They are now open on Saturdays and since my review last year our fur baby Lani has grown up and has a doggie sister Bradi whom was rescued and was being fostered by the CCC team. Bradi was found wandering the streets with a terrible injury to her neck and Dr. Michelle saved her. Sandi one of the vet techs raised the money to cover all costs. The team here doesn't get enough recognition for the work they do to help homeless fur babies get healthy again so they can find forever homes. We just went through the process to get our three fur babies checked up and certified so that they can travel. That involved an hour and a half appointment of tests, shots and examinations. Dr. Palminteri and team we're amazing with all three and their different personalities. We had to get ALOT of things together for our fur babies relocation and the ladies managing the office were amazing in helping us get our documents together and with answering our questions. It's been a struggle for the island to get back up and running again afteand the team here is operating like nothing happened. They are taking credit cards and are fully stocked within the pet store section with anything you could need. Also in stock are airline approved travel crates for check in, I know it's really hard right now to find on island. Two new features added this year were their new dog tag machine and full grooming services. It's around $70 per grooming appointment and they do everything. Bradi our longer haired dog loves her time with the groomer. We're sad to be leaving this awesome vet team but know that you and your fur babies are in very good hands here! #St.Thomas #USVI

Style a dog is a little pricey but they have a variety of the higher end dog foods, treats and lifestyle products for you and your fur babies. They had no hurricane damage and their credit card systems seems to be working but the very nice lady that runs the shop told us that sometimes it doesn't work (so have cash as a back up). Style a dog also runs a full grooming service in the back. We brought all three of our fur babies here this week for mani/pedis as walk-ins. I'm not sure of how you would schedule an appointment as the phone systems are down Island wide right now other than walk in but the team here was flexible and took all of our dogs immediately despite having other dogs in the kennels to groom that day. They have a great system of where you can drop your dog off at the beginning of the day and pick up before they close around 5pm. Our Lani girl is terrible with groomers, vets etc. she was so scared that she peed on the groomer but they were so nice about it and great with all of our fur babies. Grooming pricing is on the higher end but they are popular so it looks like they have a dedicated group of regulars. If you're coming into crown bay with your boat and have your fur baby with you this is an awesome place to re-stock on products or get a grooming session in!

It's weird because they claim to run a non profit but do not serm able to allow access to those services/ funds. while they people there are professional, expect to pay what is probably top dollar on the island. services, while good are not worth the fees charged, go to Animal Welfare Center and support their genuine efforts to help animals with owners no matter their budget. Unfortunately, they have monetized animal care to the detriment of anyone who can't pay the way for their animals.

When you drive down the streets of Vieques, you'll quickly notice two things. The horses grazing…read moreacross the island, and unfortunately, a large amount of stray dogs that would appear to be homeless. From visiting with the locals, the Vieques Humane Society is hard at work to provide spaying/neutering for these strays. They also have a program, which due to time constraints we weren't able to do, where people can go play with the rescue dogs on Friday afternoons. It's a nice win win - the dogs get to frolic around and have fun, and so do you! It's like a super short term fostering. They've got their work cut out for them for sure, but it's good to know that they're working hard. If you go to to Vieques, consider donating or donating some time with the pups.

Dr Hugo Cordova is hands down one of the best vets me and my boyfriend have encountered in the…read moreworld. We have travelled from Germany and have adopted a stray cat here in Puerto Rico. He had some problems such as ear mites and an unidentified illness that sometimes made him vomit, tired and inactive. The doctor and his team were extremely helpful, patient and knowledgable. Unlike other vets we have encountered before, Dr Hugo doesn't jump to conclusions to churn in/out patients. He examines very carefully before reaching a reasonable diagnosis - a true professional who does great work with passion. One of the things I thought was pretty cool was that Dr Hugo would sometimes refer our cat as "the patient". You could tell he respects the animalsI because usually vets just say "the cat" or "the dog" kind of emotionless-ly. We could see how much love and care he had for our cat Dusty and for other animals. With the doc's help, our cat Dusty has gone from having occasional vomiting, refusal to eat and prolonged fatigue, to a healthier cat with a proper digestive system with his joy and playfulness restored. We are so grateful for all his help and cannot recommend him more strongly to anyone who loves their pet(s). Thanks again!
