The general seating on the visitor's side was rather uncomfortable. Nevertheless, we had a great view of the field. I didn't like how small their video board was. If you have a question, the people of the department are generally able to give you what you need. The professors I have had have all been pretty good and knowledgeable. Just be smart and use RateMyProfessor to get the better ones. The facilities of the school vary, from very nice and modern to slightly rundown and outdated. I would say the better areas, the library, UCC, bookstore, and various academic buildings, outnumber the aging ones though. Overall it's a fairly lovely campus with lots of trees, which I'm told is good, and lots of people, weird people that talk to themselves. I'm not sure if this is just a UWG phenomenon or what but seriously if I had a nickel...anyway. If you're considering this school, go for it. It's pretty much a few steps above mediocre which is good, and the price is pretty manageable if you procure scholarships and whatnot. But if you ask this Alaskan Native American Mormon Red-headed left-handed, it's alright.

She picked up the phone and said "hello, how can I help you?" I introduced myself and began explaining that I wanted to transfer from my current college and she cut me off right after I said "transfer" to say "hold on" and there was a moment of silence. She then came back and said "transfer where?" And when I said "to Columbus State.." she proceeded to transfer me to an automated system with no explanation. I don't even know who she was trying to transfer me to because they never picked up the phone. This is incredibly rude and I wish I could report this woman!

My review is about the look of the campus and the graduation. The campus was very clean and green. They had it whole graduation planned out really well. There were police officers directing you where to go. And then they had a shuttle that would pick you up and drop you off at the graduation building. They only had a few schools graduating at our daughters 3:30 pm graduation. They evidently had a later graduation and a Saturday graduation for other schools of study. It really cuts down on the length of the event and the traffic getting in and out of the college. I thought this was very smart. It was quick and efficient. The graduation was less than an hour long.
