Truly, my favorite place to go and get a plate of Haitian food. it's fair priced and if you go at the right time it's fresh. Don't go too late. The place closes pretty early. There is seating to sit if you want to stay and eat but honestly, I just get this to go. It's really best that way. the seating is nothing fancy, its convenient if you need it, but. The staff is great. If you go, you must try their sous pwa. I don't even like sous pwa. I've hated it forever. But here , I like it. I don't know what they put in it. It's good. This is a wonderful Bakery that I come to from time to time. I enjoy the Haitian Patties, primarily the chicken patty. I also come here to purchase the fresh Haitian Bread that's only about $3. Being that I'm Haitian American, it's always a pleasure to come here and interact with the Haitian employees. Whenever I come here, there's usually not a long line. I noticed that they do sell actually Haitian meals as well which I haven't tried yet. When I do, I will certainly order the Legume with white rice and vegetables or a side salad. 10's ACROSS THE BOARD! Oh how happy I am that my friend decided to stop in this restaurant! It was supposed to be a simple grab and go situation with two patties. But, the food looked so tempting. For starters the server was so pleasant, very welcoming, laughing and making jokes. I appreciate her. Secondly, the amount of food that she was able to fit inside of the pan for the price is UNMATCHED! My friend ordered black rice, stewed chicken, legume. It also it came with plantain and Pikliz. I ordered black rice, legume and fried turkey and she threw in some Mac n cheese with pikliz. Each plate was $14!!!!! Talk about my belly being full to capacity and then still having some food to take home, incredible! Not to mention I came here on a Sunday and most people were getting food to go but some stayed and dined in like myself. There was a Konpa DJ playing on the TV giving good vibes that afternoon. If you're looking for a no frills, authentic Haitian spot.. look no further. This is a restaurant where you can still get $1.50 patties plus a full meal. I've actually only tried the patties but based on the dough & filling, I can tell this was made by a Haitian auntie/gma for sure. It's also authentic in the way the staff act like you're inconveniencing them by coming in, which is a Caribbean staple haha When I came in on a Tuesday afternoon, they only had beef and fish patties but it was a holiday so maybe they have more options on other days? They treated me like family it was like stepping into your grandparents' kitchen. Great hospitality, that's what you expected from an authentic Haitian bakery. I got a dozen and they gave me a mixed variety which I appreciated. Also had the Haitian lemonade- if you never had it, its very sweet and has a large amount of vanilla. The patties were fresh and very flaky. The one I am accustomed to from upstate NY are less doughy but these are great nonetheless. Food is ok, when you buy the large sizes they pretend to be putting food then they dropped most of it back and you end up having less food for the money you paid. There's one person taking the order, get the food then taking payment, there could be 2 people in front of you and you spend 30-45minutes waiting. I went a few times that's always the case. This place snapped! Walking in last week for my occasional chicken patty was like walking into a completely different restaurant. More of everything: tables and chairs, workers, customers, and - most importantly - whole entrees of hot food! You can get a heaping of Haitian staples for $8. Rice, beans, stews/sauces, fried meats, sausages, fried plantains, salad, and spiced/pickled cabbage. There are also other bakery items and drinks. Service is somewhat slow for a place where the food is ready and not made to order. All in all, this is a great addition to the hood. As the second location, Immaculee knows what it's doing. I did search for Brooklyn's best Haitian patties and this came up on the list. My husband has family in that neighborhood so I asked him to get me a few cod fish patties. The patty is more crust than filling which was very disappointing. Although the crust is flaky and buttery- all you are experiencing is the crust. Not the filling. I love this place... This is my go-to spot for some really good and quality haitian food. The servers are very sweet and nice older ladies, they get my order right and they speak to me very nicely. I especially like it when they call me "Cheri" and it makes me feel comfortable when ordering. The patties are soo good and they give you a good amount of food for your money. I was with a friend who wanted Haitian food which I am not a huge fan of but I am flexible. We stopped here late one evening for some food to go and the decor wasnt the best. They had a few chairs but I really couldnt envision anyone actually sitting down to eat. The food was behind a glass cover in a buffet style like setting. I tried just about everything they had for $10 except the fish. I had the sausages, rice and beans, chicken, plantains and pork and everything was delicious. Every Haitian person has their favorite bakery to go for pate (please dont call these patty/patties as these have nothing to do with Jamaican patties. Just cause there is meat surrounded by a starch doesnt mean its the same. Chinese have roast pork buns but aint nobody calling these pastries Haitian pork buns... but I digress). As you can see we get very passionate about our pate. At a Haitian get together people can get very outspoken about the key qualities of perfect pate as well as which bakery gets the title of maker of the perfect pate. That being said Im pretty picky about my pate. And I have been on the search for the perfect pate since moving to NYC more than 8 years ago. These are good Haitian pates. I have been going here at least 5 years. These are not the best I have ever had in a lifetime of eating pates. But if you want a consistent and reliable treat this is a great place to go. The standout here is the flaky crust in all its buttery flaky goodness. The reason that the pate doesnt get higher rating from me is I think the dough to meat ratio is too high. That is too much puff pastry for the amount of meat. The meat is always well seasoned with a tiny kick from hot pepper. I always order the beef pate or the codfish as I find the chicken underwhelming. The staff are nice. And the value of bakery items and food is amazing. Dont forget to order food too. Also pretty good Haitian food on a steam table: grillot (fried pork chunks), dende/poulet en sauce (turkey or chicken in sauce), riz ak pois (rice and beans), riz djon djon (special black mushroom rice), bananes pessees (plaintains), legumes (both the simple kind with carrots and cabbage as well as the kind thats a mix of meat with eggplant, chayote or other vegetables) are all great. If you like spice ask for pikliz which is pickled cabbage, carrots and habanero or other pepper to add an extra kick to your yummy meal. Whats on the menu changes daily so check in - not everything is available everyday but be prepared for a tasty surprise. read more

This is a good place for fritay, which is essentially Haitian street food, such as griot (marinated fried and the roasted pork), accra (malanga fritters with hot pepper), sausages, fried plantains and more. There is a steam table behind glass where you can see everything there is to order and when it is busy, fresh food is constantly resupplied from the kitchen. The Haitian style rice and beans is perfect and very consistent and don't forget a fish or meat patty, they are always fresh with a nice flaky dough. Hint: if you don't like the fatty parts of the fried pork, ask for pieces without it. Many people like the fat, as is very flavorful, but they make sure that you get leaner pieces if you ask. If you go for take out, it is best to eat the fried plaintains on the way as that kind of food just doesn't travel well. read more
