The process isn't without its hiccups; no mankind has ever built a home without hiccups. Though minor, they were promptly dealt with in a professional manner, because they genuinely care. We've grown into our home with more rambunctious kids now for some time, stress tested it for a handful of years, and can say it's been an absolute joy living in a Duke built home. But seriously, we see homes all the time that took the easy way out -- cheap products, shortcuts in the process, corners cut where you can't see them yet but you will. Thanks to Duke Building, I can stand tall and proud as I arrive home every day knowing that what's behind the walls is just as solid as what you see in front of you. No mysteries. They used a matte ceiling paint to touch up my already painted semi gloss trim and doors. I pointed it out and they still didn't fix it. They got paint on light fixtures, outlets, and on my flooring, both carpet and hard surface. They dragged a 2 to 3 day job over a whole week period because they would only work 2-3 hours a day. They charged me by the hour, I kept track of their hours and they overcharged me by 6 hours. When I asked them to fix the missed and messed up areas he yelled at me until I was in tears. five days after they left they threatened to take us to court because we hadn't paid them yet. My husband only paid them because they knew where we lived and was worried they would come back. Save your time and money, and do not hire them!
