Even before my appointment, the office called to introduce themselves and walk me through what the consultation and treatment would involve. They took the time to answer all my insurance questions, explained that I could start treatment the same day if I was interested, and even shared details about their spring promotions. That personal touch really stood out and made me feel taken care of right away. By the time I came in for the consultation, I already felt comfortable like I knew the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Shastry is absolutely amazing so personable and easy to talk to. She explained the treatment in detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt completely confident moving forward. We ended up deciding to start treatment the same day, which was so exciting! I'm really looking forward to beginning my daughter's Invisalign journey. And as a bonus, they have the sweetest golden retriever named Sensei in the office, which was truly the icing on the cake. Callous, brusque staff. Poor communication. This review is specifically for the Blossom Hill location. My kid had a wire pop out. The dental assistant who helped her was very rough. When my kid told her it hurts, her response was "it doesn't hurt", and kept going. They didn't fix the problem as this was a "comfort appointment". After we left, my kid found a piece of snipped wire in her mouth. The office does not do a great job of communicating the difference between a comfort appointment and a regular appointment. When we asked for clarification, the manager launched into legalese about how this is mentioned in the contract, and it is our responsibility to comb through the contract. Overall, the staff is uncaring, and terrible at communication. This clearly starts from the top, and the attitude has percolated down to the staff. read more

I was about to sign up for braces for my son. I was given a price of about $2300 on Tuesday. When we came back for imaging, I was given a price of about $3200. Apparently the additional $950 is for lost retainers if you want them. So basically like retainer insurance. The office offered a $120 same day sign on discount and the $950 for potentially lost retainer replacements-- but it may cost more later if you don't sign on now. They shouldn't have a same day discount... it should just be $120 less. I do not feel comfortable with this type of marketing for healthcare for my son. If I need a second opinion or even just need time to think about making this purchase, I just don't think it's ethical to put pressure on patients like this. This is for healthcare for my child. I bring my daughter to this office for her consultations. The doctor recommended waiting until more adult teeth come in, and I really appreciate that she isn't trying to sell me on treatment that isn't needed. She truly cares about her patients and takes the time to explain possible treatment plans. We've been coming in every six months to monitor my daughter's growth and how her teeth are coming in. We will definitely be starting treatment here once the doctor gives us the green light. The staff is very friendly and always remembers my daughter's name. Unprofessional. Got called the day before my appointment to ask about my insurance and when was my last cleaning I've got done, I gave her the information and she proceeded to say perfect we'll see you tomorrow. I got called 30 min today before my appointment to say I needed to cancel or reschedule because I needed a cleaning done this year if I wanted braces. I told her why couldn't the lady that called me yesterday to ask me questions tell me that. she proceeds to say no one called me and that wasn't true. I gave her the time I got called and said "oh well I don't know why she didn't tell you. Do you wanna cancel or reschedule" I called off work for this appointment just so I can get called 30 min before to cancel.
