Getting in was easy they just checked our ids and scanned our tickets. Short walk from the entrance to the actual music area. There is a floor standing room area you can watch the music, as well as two elevated seating areas. The seats were pews and very roomy. It was nice to be able to sit and enjoy the show free from the crowds. The sound quality was mostly good but at times I found it was very loud and hard to hear what the musician was saying. Didn't get any drinks or use the bathroom, so I can't comment on this aspect. Overall, I thought this was a great venue.

For this particular event "The Whiskey Riot" I also overheard people saying there were more venues last year and they'd like to see more come next year. For this event, there were two food trucks outside and inside, they had a variety of free chips and granola bars for people to choose from, as well as water. There was a large seating area off to the side just to hang out and enjoy your snack or meal from the truck. Coat check is available, they accept tips only. I had a really great time here with my sons, I tried 11 different vendors and even though there were long lines, everyone was in a great mood, enjoying themselves. We brought a Whiskey Riot tee shirt and yes, we'll be back next year!

The main space has an orchestra and balcony level and you can hear perfectly regardless of where you sit. Seating is more comfortable on the orchestra level because there is more leg room if you are tall. There are bars for refreshments and on certain performance dates, you can even book a prix-fixe meal on the downstairs level! The BPO has a fantastic variety of programming (classics, pops, kids shows) and there are also a lot of one off events as well. The one down side is that the parking is pretty awful. There are paid lots, but other than that you need to depend on street parking (which might be several blocks away). You won't be disappointed by your experience here (as long as you plan for parking)

The only downfall (and I'm hoping this is a faux pas only until the construction is complete) is the lack of accessibility. There are no ramps to get inside the building or from the entrance into the bar/restaurant venue. I was surprised that we had to request flatware with dessert and that there wasn't an option for coffee or tea. That being said, tonight's local chef/business was Tony's Supper Club. I enjoyed The Big Hello cocktail to start and since I wanted to order one of everything on the menu, I got 2 appetizers, an entree to eat for my meal, an entree to bring home for tomorrow, and dessert. The Fungi "Cappuccino" was deliciously creamy. My only gripe was that I needed a spoon and more bread to sop up every bit of goodness. The buccatini pasta was al dente, the ragu was well-seasoned (another part of dinner that needed just a nip of bread for sopping) and it was tough not to lick the plate clean. For dessert, even though I've had it before, I had to go back for the chocolate panna cotta.
