It began with the efficient guidance by Cindy Barnett of all the necessary details on a 14-cruise on Oceania Serena from Barcelona to Dublin. No easy task moving from one country to another--five in all--and monitoring all the specific requirements by helping to set up the excursions, obtaining travel insurance and entry documents into the U.K. (which now requires proper authorization beyond passports). Following the cruise, Patricia Ladner, who secured great flight accommodations for the entire trip, also set up the five hotels we proposed to visit in Ireland along with professional drivers to take us from the Dublin Port to Belfast to Galway to the Dingle Peninsula and back to Dublin in the eight short days we visited. The coordination along with excursions I had chosen through LocalTours.com and Viator, were monitored and tracked. The trip was a flawless wonder! It was like the entire Take Time to Travel team was conveniently riding in our suitcases. Yes, we will once again give them our travel business as they have successfully guided us on two amazing trips to Europe. They are quite the dependable team to count on. I had to call to reschedule the trip to Germany because of surgery so I needed a return call. I had to call twice because got no response after a few days of waiting. I just happened to see that when I was checking the hotel locations on the website. That's all I can remember.

We started looking at travel agents and Dee's name came up. I called her and she answered right away and was happy and willing to get to work immediately on helping us find a great vacation. She recommended a wonderful hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida (which had never even been on our radar). We were able to to get in the car the following morning and drive to a beautiful beach in a matter of hours! It was 4 days of bliss! We loved the Don Ce Sar and St Pete. We will definitely use Dee's services again and we will definitely go back to St Pete! She was professional, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Thank you Dee!!!!

We have never been on a cruise before, and Dee walked us through the entire process. From booking until we made it back home. DBD assisted with setting up a great payment plan, and for a family of six could have been difficult, but she made it manageable and greatly appreciated. Dee went over what to expect, provided recommendations of places to go, and things to do. With her help it allowed us to enjoy more of the trip without the stress of planning. The one thing we appreciated most from DBD was having the comfort of knowing we could call with anything we may have needed or any last minute changes. With her handling every detail allowed us to enjoy the beautiful ship, Islands, and the excursions. DBD took care of not only our flights, hotel, and cruise but an experience. Dee Tyner wanted our family to enjoy ourselves without worry, and we truly did. For our first cruise experience with the help of DBD allowed it to be a memorable one. We look forward to DBD booking our next family trip. Can we say Mediterranean Cruise!!

The marketing slogan of Microsoft at the time was "Where do you want to go today?". As I started on my 3rd celebratory martini I declared to myself..."Amsterdam! New Years Eve in Amsterdam!". So I dialed into my internet provider and, **poof**, just like that I had a round trip ticket for 14 days (and at the now unbelievably low price of $315). Then reality hit me the next morning: I need a fucking passport in the next 5-6 weeks. As fate would have it, the previous year I had lived right behind Passports and Visas and I had seen the store many times when I walked across the street to play pool. When I went to the store I met a wonderful English woman whose name I do not recall and she took my information and two weeks later I received my first passport. Fast forward 10 years: I'm 38 and my well used passport is about to expire. This New Years I'm meeting a Russian friend in Warsaw, Poland. I returned to Passports and Visas, met the same English woman and once again I got a passport, this time in about 9-10 days. Now its March 2019 and while I'm no longer the strapping rapscallion of years past, I still have a love of history and travel and now I have the best wife in the world to share it with. Next week we are getting our passports renewed and I willing to bet you know where I am going....
