I had to try to find parking on the street but there were to many houses so they had the typical LA parking restrictions so you needed a permit to park. But if you get lucky there is a meter right outside so if no one is parked there you can get that parking. Other than that it's super 2016 coded definitely an LA staple so it was fun to visit. But because of that it also gets super crowded and you have to be lucky to get a good picture because there's no courtesy so people just photo bomb without a care but it's still a super cool thing to walk by and visit at least once!!! As far as the store it was nice and amazing.

She is a truly unique artist and true Fashion Designer doing pieces for the Grammys and red carpets and has multiple lines and a beautiful in-house showroom in Beverly Hills and another in Alta Loma. She specializes in ultra luxurious textiles, including vintage from all over the world. She never duplicates any piece and is willing to do as many fittings as needed to make the perfect garment. Her rates are extremely reasonable for what she does and the clientele she designs for. A similar dress for any other designer dress would be around 10,000, but she does couture work for a fraction of that price, even losing money on dresses sometimes! I highly recommend her and browsing completed garments that she offers to alter or add to.

Then he turns the book around and I see the exact dress I had in mind for my daughter's wedding. Then Shahlah steps in with recommendations and bring in her expert opinion. Ladies listen to her and what she is suggesting because she truly knows her job and she has no interest in cutting cost to increase her profit margin. Every step was a pleasure. Every fitting was on time and without drama or delays. The dress was ready exactly when she told me it would be and it was the hit of the party. All jaws dropped when they saw my dress. A couture experience with reasonable price for couture hand made and tailored to your body. I would never get an evening gown from anyone else ever again!

I didn't have time to order another one, so I went all over--to Men's Wearhouse, Friar Tux, and Macy's--but couldn't find the right tuxedo the same day at a reasonable price. Before giving up, I called Hollywood Suits to ask if they had tuxedos available. I was lucky that Oscar answered my call. He went out of his way to text me photos of what they had in stock. I went over about four hours before my event, and they had several great options. Oscar helped me find the right size, and they even offer alterations right in the back for an additional fee. I found a tuxedo in about 15 minutes, and they altered the pants in 30 minutes. They truly saved the day.

There was no one to say "hello", "can I help you?". Waited for like 5 minutes, and then this young lady by the name of Ashley, came towards me and asked me how she could have been an assistance to me. She was polite and helpful. I told her that I have an upcoming wedding and need some nice attire for the event. Right away she took me to where their dresses/suits are and showed me a few things. Got me a dressing room for me to try couple of the items that she selected for me. The racks for some of their items were too cramped up. The store on the other side was very clean.. Tried them on, and I liked the way the glittery purple suit fit me. It was perfect and my size. Hugged my sexy curves and made me feel really good! As I was browsing the aisles, I noticed a few other things... some I needed and some I liked. With that being said, got an imitation of Donna Karan's Perfect Scents (the brand) perfume, Cashmere Mist. It has a very soothing, clean scent to it and was only $20.00. It worked out perfectly, since I ran out of my last bottle. Then I saw this beautiful narrow royal blue vase, this pretty, yellowish/mustard color floral choker, which can also be used as a headpiece. As I was walking down their aisles, I also saw those comfortable Minnetonka flat shoes in color red. Tried them on and it hugged my feet perfectly. It was just what I needed. The fabric was so soft and I believe made of velvet. It was on sale from $65.00 to $30.00. Got 2 pairs of earrings, 4 nail polishes, and that's all that I bought. You can find some great deals at Nordstrom Rack with affordable prices. They also have other brands by famous designers. Bought few candy bars at the register along with a small bottle of water. They do have parking and restrooms. Thank you all very much!

There has never been a more penny pinching and less moral booking policy. Only 15 of my 200+…read morereviews are 1 star, so I don't choose that ranking lightly, especially for a small local business. We booked an appointment 4 or 5 days ahead of time, as there was full availability on the calendar for weekdays. There is a 48 hour cancellation window, and at hour 47 we realized that the timing conflicted slightly with a work matter (when we made the appointment we were in New York and miscalculated the time difference). An email was sent at the 47th hour (1 hour after the window), mentioning the issue and asking if it could still be canceled since it was so close to the window, and apologizing for missing the window. The owner replied and specifically said "No problem, we've gone ahead and canceled the appointment for you". At this point, we figured all was well as they made no mention of still charging the fee. A few weeks later, we noticed the charge was still there. A quick email reply came when we inquired saying it was past their window and no refund was due. IF this was the case, why did the original email not say so and why did they make 0 effort to reschedule or ask if another time worked better? OR we could have made it work if she hadn't responded so positively. What a slimy way to make a quick $27 for nothing. I will restate that the calendar was still really really open (ie, it was not a highly sough after appointment slot taken from anyone else even on the off chance they were booking in the 2-4 days out window). Overall, it is a blessing the appointment didn't happen after reading some of these reviews about how the owner acts in person (no surprise there). Ended up with a beautiful dress from Berta and would highly recommend their new LA showroom on Beverly.
