I really tried to make this place work but today was the final straw. This is the second time they tried to sneak and paint my nails a color other than the one I requested without speaking to me about it. When I pointed it out they said, "oh the color you wanted is running out." I find it very odd that they wouldn't just ask me to pick something else instead of picking on my behalf. The technicians are also consistently rude and act like they're doing you a favor by working on your nails. Also, they don't soak gel polish off properly and use the drill instead which is damaging to the nail bed. Even when asked to stop, they try to act like they don't hear you and proceed to rush the service along. Today, my gel polish was also uneven and lumpy. The technician did less tjan half the treatments than I had last time. She kept speaking to the male tech next to us, then he laughed and looked at me. The person the male tech was working on already had her nails completed and was still getting calf massages and hot stone treatments when my pedicure was already done! I get French tips every decade or so and chose here for my wedding nails. My good friend regularly gets the gel/shellac nails at various salons, most recently the salon across the street, and recommended here because they were very friendly and did a nice job. The salon was clean, had hundreds of colors to choose from for my surprise pedicure. This place is PACKED so you need an appointment. Walk ins can happen but everyone is going here. I think there were 6-7 pedicure chairs that vibrated. I wish I caught the name of the woman who did my nails but she was mid 50's and short hair. To the point and efficient. Four to five workers. My tips were $40 and $1 per gem I added. I wish I took photos the day of but my photos are from a week later. Definitely the place to stop down town. read more

Tried to find a good nail place while at college. To start off with they did not sanitize the seat or table in between clients. Then instead of soaking off my gel nails they were basically scraped off, even after I asked for that not to happen. My nails were cut to all different lengths and left sharp and jagged. The gel polish was applied in a way that makes it look chipped and grown out. Definitely going to wait until I'm back home so I don't have to go back here for nails again. read more

I was told one price for my nails while getting a pedicure - $45 for my nails, $45 for my pedicure. My toe nails were not all the same shape. Then when I get ready to do my nails, they said it would be $70. I still was going to proceed with doing my nails, even though I thought it was high. When the nail tech didn't make all my nails the same shape and I voiced my concerns about my nail shape, they told me they wouldn't finish my nails - they had already put on the acrylic with the fake nails. So I tried to shape them to the shape I was paying $70 for. And the owner rudely told me I'm not the certified nail tech. They told me to pay for my pedicure. Didn't even try to get me someone else to help me. I tried to leave the store because I was not satisfied with my pedicure and my nails weren't even done. Then the man who worked there proceeded to chase me out of the store screaming at me and swearing. He stood in front of my car and would not let me leave expecting me to pay for expenses services that I was not pleased with. They even called the cops. The female owner told my husband to "f*** off" and "you people are so f******* disrespectful!". Customer service is terrible. You should not charge that much for nails when you do not provide that type of service worthy of $70 nails. Especially for north adams. Then to refer to me as "you people". What people? Minority people? Disgusting. I only gave a 1 because you cannot give a zero. And to be fair, I go above and beyond especially when tipping for my services. The only reason this location has such a great rating is because they have pretty much no competition. They did not even provide separate prices for different nail shapes ahead of time. Terrible experience tonight. It started off with me waiting 45 minutes for my SCHEDULED appointment for some reason. Then while getting my nails prepped for an acrylic set, my cuticles were cut multiple times on multiple fingers! Then as the acrylic was applied it was farrrr too thick. My nails look almost comically thick. Then for shaping. I asked for just a plain square shape which shouldn't have been hard, however it clearly was as I have multiple nails that do not match, are asymmetrical, and very noticeably crooked. I stopped him before he even began to put on the polish-I was done with the entire encounter. Once we got to the paying counter I expressed all the issues I had with his work. Instead of trying to do anything for me-or even apologizing for that fact-he shrugged and told me my total (which was $5 more than it had said on their sign). When I asked why the extra charge he stated it was because of my length...the tips I got were short and he forgot to mention that at any point during the session. After I asked he told me I could pay $35 but 'that was the end' , 'no more' and made an aggressive hand movement to emphasize. I then handed him $20 and asked him to put the rest on my card.....which he charged the full $35 anyway. Not the mention how he SLAMMED my card into the reader and was treating me really poorly. He then went to put the $20 in the drawer !! If I wasn't paying attention he would've taken it all!! Please don't go here, poor work and even worse costumer service. read more

This place once upon a time was great. They now are horrible. The service is tragic. They are rude, unwilling to listen to your requests and make you feel bad for asking for them to do anything. They do not care about customers or the service they do. I will never come back. I will find a new place now. It's unfortunate that it's become this way because they do have one female worker who is awesome and so caring and does great work. Unfortunately I witnessed her being yelled at in another language all because I asked for her to add on a quick regular manicure and she agreed.
