Plus Thunderbird serves as a good supporting steel coaster for when you get tired of the wooden coasters, and Good Gravy, while it is not as thrilling as the rest of the coasters as it is intended for the younger set, makes up for its lack of thrills with a very kitschy indoor queue themed to a grandmother's house. And don't skip the water park. The water park, Splashin Safari, is better than the widely lauded Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, at least in terms of water coasters, and the lines are much shorter, so you can actually enjoy the water coasters without buying a fast pass, which cannot be said of Schiltterbahn. Additionally, the park some charming flats for when you want thrills from something other than a coaster, including the rare Hrubetz Round-Up, which doesn't give you a seat, but has you stand against the wall and relies on centripetal forces to keep you in place. Plus there are a bunch of things this park offers its guests for free, like free parking, free drink refills, and free sunscreen that you have to pay for at other parks that make the Holiday World experience so much nicer, even if you're not a passholder. All this is complemented by some charming theming centered around the major holidays, namely Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, as well as the major holiday of the summer, Independence Day. And if all these holiday goodness has you hankering for a grand holiday dinner, Holiday World has just the place in Plymouth Rock Cafe. This restaurant serves a Thanksgiving turkey dinner, along with some other meats with all the fixings, that is as hearty as the one you get at home. And, despite being in an amusement park, the pricing is in line for a holiday dinner at a restaurant outside of an amusement park. However, I do wished they also served the meat of Christmas dinner, ham, alongside turkey. The only knock I have on Holiday World is I find it terribly ironic, given their Thanksgiving and Christmas theming, that Holiday World is not open for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. While such an event would need to preclude Splashin Safari due to cold temperatures, I would love to come when the weather fits the holiday atmosphere, even if it means needing to bundle up, both to see how a park themed to Christmas can look at night, and to get a lot more night rides in when the sun sets around 5pm instead of 9pm. But until then, the wonderful slice of Christmas in July that Holiday World provides will more than suffice.

Near the splashing safari, we were so confused. My poor disabled mother walked around the whole water park twice just trying to find the seating area, where we were parked. Now for the two really big issues, that ruined our trip and the overall vibe. Riding the jungle racers, I caught some air. I happen to look down after getting up and noticed red all over my arm. Thinking it was soda, I wiped it off. Nope! It was my blood. The slide put a pretty nasty gash in my elbow. So, I make it over to the first aid room. Blood pouring down my arm, they had no interest in talking to me very much. They only gave me a bandaid and sent me on my way. Nothing to clean to the blood or even a butterfly just to close the wound. It ended up so bad that it was still bleeding by the end of the day. So luckily, I had a first aid kit in my car and did my own first aid. (It's still bleeding days later and now needs stiches) I also hurt my ankle pretty bad. Immediately, from leaving the first aid room, we're looking for anywhere to sit down and cool off, trying to make it to the water show later. I'm not even really thinking at this point. All of sudden, I hear a lady CHASING us down to let me know I have to change clothes. Keep in mind, I'm in a high waisted bathing suit that are like shorts anyways. She also told my sister to cover up, but Beth (another team member) then said, no it's fine actually. Right in front of us, was a girl in a thong pushing her stroller. Nothing was said to her and nothing was said to the girl vaping right in front Beth's face. I let her know, that it's really weird because I see other people walking out in bathing suits and I was allowed to come in, in a bathing suit. Beth starts to get very rude with us and says we should have been stopped at the gates upfront and "there's signs right in front of your face". I got changed, as soon as we got past her, we see multiple women with no pants on, showing their bathing suit bikini pants, kids running around in diapers, etc. So really weird, that some people are coming just for the water park and we apparently can't wear our bathing suits. Not to mention, the fact that I was the only one talked too IN A BATHING SUIT WITH SHORTS. I also am not sure, why Beth and this girl who was with her just get to pick and choose, who needs to change. Clearly, they're picking and choosing, because I seen plenty of people showing their bathing suit bottoms in more revealing clothes than I was in, then they're not even following the same set of rules because they backtracked. For the price we pay, you think we would be able to go to the park without being yelled at and embarrassed. Which is totally understandable that there are signs, but 1. I wasn't paying attention right that second coming out of first aid, and 2. The signs don't matter when your team picks and chooses who has to follow the rules. After that, we move on to the marvelous nook show. We stop at one oasis close, here comes Beth watching us. We move up farther to the shop in Halloween town, here she is again following us, staring at us. Followed us all the way to the marvelous nook show where she watched us for a minute then left. To be harassed over something so little and then followed is wild. Like I promise, I didnt re put on my bathing suit, but I guess she felt the need to check. Keep in mind, there were once again women at the show wearing full on bathing suits and showing their legs. I work in a large hospitality facility too, usually the rule has to be followed by everyone to fight discrimination, but okay. Keep in mind, around 1 we went to leave and grab our bathing suits from the car. Coming back, there was no security out front checking bags. Just one person monitoring the gate. So, as a paying customer, this made me feel like you cared more about my bathing suit, then the actual well-being and safety of your guests. We won't be back.

My wife loves the roller coasters and they apparently have some good ones. The 5D movie theater is fun too. It's indoors, has moving chairs and effects like wind and vibrations. It was well received by all our kids. In the summer The water park is super awesome and huge. There are a hand full of places to eat and for the most part they are all the same quality - amusement park food and prices. Great place to spend time with your family or friends.

It was originally built in 1995 that has top speeds of 49 mph and reaches heights of 101 ft. The track length is 2,172 ft. Height requirements are min of 52 inches and max of 79 inches. Growing up in Louisville Kentucky kingdom was a big part of my childhood. I had season passes as early as I can remember and T3 being built 1995 I was around 11 years old when this ride debuted. I can remember being really excited for it when it came out. A roller coaster that does flips and your feet dangle? I was sold from day one. Overall it was a fun ride then and a fun ride now. Has solid speed, fun loops and brings some nostalgic feelings to me personally. I'm really glad that when Kentucky kingdom reopened after being shut down that they kept this ride here.

T3 is more or less known as a Vekoma SLC pretty much the most hated coaster amongst coaster enthusiasts as it's known for bashing your head back and forth between the restraints leaving you with a splitting headache but that's not the case here! This Vekoma SLC has over the shoulder straps connected to a lap bar so it takes away from that head bashing that we all love soo much that element alone is something I haven't found on any other Vekoma SLC in the United States! T3 has a super fun layout and it's a good coaster for the type that it is with just the restraints alone it's definitely in my opinion the best SLC out there as it has gotten rid of the head pain! Overall i don't think I've said this before about this type of coaster but I'll definitely look forward to my next ride on T3 because it's just that awesome!

Xtremenasium Trampoline Park is fine for doing all of those things that kids love to do. The admission fee grants you unlimited access to everything for one hour, which was more than enough time for my kids. Honestly, I'm glad they limited it to one hour, because then I didn't have to be the bad guy and drag them away from their fun. It was more like, "Oh no! We have to leave! Our one hour is done! Xtremenasium said we have to go!" It's Xtremenasium's fault, see? Not mine. The whole thing was too stimulating for me, and I was ready to leave after about 10 minutes. But our visit to this trampoline park wasn't about me. It was about my kids, and taking them to a place that was fun for them, so nevertheless, I persisted. I ignored the crowds and screaming and lack of fresh air, as you do at these places. But the reason for the three stars is that all of those stimulating things seemed a tad more amplified here, and everything I touched was just a touch grimier than it should have been. I don't know -- your mileage may vary, depending on how high-strung you are. In the end, Xtremenasium served its purpose. My kids were here to bounce and play and leave sweaty, and they did and had a good time.

We got a couple of scratch off tickets for Buy 3, get 3. That's a $12 savings. Courses are simple enough for any age. They ask you play in groups of 4 to keep the pace moving. They loved the carousel, elephant ride, boat ride, and the whip. The train is so sweet, and I love that kids and adults can ride it.
