I have been a member at the Cherry Hill iLoveKickboxing location since the beginning of May 2015 and it has been one of the best fitness-related decisions I have ever made. I was never someone who could push myself to do intense cardio training in a regular gym or even outside, and never really wanted to pay for a 1-on-1 personal trainer. I was already doing well with strength training but I needed a way to start burning more fat and increasing my overall endurance. Joining this gym has proved to be the answer! No two workouts here are ever the same, and they will definitely get you sweating like you've never sweat before. After my first two classes in my first week I trimmed 2 pounds of fat, which was awesome for someone like myself who doesn't have a ton of weight to lose. On top of all that, I have been able to learn kickboxing techniques that I never imagined I would be good at. This has increased my core strength and given me a type of functional strength that is unparalleled by other types of training. All of the instructors are wonderful people who have done a great job keeping me motivated every week since joining, and they genuinely care about helping every person achieve their personal goals no matter how big or small they may be. Both the instructors and owners of this gym are very approachable people who are always willing to take recommendations on how they can make your experience better. I find this to be very important because every individual has different needs, and what helps one person succeed might not be the same thing that helps me. The gym also adds to the fun by hosting monthly DJ rave nights to intensify the action and create a fun, kick-ass environment. Three things you should know about me: 1) I am a hardcore quitter, 2) I am a sucker for a sales pitch, 3) I frequently suffer severe 'Buyers Remorse'. I can say quite honestly that only one of those three things is true when it comes to the Cherry Hill gym. I will ALWAYS be a sucker for a sales pitch (which you will get after your first class) but I have been with the gym for about a month now and I have not regretted it AT ALL. I initially had intended on going once a week thinking I would go to other classes I'd previously signed up for as well at other gyms/studios (Pilates, regular gym, barre, etc.) and change it up a bit so I wouldn't get bored but I have been so super surprised that instead I have been going 4 times a week and LOVING IT. I am not the most enthusiastic person usually but the energy and positive attitude is infectious and I find myself becoming more positive inside and outside of the gym every time I go. I've already lost a few pounds, improved my endurance, and look less and less like a can of busted biscuits when I'm naked! I'm on the way to being healthier, looking better and feeling great thanks to the fantastic trainers and their attitudes that boost all of the members to create a judgement free, supportive and fun atmosphere. I LOVE this place. I hate exercising, and like previous posters, I'm definitely a quitter when things are hard. I'll find every excuse in the book to NOT workout - now, I'm arranging my toddler's school schedule around kickboxing classes (seriously). Truths: It's tough, and your first class will hurt. Badly. But it'll be a HUGE wake up call for your fitness levels (0 is a level), and it'll be truly humbling when you realize you can't even do a real sit-up. I haven't had a workout this tough since I was a swimmer, and I did that two hours a day, multiple days a week. This is the hardest one hour of my day. Don't be scared, though. Your instructors truly care about you, and they go to great lengths to personalize your experience. I was put off at first by how close-knit the classes were - it's pretty intimidating to an outsider when you have zero clue what you're doing and everyone seems to know each other. Ignore that feeling, though. You'll get over it really quickly. I really love it here and it's vastly improved my fitness levels in a seriously short time. Going three days a week, I can now run two miles without stopping - and that was after only one month of classes. It's hard as hell, sure. But it's awesome enough for me to have taken the time to right this giant review, so I seriously recommend it if you have the time and money (membership is slightly pricey but it motivates you to go!). read more

I love Kick Boxing Cherry Hill comes highly recommended by me and I'll tell you why. This has been one of the best lifestyle choices I have made for myself. I have always been the type of person who has struggled with my personal fitness and body perception. I would go through gym memberships and eventually cancel all of them. I have realized that motivation and inspiration from a great group of people will help me succeed with my fitness goals and that's exactly what the instructors at ILKB Cherry Hill do. It is a family and what I like to call my "No judgement zone". I go three times a week and it's a killer workout. I have really seen some changes in my body, mind and attitude since I started two months ago. It's so worth it. And as one of the instructors, Alex, likes to say...."The best is yet to come" :) So as you can see, this is more than just a workout...it's a lifestyle improvement and attitude enhancer and I've made friends along the way too. If you ever need any nutritional advice you can always utilize the trainers for a consultation as well, which I did at one point....so your membership dollars go way past the exercise portion. I can't recommend this establishment enough! The staff are always very motivating and they make it a point to know everyone's name. There is a great family atmosphere among the staff and the ILKB members. Each workout is specifically designed per class so there are no repeat lessons and each staff member is encouraging and knowledgeable in their own right. The thing that impresses me most is that while motivating their members to live healthier lives, the staff chooses a new charity to support through social media each month. The staff encourages members to "check-in" regularly and use an inspiring hashtag. By creating this connection online, it generates an opportunity to promote a different charity and provide donations each time a member "checks-in" - and it's as simple as posting something on your Facebook status! As my 50th birthday is looming in the near future I figured I would never be able to succeed at kickboxing. I had gained some weight and was feeling tired and like I was losing strength. My daughter recommended ILKB. I tried a class and thought well maybe if I stick with it I will see results. The most amazing part is that no matter how many people are in the class the instructors will encourage and teach you. I belonged to another gym and I don't think they knew my name yet hear they call you by your name, check in with you on how you are doing and if you slack off they check up on you!! They are so motivating!! I have also developed great respect and feel inspired by classmates some who are in better shape than me who bring me along and others in the same boat as me who encourage and care about my progress as well as theirs. Upon walking into my first kickboxing class a few months ago and being out of shape, I was worried I would lag behind everyone else. However, after seeing the results another friend had after joining ILKB, I figured I had to at least give it a shot... and I couldn't be happier that I did! Thanks to the awesome encouragement and dedication of all of the instructors, as well as the amazing members who truly seem to care, I've pushed myself much harder than I would have simply working out at the gym on my own. Starting kickboxing classes at ILKB has helped me take charge of my fitness again instead of accepting a health level and body I wasn't at all happy with. During the course of a 30-day challenge alone, I lost more than 10 inches off my body - and that was without sticking strictly to a hard-and-fast diet. I love ILK Cherry Hill! I started almost two months ago and have already lost five pounds. I planned on going twice a week, but I love it so much that I try to go three days a week whenever I can. The things I like best about the studio are the format of the workout, the instructors, and the clients. The workout is tough, but I always feel so great after! I'm not good at going to the gym and trying to put together my own workout. I get all the structure I need here, plus it's so much fun to punch and kick things! The instructors are amazing! They are always so positive and supportive. Each class, I'm given individual guidance and tips to make my technique better. Finally, the community is awesome. Everyone is so friendly and there is no judgement. Seriously. Everyone is there to challenge themselves. Not one another. I have always said that I wanted to sign up for kickboxing and when I came across an ad for this place, I instantly signed up and I'm so happy that I did. The classes are great, the workouts are awesome--not always the same routine, always changing--but most importantly the instructors are phenomenal. They get to know you on a first name basis, they care about your progress, and are always encouraging you to eat healthy and stay fit. All walks of life, all shapes and sizes come to these classes so in NO WAY do you feel intimidated or feel like you can't complete these classes; all levels of fitness are welcomed. Absolutely love this place!! I honestly did the trial thinking I would just do the 3 classes and move on to the next workout place with a great deal but I fell head over heels for ILOVEKICKBOXING-Cherry Hill. The atmosphere is amazing, the instructors and members are all so welcoming and encouraging. I'm getting married in April and kickboxing was exactly what I needed in my life. Its not only getting me in great shape but its keeping the stress away and giving me the direction in class that i lack when going to a large chain gym. Its a whole body workout that you have so much fun doing you never want it to end. I have made so many new friends since joining, I go at least 3 days a week and even when I'm out with friends on my "nights off", I crave getting back in the gym and hitting the bags. I have never been athletic nor have I enjoyed exercising until I joined ILoveKickboxing in Cherry Hill! The instructors at ILKB make it a fun environment and motivate you to do your best every session. The format of the workout is unlike anything I have ever done, and it makes the hour fly by! The combination of cardio and resistance training has made me stronger and improved my endurance. I am now preparing to run my first 5K, and I have ILKB to thank for giving me the strength I needed to get started. ILoveKickBoxing is the best workout I have ever had in my life. I can already see significant changes in my body and improvements in my punches and kicks after only a couple months. The instructors are amazing! They are very approachable, helpful, and motivating and make it a point to know everyone's name. I was a bit hesitant to join kickboxing, but it was on my bucket list, so I had to push myself to join. I thought I wouldn't be able to keep us with everyone, but joining ilovekickboxing gave me a different experience all together. To start, the staff her are just amazing and the most motivating people I have ever met. They work with everyone so well and never have anything negative to say to someone. I signed up for the internet special thinking I just wanted to see what this place had to offer compared to the other places I had tried. Well just after 1 class, I was HOOKED!!! I absolutely loved everything about it. From the intensity of the HIIT, to the stretching, to the bag work, to the partner work, and to the cool down stretching. If you're looking for a high intensity full body work out, this is your place! I have been a member for almost a year. This is the best work out I've ever gotten. I have lost weight, gained muscle and increased my overall energy levels. This is just the beginning of my fitness journey.
