Great late night stop for a bite to eat. Burgers are good, and great fries. My husband loves getting the Egg Burger. I love getting the special currywurst here for a quick snack. There aren't any seats here, so prepared to stand. There are lots of standing tables inside and a couple of them outside. Also, only about 3 parking spaces if you're driving here! This place is either a grab and go or you can eat at the same standing tables. Ordered the Saigon Burger, which has banana and sprinkled with curry. It was different and maybe too exotic for me. Challenge was that I couldn't decipher all the ingredients on the menu board and the woman behind the counter didn't speak a lot of English. Fries were crispy and had to make a special request for mustard versus mayo. I'll probably go back and just order a basic burger. No alcohol served and they don't take credit cards. read more

Good eats at a discount price. Most restaurants are 2-3 times more expensive in this area. The food is made to order and delicious. We had the currywurst and egg burgers. The girls were extremely kind and spoke English well. read more

We were on our way to Kelly Barracks in Stuttgart and we passed by this burger stand in a small town right off the autobahn. We decided to give it a try. It's a small place. There's no real parking lot but there are a few spots on the side of the building. Walk in the front door and past the small eating area and order at the window style counter. There was one guy working there, taking orders and cooking. I like the idea of ordering from the same person that's going to prepare my food. They have quite a few different sandwich options on the menu. I went with the traditional burger, fixings and a Coke (there's something intangible about ordering a Coke while in another country). I don't speak much German but didn't have a problem ordering. The food was cooked when ordered so it was a short wait. We stood at one of the tall tables they have for you to eat-and-go. They recently redid the Imbiss Inn, so it looks a lot cleaner and more modern than it used to, but it is still small and with only standing tables (no seats to be had). It only has off-street parking for about three cars, but it seems to be more of a late-night hangout for younger folks after they see a movie at the SI Centrum theater anyways, and there is some street parking around. The menu is limited in the sense that pretty much everything either comes on a hamburger bun or is a wurst of some sort. That said, they've got probably three dozen burger and "burger" options, including things like a double bacon-and-fried-egg burger, which has two fried eggs and two layers of bacon instead of a hamburger patty. I went with the currywurst instead though, which was perfectly fine, and cheap. One nice touch is that if you don't get a side of fries they put a small sourdough-like roll on your plate to go with the sausage, which means you're not literally having an all-sausage meal. Overall a good place to grab a snack or a late-night bite, but it's basically fast food not a full service restaurant. read more

I moved to Stuttgart a few months ago. While we were moving in, someone recommended this burger joint. It's a small joint on the outskirts of a small village (Möhringen). If you don't know it's there you would miss it. As far as burgers go, it's ok. It is truly just ok. They have a lot of choices with mostly normal toppings but a few strange ones too for the more adventurous type. The reality is that not matter how much you dress up low quality beef it still tastes low quality. I would however recommend it in a pinch. If you don't want to spend a hour or two dealing with German waitstaff and need a quick meal this is the right place for you. read more
