Do the math first: $120 first application, $25/week plus tip multiply by 6 months plus another reapplied session for $110 adds to $900 including tip. Don't give in to the addiction. I have credible experience after months in having Tam do lash extensions. I noticed first time is premium quality. She uses top product and spends time doing it perfectly. Slowly notice that every session thereafter is a meh experience. I specifically asked her to use shorter extensions because I knew the longer lashes drooped after a few days of her application. There is also a loyalty program that she has. Being that you have to schedule appointments and that those appointments are marked in her calendar, the number of times you paid her should be evident. Not once after I marked my seventh time did she offer the 20% discount. I brought it up, testing her loyalty towards a great client who tipped big. As a person who should know her stuff and take into consideration that some clients wear the shorter style best, she really hasn't showed me any thought to my requests. She also does not do it lash for a lash. She doubles up and layers over the existing lash extensions. This causes the lashes to look messy, clumpy and dirty in a few short days. This is coming from someone who never applies eye makeup. Also another noted experience is she rushes through her appointments if she has back to back appointments. One particular occasion I was early and she was late. She gave me a 40 minute rushed job. My lashes fell out immediately after her work and she missed applying lashes at the corners. When I stopped by that afternoon to show her she blamed me for my lashes being too thin to hold the (longer lashes that I didn't ask for) up. She said it would be too heavy it'd fall down. My response was why didn't she use the shorter lashes like I requested and she said she'd correct them the next time. The following week she didn't correct it and she charged me more! Save your lashes and your money and invest your time and hard earned cash towards someone who genuinely puts the same effort into you. You are worth more than a quickie. read more

I went in for a lash perm and Tam had to do it twice. Even then, she said my lash couldn't be permed and wouldn't curl. So she suggested that I try lash extension. I've never had one before so thought I'd try since she was giving me a discount. She did it very fast, although I've read that it should take at least 30-60 minuted. Well the result were not great. I could see some lashes stuck together and some of the glue. The extension only lasted two weeks. I don't think I'll do it again. read more

Wow! I researched when I wanted eyelash extensions. Tammy came up over and over again, so I drove all the way to Pinole. Tammy is worth the drive. She did my lashes just as I hoped they'd look. She made me so happy. I tell everyone to save their money on mascara and see Tammy. Although Tammy is mostly know for her eyelash extensions she is also a really good wax technician. I have tried several other salons in the area which are cheaper - in particular nail salons - but they are in a hurry to get you in and out the door and don't seem to care about neatness or service. And the room in which the procedure is performed is generally dirty and cramped. Plus, the wax they use is always the cheapest available - which is why they can offer the service so inexpensively. On the other hand, Tammy uses a high quality wax, is very neat and careful about how she applies it, and is very thorough to get every hair. She also finishes the treatment with a lovely Aloe Vera gel or cream to calm the area of treatment so the skin feels smooth and hydrated, not sticky and irritated. So if you are looking for a good wax treatment in Pinole, Hercules, Rodeo, or Crockett, Image de Beaute is the place to go. You'll become a regular like me. read more

Ive come here a few times when desperately in need of a massage. My upper back and shoulders start to feel like a sack of small potatoes after a good while. I don't think a lot of people know this place is here. I've come to find out that a lot of really nice spas and massage places are located in run down little strip malls haha Such a completely different world when you walk into one of their rooms. Theyre really dimly lit, equipped with warming massage tables, a soothing color changing light thing in the corner, one of those trinkling water doodads, and soothing spa music; think: being in as asian melodrama sitting by a babbling brook. Haha I go to Tammy for my massages and she is really awesome at accomodating to your needs. Super friendly and makes sure the pressure she gives is right for you. She even added on an extra 10 min for free! Heh she probably thought "damn this girl's shoulders are jacked up!" Its always a sad feeling when you become aware that your hour is almost up. Okay, so first off, I am suspicious about the reviews for this place since so many of them are 5 stars and maybe it was just my experience, but the work is NO WAY NEAR 5 stars...I wish i could say Tam was having a bad day, but I don't think so, since she spent and hour-and-a-half on my eyes with no customers behind or in front of me. Anyway, I went to Tam for eyelash extensions after many positive reviews on Yelp. The end result was this: Tam was very sweet and very friendly--however, she did exactly what eyelash companies warn against!!! #1. She glued multiple eyelashes onto one of my own eyelashes at a time; #2 she left clumps of glue at the base of my lash line. #3 She used cheap product Because of these things, my lids are somewhat achy even a week after having them put on. I can feel nobs of glue at my base and I cant wait to get them off! (They are already falling off, by the way--WITH my natural lashes attached to them!!!) The other thing is I felt like I was being "taken"...for example, I specifically asked if she would be using Novalash (she is on Novalash's website as a certified technician)--to which she said "yes"; however, I have been wearing Novalash for years and this was NOT the same product. These lashes were thicker--a much cheaper material- similar to the kind you would buy at the grocery store. Lastly, I asked her when she was licensed (as an esthetician) and she said "she couldn't remember"..and then I asked her how intense the training with Novalash was, which she couldn't remember that either. I am only giving her two stars because the hour-and-a-half visit was full of sweet, delightful chit chat... Tam is a very nice person, for sure. My first experience with Tammy was a facial that was pretty ho-hum. It was supposed to be an hour, but only lasted forty minutes, which was a little disappointing. My friend who came with me to get the same thing done and I felt like Tammy was a little rushed, but she was still super sweet and worked hard while I was in the chair. I just felt a bit slighted when she left the room and didn't come back after so short a time. Aaaanyway, what I really wanted to rave about were her eyelash extensions! I originally wanted to just get my eyelashes tinted, since they're totally blonde at the ends, but she talked me into the full set of extensions. I'm a sucker for someone telling me my eyes are beautiful, and she very persuasively told me that I'd be completely gorgeous once she was finished. They were a little pricey, and stung a little for the first hour or so, but they are AMAZING. I work in a restaurant, and EVERYONE has commented on how pretty they are. Those in my circle of confidence that I've divulged my dirty little extension secret to barely believe me, they say they look so natural. It's also been about a month now since application, and they've stayed put. If you're a low maintenance girl that hates putting on and taking off mascara every freaking day (I have towels stained black with that stuff) and is sick of the drama of wondering which tube to buy, you should DEFINITELY try Tammy's lash extensions. I went in for a massage today with Yolanda, who by far is one if the best massage therapists I've had in years. The massage was great as always with one exception. The noise of the two kids running and screaming down the hallway made it hard to relax and enjoy my massage. I think they belonged to the owner who sat up front and made no effort to control them and keep them quiet. This is not a place where you should bring your kids to work with you. Maybe once school is back in session, the kids will be in school and I'll be able to go in for a relaxing massage. I would still highly recommend Yolanda as a massage therapist. read more

I'm always treated so warmly and professionally. The eyelash extensions are painless, quick and affordable and I ALWAYS get complements on them. I've gone to Willie a few times for massages, I have a herniated disk that has caused so much tension and knots in my lower back. He is so professional and knowledgable and when I leave after having a massage my pain level goes from an 8 to a 3 and I'm like jello afterwards. He is so nice that he even offered a quick neck massage one day while I was waiting for Tammy. I've had several amazing facials from their new esthetician, Sasha. She does a fantastic job of steaming, cleaning, massaging and moisturizing my face and neck area. My wrinkles and brown spots were noticeably less visible after the first facial. My skin looks refreshed and taut and a friend I haven't seen in a while asked me if I'd had a face-lift! The whole experience is so relaxing, especially the massage, that I have fallen asleep a couple of times. Check out Willie for one helluva massage. He took my painful back and made it into the goddess it should be. I probably should have gone to the doctor about the awful pain I had, but didn't. I had NO IDEA pulling a back muscle could hurt LIKE THAT!!!! For weeks I was in misery and wanted to donate my back to my troublesome neighbor. Alas, Willie worked most of the pain out by the first visit, but the third visit I wasn't "eating ibuprofen" anymore.
