I have gone to Yen at Pretty Nail for more than six years. There has never been a time when I have…read morevisited for a manicure and pedicure that she hasn't attended to every last detail. She remembers everything and everyone; treats all of her customers -- regulars and otherwise -- with the same attention and care. I always leave happy and feeling totally pampered. She is the best! My only tip is to make an appointment because she has so many regulars and repeat customers now that it's hard to just walk in.

So I was certainly…read morein no rush, but evidently the man who did my manicure was, because he sped through it, and was done within 5 minutes. The time spent alone made me think it wasn't worth the $14 I paid (that's the equivalent of paying someone $168 an hour!), but the aftermath has definitely confirmed that. My nails were chipping badly the very next day (and after nothing more strenuous than typing on the computer), and were utterly destroyed by the event for which I had gotten them done, 3 days later. The worst part, however, is that the cuticle care I received was so careless and aggressive that I now have more hangnails than I have had since I was a kid. Not happy. I've gotten a number of cheaper manicures elsewhere, and have never had them chip so soon, much less result in hangnails. Don't waste your money.

My hair was cut shorter than I wanted, and the dye came out darker than I wanted, and the highlights were streaky. I gave her plenty of pictures and was very specific about what I wanted. I figured out they take very few hair strands for each foil and every foil is $15 so it adds up in the end. It is just a very light piecy streaky highlights. Very disappointed.
