A pretty nice Ikea. Not the largest I've ever been in, but it is well stocked (compared to what…read moreI've seen in the Toronto Ikea) and not as crowded as I was expecting (also compared to Toronto Ikea). It had nearly everything I was looking for. Plus we stopped for the required pre-shopping meal and post-shopping icecream. I promise, if the last thing you do at Ikea is buy icecream...you will always have a good time at Ikea. Plus at this location you can get a KitKat bar to go inside your icecream! Is this a Danish thing? Because we don't get that in New York. This Ikea is on a convenient bus route (150S) north from Copenhagen. For someone who is new to the country and just want some affordable things to make their apartment more like a home, Ikea is the best place! Plus, if you've ever been in an Ikea in your home country, then everything is quite familiar and you can pick out all your favourites.

This particular Ikea is the easiest to reach from the Copenhagen city if you don't happen to have a car with you. If you do have the car, and the time, I'd suggest you to head over the Taastrup warehouse that is much bigger and better. Gentofte one is smaller but it holds the essentials. Take 150s or 184 from Nørreport st for a quick trip and bring the oversized blue bag from the last time you were here, and you're set to bring home your new furniture!

I was happy to see that the prices here are actually quite reasonable. They have a great selection of kitchen, house, living, gardening and office items. I've bought some pots for plants (19kr each), Weck jars (20-29kr each - same price or lower than some grocery stores), and a few small kitchen items. There is a nice mixed of Danish brands and other brands. The store staff is nice and wrap up your breakable products in cardboard paper when you make a purchase. I've had to do a return at one point and they were equally pleasant.

OHMYY LOOK AT THESE THINGS I COULD NOT BRING HOME…read more yes this is how i felt when im in this place. the stuff are hella pretty, a bit pricey, but they are mostly home stuff, sucks to be someone that doesn't live here And they updated their place with plenty christmas decor, and they are so kyoteeee!! all my friends love to visit here just to check them out weeee! The only thing i bought here are the postcards, you could probably get it somewhere else, but this place have more choice of the postcard by that artist:)
