The main space has an orchestra and balcony level and you can hear perfectly regardless of where you sit. Seating is more comfortable on the orchestra level because there is more leg room if you are tall. There are bars for refreshments and on certain performance dates, you can even book a prix-fixe meal on the downstairs level! The BPO has a fantastic variety of programming (classics, pops, kids shows) and there are also a lot of one off events as well. The one down side is that the parking is pretty awful. There are paid lots, but other than that you need to depend on street parking (which might be several blocks away). You won't be disappointed by your experience here (as long as you plan for parking)

Everything is charge cards, no cash accepted. The bar is always open along with the coffee and snack bar. Batman was present to do photos and a nice variety of tee's, posters etc. for sale in the lobby.

My estimate is a capacity of 400-500 chairs, in rows of 14 the floor, plus the balcony. I was there to see Judy Collins, who still has a wonderful voice. (She is 87). A friend asked why she was not performing in the Mary Seton room at Kleinhans Music Hall. I think the acoustics are better here, as are the slightly padded chairs. It is certainly more intimate.

We parked right across from the venue. The venue is located in a refurbished church and the highlight for me was seeing all the fixtures including pews and glass stained windows still in tact. Getting in was easy they just checked our ids and scanned our tickets. Short walk from the entrance to the actual music area. There is a floor standing room area you can watch the music, as well as two elevated seating areas. The seats were pews and very roomy. It was nice to be able to sit and enjoy the show free from the crowds. The sound quality was mostly good but at times I found it was very loud and hard to hear what the musician was saying. Didn't get any drinks or use the bathroom, so I can't comment on this aspect. Overall, I thought this was a great venue.

We attended an event called Blue Monday with Jack Civiletto (Chicago Jack) leading the group. Each week has a guest singer. This week it was Rod Nickson. This was followed by an open blues jam session where other local blues musicians are welcome to join in. Reserved seating is recommended with other tables available depending on the crowd. There's limited but good food menu and reasonably priced drink menu. Enjoyable fun night. If you're not into blues (which I love!) You can check their calendar for other option. From my first visit to the most recent it's a 5 Star entertainment venue. We come to listen to the best of the best of Western New York's Blues performers, most of which are in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. Our latest visit here was for the 2022 Lafayette Tap Room Reunion party. Anyone that remembers the Tap Room at the Lafayette Hotel on Washington St should remember how Blues nights packed the house. This reunion was the same. Packed with musicians taking turns on stage and music fans filling the venue. There is always a reasonably priced food menu and a fair priced bar. The only downfall (and I'm hoping this is a faux pas only until the construction is complete) is the lack of accessibility. There are no ramps to get inside the building or from the entrance into the bar/restaurant venue. I was surprised that we had to request flatware with dessert and that there wasn't an option for coffee or tea. That being said, tonight's local chef/business was Tony's Supper Club. I enjoyed The Big Hello cocktail to start and since I wanted to order one of everything on the menu, I got 2 appetizers, an entree to eat for my meal, an entree to bring home for tomorrow, and dessert. The Fungi "Cappuccino" was deliciously creamy. My only gripe was that I needed a spoon and more bread to sop up every bit of goodness. The Caramelized Figs with creamy Goat cheese and spicy arugula was the perfect combination of flavors. For my main entree, I ordered the Wild Boar Ragu. The buccatini pasta was al dente, the ragu was well-seasoned (another part of dinner that needed just a nip of bread for sopping) and it was tough not to lick the plate clean. The second entree was the bison, only because my friend wouldn't stop raving about the duck confit potatoes. lol I ate one (even though I'm *stuffed*) and they are really good - but needed salt. For dessert, even though I've had it before, I had to go back for the chocolate panna cotta. The chocolate is insanely rich, the Hazelnut brown butter added flavor and crunch, and just a half scoop more of the ice cream would have been perfect. It's a nice sized place, With a bar in the center (that only accepts cash unfortunately), A big ladies room with lots of stalls & pretty clean. Chairs for us old ppl who can't stand long. A section for the handicapped. A nice big section for bands' merchandise & for "Meet & Greets." There's actually parking & it doesn't take hours to leave the lot. I ended up having to park across the street in a tiny lot though I did arrive about 10 minutes before the show was supposed to start. Walking around to the front, I entered in and there was plenty of security at the door. Girls and guys were separated into two lines and we had to empty pockets and I was pat down. After scanning my ticket and getting my wrist band, I was in. The interior was really cool though, I liked the aesthetic. Since it was a Wednesday, I didn't really want to get into the booze, so I asked for just a water, but they don't serve tap, only bottled (which they take the cap away) that cost $3, which I thought was a little strange but oh well. Afterwards, I went up to the balcony and was able to find a chair and high-table to sit down. As soon as I did though, the power went out. In all of Niagara Falls. All the way to Schenectady (apparently). This occurred about five minutes before the show was to start. It took over 2.5 hours for the power to be restored. I was a little disappointed at the lack of communication to the crowd. Though it was pretty cool that some of the members of the bands that were going to perform came out and played acoustic. Once the power was restored though, they were pretty quick at getting the bands on. The first four bands played abbreviated sets while the headliner was able to play their full set (even though they were pushed about an hour behind). The instrumentals came across very well into the balcony but the vocals seemed muffled, I couldn't really understand what the singer was singing. I have a feeling that this would've been rectified had the power not gone out. In the end, I had a good time here. I wish management had communicated a bit more about power restoration times and alternatives, but this is such a rare occurrence for them to have to deal with something like that. I would like to come back here again and, hopefully, experience a normal night here!
