Getting set up and running was just about as smooth as it gets! Since I was born in the 1950's my understanding of this is, um, weak. I can update it easily and it looks great. I was at a continuing education seminar and my EMR vendor was there. I needed some help with patient records availability online. (All for meaningful use attestation.) I spent a ridiculous amount on their service. Ostensibly, they did what they were contracted to do, but the results have been worse than bad. With my new site up and running for about 6 months, I have received 1 (ONE) patient from my supposedly SEO optimized site. I was getting more response before they optimized it. I have reported the poor results several times, and can't get anyone to call me back execept the low level check-in person who was appropriately sympathetic, and told me a manager would contact me. I am so unhappy with this company. I am a solo veterinarian and have been working with this company since 2017 - going on 6 years now. The customer service has been so terrible I feel I should warn other veterinarians about using this service. The last 3 edits I requested have taken 10 plus days. One of them I requested 12 days ago and I have heard NOTHING. The edit I needed in all of these last three cases where mistakes THEY made. They removed the photo from my home page and I can't get them to add it back. They also linked my instagram to some account that only is in Spanish. This was the most recent one I am still waiting on. Before that, they removed content and added content without notifying me. This content erroneously stated that I do emergency work (I don't), I offer discounts (nope), I work on species that I do not even work on, and had language that in no way reflects I am a house call veterinarian. I made so. many. phone calls. So many. I could not get this egregious error changed for weeks. When a supervisor called me back - knowing I was upset - he knew nothing about my business. I was so disappointed that no one knew me. At all. 6 years of paying month after month for a subpar website, with many errors, that no one is interested in helping me out with. They were less horrible in 2017 but the decline has been a deep descent. I would not recommend them to anyone. There are so many more companies out there that would give you someone to manage your account and actually take the time to know who you are. They put on pictures of OTHER doctors and fake patients -- all violations of fair advertising practices making the site unusable. Time and time again, they showed unable or unwilling to make changes. The final time we asked for help, I was berated by their representative in a fashion that I have never experienced in 20 years of business. and told that I was going "to have to talk to their lawyers!" Ironically the guy on the other line didn't realize that I am a practicing attorney (I help my wife with her practice). So when I asked to get transferred to them or if they are outside counsel the line went silent and he hung up on me. I called back 3 time and he refused to answer the phone. I emailed with no response. Then, after our original deal was $99/mo, that next day they charge our credit card $600!! Talk about shady practices. We since have gotten nasty-grams from them demanding payment. And no usable site. I have submitted a complaint to the BBB that is now pending. If you are thinking of using their services be sure and ask to speak with others using the same level of servie youare considering. I did not do this at the beginning and when I inquired after getting little to know meazurable reuslts, they flat our refused. Apparently they do not feel comfortable sharing . I have been using iMatrix (Vetmatrix) for website hosting. I did most of my own SEO, blog and social media content, etc. Fast forward about a year, i have a one year-old and need some help and sign up for their "Dominator" package. This includes website content, blog content (two monthly), SEO, $300 pay-per-click monthly allotment/managed, and social media content. Going into the dominator service my standings for most relevant veterinary terms was good however more general veterinary terms needed help. What I found is that their website and blog content was basically garbage. They are over-zealously stuffing keywords and each entry had terrible grammar and needed multiple edits. Social media posts were even worse in that they continued with an onslaught of animal-specific posts even though we specialize NOT in that type of animal. The blog posts were often just two paragraphs and were of no substance. Just an advertisement and more keyword stuffing. Worse yet, the blog posts were SO bad that even after i cancelled and they kept posting them, I still had to keep deleting the really bad ones that were filed with general crap about feline health. Interestingly, midway through things, I started doing my own SEO and forced google re-indexes after specific keywords had started to plummet in standing.--I saw pretty instant boosts by simple changes and removing their stuffing. PPC was quite visible in the first few months however we saw dramatic decreases in client traffic the last two months and when I started monitoring PPC ad presence I was finding the ads were not running. I started checking at all and odd hours of the day and found the ads weren't just spending out early, they just weren't around. Ironically, after I cancelled the ads popped back up a few weeks later. I had my own ad campaigns running at the time (so I could tell what they were bidding) and their bid campaign was bidding $20 plus for garbage keywords. Here's a hint, you don't bid high money for keywords that include "cost" when you don't list costs on your website. This tells me the PPC campaigns were definitively NOT being managed actively or properly. In summary, any gains had by their Dominator service tapered within months. The constant onslaught of dog content to my cat hospital's website was embarassing and caused questions by clients. Trying to get the service cancelled meant e-mailing five people then double-checking with five more. I'm still pretty certain that I was billed for yet another month but at this point, I'm glad to be free of the dominator service. I can now take that money and roll it into other ad venues which I have started to see great return on. In truth, I still don't have a ton a time for social media management or website SEO but setting aside an hour a day to tweak a page, or work on content seems to be working. Final Summary: Stay the heck away from anything besides basic website hosting and template-driving edits. Hire a freelancer or better yet read a bit and do it yourself. Horrible! I had these guys for a few years and finally decided to make a change due to the excessive fees and poor quality of their service. After calling and terminating, having the domain changed, and a new company take over I noticed that iMatrix was still auto-debiting my business account. When calling to ask that the charges be refunded, the representative said that the paperwork must have never been filed to terminate (their mistake) even though they had preformed no service in those months. He even had the date I called to terminate and transfer the domain. He actually compared the fee to a gym membership and just because I wasn't using them any more they could still charge me. I was simply asking for a refund of the months that should have never been charged. He was very disrespectful, and in the end I had to get my bank to block any further activity and try to get the money refunded. As a single doctor practice the hours that it required to handle this issue cost me more valuable time, and money than the simple refund. If they are "like a gym" maybe they should try that instead of impersonating a web design company. read more

I wrote them a letter canceling for breach of contract months ago. They refused to put in original content and instead kept rewriting what I wrote. They told me that when they rewrite something I already wrote that is considered original content on google. They did no SEO on the back end, they would go back in change articles and delete the metatags. They are lazy and liars. My website went from page one to page 4 on google. The website always looks sloppy. They are constantly deleting what I wrote and writing unintelligible rubbish. They never check their work and leave blatant mistakes on the pages. They had assured me that they wouldn't change any content without my approval. Yet they keep taking my content down and putting things on the website that I asked them specifically not to. Advertising did not drive any true increase in traffic and our Google ranking didn't really improve. The content they provided for our website was useless, the promised blog posts never materialized. Virtually nothing was done for our social media accounts. For over $1000 a month, much more should have been done for our account. As he looked at my website he found out that iMatrix didn't set up my website SEO, no directory listing, no h1 and h2 tags and some pages had 100% duplicate content. $9000 and zero new patients later, I'm asking for my money back. There are a lot of internet marketing companies out there to choose from. As a Chiropractor, there are countless choices with at least 4 big companies in our profession. Imatrix is one of the industry leaders. As a chiropractor of almost 18 years, I have been on the internet with a website, etc. for almost 14 and initially I went with another company. Their customer service became horrible and after 3 years, I switched to imatrix. Since 2008, their service has been excellent for me. I continue to utilize their full menu of services they offer. I also tell Chiropractors to use them as much as possible. They are consistent with helping me post blogs, press releases, Google Ad words, Facebook and Twitter posts, newsletters. I send birthday greetings to my patients as well as personal newsletters of events and happenings in my office. I have never found any issues with their phone staff or their customer service. There have been a few email outages here and there, but who doesn't have that stuff happen. Call them up and talk to one of the reps. They will be honest and tell you how they can help you. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. Our excitement to hop on to iMatrix to revise our website turned out to be a big disappointment. The sales generating page which is the most critical page in our website did not work since we started live. This went on for four weeks and we have lost a lot of sales in the process. I have been calling and sending follow-up emails to their support and onboarding teams and would not hear back from any of them at all. I would have to call them over and over again to get an update. Before the switch, I made sure from their salesperson that they would load our original website back should we decide to cancel their service and I was given an assurance that they will load the old website back. Fast forward 4 weeks and still our sales generating page is not working and so I decided to cancel. SURPRISE!!! SURPRISE!!! Cynthia, one of the support team said they have no capability to load the old website. After losing sales for 4 weeks, I have to spend more money to rebuild the old website. I believe a full refund is fair since the sales generating page in our website did not work at all, but NO, Cynthia was saying that we can only get a partial refund since part of the services was rendered - yes they did, they put generic postings in our social media pages which are not even related to our business and created more confusion to our customers. I have to keep deleting them myself. Cynthia has different stories every time we speak. One time she said she'll give a full refund, next time you talk to her she has a different story. Instead of bringing more traffic to our website like what they promised, we have lost a lot of sales in the process. I should have checked VetMatrix'/IMatrix' social media pages before I have decided to move forward with them. They have a Total 17 Reviews in BBB which are ALL COMPLAINTS. NO POSITIVE REVIEWS at all. I should have known better. I do not recommend going thru this company. A freelancer would be better and cheaper. read more

So far so good with iMatrix! I started work with iMatrix about 2 months ago to completely redesign a dental office website. The implementation, execution, and follow up was phenomenal. The team knows customer service, and their backend tool is easy and intuitive. We're about 90% complete, with additional work needing to be done for SEO, Social Media, and some features I want added to the site. If all goes well with that implementation, I'll add that coveted 5th star :) read more

Let me begin by saying that I have refrained for several weeks from writing this review in hopes that someone from IMatrix would address our experience thus far, but that has not happened. Every time I actually do speak to someone, which is rare, I am told that a manager will call me, which doesn't happen or they have to review what happened and then get back to me, which still doesn't happen. Needless to say the customer service is non-existent and extremely poor. We were sold on the Premiuim Service and haven't received anything close to that. Our first account manager gave us a go live date for our website which was not met, then we find out that he left the company. We had to call the company to let them know we didn't have an account manager and wait for one to be assigned. This was over more than two weeks time from when our go live date was supposed to happen. After that all of the conversations, work and communication we had with our previous account manager was gone and had to start over with a new person. We were told by our new account manager that we would receive a call from her boss, when I asked for someone to address this issue but never received a call. I asked again and still no call back. The third time we complained to our new account manager we finally heard from her boss and told him we were going to cancel. He promised to make it up to us by adding two additional hours of content and finishing some other requests that were made. We never revived the additional content as promised and the page that we requested to be completed was not completed like we asked. I could go on and on about my experience because this is just part of it. All of this could have been avoided if someone would've taken responsibility for dropping the ball and continually lying by making promises that weren't kept. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone unless you're looking to waste money, time, energy, and effort. read more

I was a ChiroMatrix customer for years. I stuck in through many ups and downs. The service steadily went down hill. Site edits took longer to get and were constantly inaccurate. I spent many hours continually proofreading and resubmitting the same page corrections every time I wanted to add or make a small change to my copy. Having used a few different web hosting companies over the last 25 years, I would rate CM toward the bottom of the bucket. After several years with them, I opened a satellite practice and had them set up a second website for me. I didn't need anything that complicated but they scrambled BOTH my sites. I was pretty desperate for competence so I looked for a new web hosting company. CM refused to let me break my contract on the new site despite my long history of being a committed paying customer. And despite the numerous recorded complaints, back and forth calls, emails, and screen shares to get my sites functional and accurate. It was a waste of hours that never got me an acceptable end product. Instead, the sites for both my practices ended up a wreck. If you didn't catch my warning yet, I suggest you pick almost any company other than these guys. read more

They lack organization, lack development skills and over the course of 12 months continued to lack customer service in resolving our issues and actually building a quality website. They may have a great sales pitch and the ability to integrate into multiple compliance related items, but, their lack of desire to take care of the customer and produce a high-quality product doesn't make up for the integrations. Unfortunately there were too many problems to list here...their social media package is an absolute ripoff. They make 2 posts to Facebook (& same ones to twitter) & 1 to google plus per week & that's it! And the posts were not engaging & not helpful at all to my industry. I had to delete most of them. They also don't install any "make appt" apps, etc. to customize your Facebook page. They promised a refund of my initial investment on 2/24/14 & I still have not received it (4/1/14) after numerous attempts on my part. I would definitely not recommend imatrix. read more

My experience with Imatrix has been pretty good. They are always there, they have a trained staff of professionals, and when they "reskinned" my website, it became automatically smart phone friendly. The prices are OK, you can spend lots more, or somewhat less for a site. The advantages to Imatrix is that they are used to dealing with Chiros, and your content. The disadvantages are that a more simple Wordpress site will probably be better able to be SEO'd, and may "read" easier. This compare/contrast is less critical now due to their new format. Do you have someone that will be in business in a year, is a marketing genius, has amazing insights and produces a product for cheap? If so, use them. If not, use Imatrix. Check my site out, BTW. I'm told that they want to create a better client experience for me but it happened again. No email service from yesterday afternoon until this afternoon. Which isn't the worst part but No giving me a notification is poor service. I pay for email service so please notify me when you don't supply it. When I called I was told the system was down and that they were working on it but had no idea when our email would work again. They said that they would call me when they had an idea. No call and no follow up. Thankful it's fixed for now and received my email after lunch today. Communication with your clients must improve. read more

We used imatrix to build our website and it took them 7 months to actually make the website "live" as they call it, which really means posting things on your facebook, twitter, and google plus that have nothing to do with what i want posted on there. They're also supposed to have an e-mail account that they have for you that sends out emails for current patients, and they said that it's down and they'll have to fix it. I'm in a year contract and it's up in 2 months, so that's ten months that we've paid $200 a month for for absolutely nothing! They made a nice website, but the support for it is HORRIBLE. This company makes an okay product but it has become less useful since other web pages have become easier and easier to make. My problems began when I tried to discontinue my service. I called first to discontinue, then I had some paperwork to fill out which I did promptly. Then I was suppose to get some emails I was suppose to respond to but I don't even remember seeing the emails. Now instead of canceling the service, the have renewed it and are trying to charge me again for restarting with them. It is unreal, the hoops you have to jump through to finish with them. I would save yourself the trouble and not even get started with them. There are better ways to do it for the trouble you get!! read more
