Walked in the streets of Viña, and we stumbled I. To this GEM! It was empty when we entered and that worried me. However it was rather early by Chilean Standard, so we went in any way. The decide was very nice, modern but still traditional. The waitresses knew little English but they went way beyond their means and made a tremendous effort to explain each preparation and how exactly it was made. We were five and ordered five different things starting from wild boar to beef, to fish, each and every dish was superb, in taste and in presentation. For many of us this was the best food we had in the past week of our stay and that included other Chilean, Peruvian and Italian restaurants went to in Viña. And it was extremely reasonably priced. Food including wonderful appetizers, a fruity aperitif, dinner and local brewed beer, costed about 22k Chilean pesos, or $30. Just about 25 meters from this place very ordinary (compared to this, but still very good ) food was being served for at least twice the price on St. Martin street, main visitors area.
I highly highly recommend this place. The place is quiet and family friendly, but you could also go there for a quiet and intimate evening. read more
