Delayed update-- We bought a 4th and 5th bike from Pro Bike…read moreand Run. The bikes (Cannondale) are great! The staff helped find the appropriate sized bike for our older child who had outgrown his prior bike--and let us know the model he picked was on sale as well! Woot woot! Of course the younger child fell in love with a PINK bike (with the PINK tax--not on sale, and no she didn't want the color that was on sale) and had to have it. So we ended up getting 2 bikes instead of one. As per usual, these folks were super professional and Helpful. You know how some sales folks try to upsell stuff? None of that here. They asked what we needed and helped us find it. Road bike? Trail bike? Kiddie bike? PINK bike? They helped us get the correct sizes and from other locations if needed. In the interim, between purchases, we had a kick stand issue, which they easily fixed. My bike fell off the carrier and was dragged while the car was in motion-so we took it in for repair. Assorted other minor issues. Any issues that came up soon after purchase were taken care of for free. Other issues were taken care of at a reasonable price. Quality products which have longevity. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Zero sales pressure-the equipment sells itself. Highly Recommend

Walked in to get measured and fitted for new running shoes. Hadn't done it in years, so didn't know…read morewhat to expect. Stewart helped me right away and was very patient with me as I tried on probably 20 pairs of shoes to find a unicorn. i found out I was wearing completely the wrong shoe for my stride. It was great to talk to someone who also is passionate about running. Hooked me up with a pair of Hokas, which I had never tried personally. The difference with the stability has been night and day. I've taken a minute off each mile with the change of shoe and inserts suggested. I will be back to run some of the Thursday night park runs. 10/10 experience.

I received a response regarding my feedback of my March 2023 online purchase. I received two left…read moreshoes instead of the left and right I should have. This purchase/refund of snowballed into realizing the severe state of failure that DicksSportingGoods is in at the current time. The penned response was obviously written with guidelines that must've come from a very prosthetic source. This person also used pronouns with their signature which shows me that Dick's is political and the company probably must support the left side. I do not support nor want to hear or read anything regarding politics when I am spending my hard earned heavily taxed dollars. The long and short of my experience, which will go on the Dicks website, as well as yelp is that Dick's Sporting Goods purchased Chick's sporting goods. Chicks was a high end, customized, and heavily customer service oriented business. Their hard-working employees (which most of were athletes and worked in the department of the sport they played) did not pass the buck, and they truly (from their hearts), cared about the goals and needs of their customers/fellow athletes. I believe that Dick's is the classic fool-company of some rich lazy person whom believed that they could ride off the coattails of hard-working American athletes by replacing them with the lowest paid person off the street. Think again! I would make a bet in Vegas that dicks will fold in the next five years due to sheer LAZINESS!

The next bike app is 24 MB, so you may want to download it in advance and complete your registration. They will charge $1 to your credit card which is later refunded. Once you enter the bike ID you wish to rent on your app, a code is texted to your phone that you can use to release the bike. One beauty of the process is that you can return the bike to any of 50 locations. There's an app feature that helps you locate the nearest drop-off. The app is clunky, at least in it's Android version, but it does make a fairly complicated process quite manageble. The seats on the bikes are as adjustable, and the bikes are much easier to ride than I expected.

Unlike others, I got us…read moresigned up ok, but it did take me a while to figure out the App name vs. the bike rental, but once I found the app and downloaded it, sign up went pretty smooth. The bikes themselves though felt quite unstable to me. The handlebars are too high or too out front making the front wheel feel not quite in control. (We've rented share bikes in lots of other cities, these were the worst.) I felt like every time I got on and tried to get going there was a lot of initial unstableness. At one station we accidentally tried to unlock a bike that was out of service, user error, we didn't notice the small flashing red 'out of service' light, since we were new to this rental company. But it let us pick the bike and gave us a PIN #, but then wouldn't unlock because it was broken. Why in the world do they even let you rent a broken bike? We then unlocked a working one, and took off. Of course we now had 3 bikes ticking down and we couldn't get the broken one to cancel. I had to call customer service and explain what happened and they were very nice and removed it from our account and cancelled the charge. But who likes calling customer service? Not me. Anyways - I appreciate the fact that there were / are bikes to rent, the price was good, and I liked that the lock on the wheel means you don't have to dock it. That's a cool option. It was a quicker / decent way to get around the city for short jaunts and meant we saw more then we would on foot. It just seems they could get better quality / more stable bikes, and fix the broken ones, or at the very least, change their system so you can't accidentally rent a broken bike. Finally, saw a lot of stations that had 0 to a few bikes, but then at one point saw a van re-distributing bikes to empty stations, so they're trying. I guess a wobbly bike is better then no bike!
