Imperial Florist. The first image was what was promised and the second image is what was received. I paid $84 for this plus a small box of lousy chocolates as a pick-me-up for my wife on a rather stressful day. I could have gotten the same roses from the corner gas station for a tenth what I paid. read more

A friend recommended Imperial Florists to provide flowers for my mother's urn. In this most difficult time, AnnMarie was so helpful and caring. She put my needs before her's and went out of her way to help me. This arrangement was simply exquisite and unique. The lush flowers - cala lillies, roses, hydrangea, baby's breath and others were fresh and vibrant and arranged artfully with fresh greens. AnnMarie also made me a small pillow for the grandkids of red and white baby roses with greens. So beautifully done. I highly recommend Imperial Florists. Honestly, i was completely shocked when I read the cards where the flowers came from for my fathers funeral. You should be embarrassed what was sent, I was. You have a huge business and are well known, I expected a lot more from you. The flowers were very scarce and wilted. If you were unable to fulfill the order you should have said so instead of giving us the left overs of another order. Also a few arrangements never even made it to the funeral home. Four of the seven arraignments that were ordered by family and friends were missing (on the funeral home website you can see what was ordered) this is disgraceful! I never write bad reviews but I would hate for another family to have to experience the disrespect my family and friends did. I don't even want to give you one star ! read more

I recently used Imperial Florist for my wedding flowers. Not only was Anne attentive to any of my smaller requests, she was able to guide me in a way that I would never have gone, and provided me with absolutely stunning bouquets for the entire wedding day. The arrangements were well constructed and stood up to the decent drive to the ceremony, but were so elegant I couldn't stop staring. After the wedding, we ended up taking home some of the centerpieces, and they lasted for WEEKS afterwards, serving as a constant reminder at how talented Imperial Florist is. The owner of Imperial is so attentive to all of her customers, giving them a special time to sit and discuss their needs if required, and works without having to follow up or push to make sure anything is completed on time. I used Imperial Florist for my wedding and was very much impressed. Ann Marie was able to create exactly what I envisioned while staying within my budget. When the cost was getting a little high, she was able to bring it back down by recommending some flowers that were similar, but a little less expensive. The bouquets and center pieces looked amazing AND lasted for a few WEEKS! Ann Marie is extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with, and highly recommended for any occasion! It should also be noted that I planned my wedding from Los Angeles and had very limited time in NY. Imperial was extremely flexible with when we met, and we were able to figure everything out via email and through two in-person meetings without any problems. read more

I have done business with imperial florist many times but this past Mother's Day I was cheated! This is simply how I feel. I ordered and paid for not the standard or deluxe but the premium arrangement. Total out of pocket $63 I could have given the the benefit of the doubt if they had simply sent a different arrangement but the sent me same looking but much less that half the size as the one they advertised. What compounds this situation is the fact that I called several times hoping to speak to the owner I was constantly told she is not in and the woman on the phone went as far as to suggest she would call the police and complain that they were being harassed. 1 star for Imperial and not another of my hard earned money. Would give 6 if I could. I called because this place was near a funeral home for a friend's father's service. I was literally on the phone for less than 5 minutes. It was definitely faster than using the internet to order. I just gave her the dollar range and described the situation. Imperial helped me write the card, walked me through my options, and then suggested the color scheme because i don't know what to order for a funeral. And when I got there they were sooo beautiful.
