My hair was cut way too short, although I had asked that it be cut as though there was a weeks worth of growth on it, and when it was finished there was no style to my hair. How could there be? There was no hair to work with?! To top that off, when I went to pay my bill, I was told that my total was $263, I believe it was. I have been to some of the finest stylists in the Tri Cities, even some that own their own businesses, and they have NEVER come close to this amount. This young lady, although sweet, has not been out of beauty school a year! I am appalled. I don't want anyone to see me for at least a month. Maybe then I will have something to work with on my head that doesn't embarrass me. Haylee Bitton is THE person to go to for Brazilian Blowouts in the tricities and probably the whole state of Washington. I was hesitant to get another Brazilian blowout in the tricities after receiving a subpar blowout at Encore Salon, but Haylee eased my concerns by being personable, so knowledgeable and a true professional. By far the most talented beautician I have met since moving to Washington. She was able to transform my uncontrollably curly/frizzy mane into the smoothest, most lustrous, and gleaming hair that could rival silk. The salon itself was nice; clean and friendly staff. My only two regrets: (1.) I didn't go to her sooner, and (2.) I didn't tip her enough. So if you are contemplating getting a Brazilian Blowout, I implore you to go to Haylee. Made an appointment for 3:00 pm. Showed up at 2:50 pm and were told they were running a little behind and to come back in 15-20 minutes. Sure, not a problem at all. Got back at 3:15 pm and let then know we were there (had to call from the car due to covid regulations). They said it would be about 10 more minutes. We waited and finally left at 4:00 pm. They never called or followed up to let us know we were up. It's now 4:40 pm end still no call. What a waste of time. read more

I am so in love with the salon they did absolutely amazing work the atmosphere is super trendy and up-to-date and I feel like their technical knowledge around hair matches the atmosphere. You walk in and you automatically feel so welcomed and so taken care of and you're just so excited to ask questions and partner with the the hairdresser. I went in to get my hair fixed from another salon and was not expecting that there would be much for them to do other than do a quick cover up, they were able to get me in the very same day and exceeded my expectations!!!! Everybody's professionalism in the environment just made it seem so worth the trip to go all the way to Pasco for them to fix my hair, I am so in love with this salon and I am inviting you guys to give them a shot and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The dye work done on my hair was close to my request, but the stylist Courtney Taylor seemed to lack a personal interest in the work. I did not imagine to get the customer service of a line cook at a fast food restaurant. But that is what I got. First she disappeared for 20 minutes, and never told me why, simply saying "sorry" That was issue number one. 2. I could tell she was in a rush from the attitude. 3. Whenever she told me something I would listen and say what I was thinking.... Only to be ignored and told the same thing multiple times as if I was an idiot. 4. There's a mistep on the way my hair was dyed, it was a result of the stylist lacking any interest in clarification of work. These are true to me, hope you listen. read more

I loved this place many years ago, but they have gone way downhill. Good luck getting an appointment and keeping it... your time is not valued and it is assumed that your appointment can be changed at their discretion with less than 2 hours' notice. There are other salons in the area with extremely talented stylists who value their clients, so the good news is that we all have more choices. read more

So I made an appointment with Heather for a trim and to add some curtain bangs. I asked her to take enough off to make it healthy and I ended up loosing about 4.5 inches which was a little overboard. The length however wasn't even what make me upset. The "curtain bangs" she gave me were two very blunt chops in the front of my face with no blending. All my friends and family agreed that it looked super messed up and like I had attempted to do my own hair. There were also weird long pieces in it and the sides were not even. She also brought up her religious and political views with me which made me feel uncomfortable since our views did not align. She even went as for as putting both of her hands on my shoulders while getting very into her speech about why God only allows his followers into heaven. I also asked her if she thought the curtain bangs would look okay on me (while she was already cutting my hair) and she replied, "No. I hate curtain bangs and have already talked 4 people out of them. They're just a phase and will be out by the end of the year." Once I got home and realized how messed up my hair was, I called to see if I could get a refund so I would have money for someone else to fix it. The manger refused even after I let her know that Heather made me feel super uncomfortable. The owner offered for someone else to fix it so I took her up on the offer to ovoid putting more money into my hair. The next lady I had was super sweet and really tried her best to fix the situation. Overall, I would steer clear of this salon. If the owner cared about her business or clients, she would have tried harder to make the situation right. Not to mention the price of gas and having to go there another day. read more

I've been wanting to leave this review since I last was here months ago. If your a guy who does not want a styles haircut DO NOT GO HERE. The guy here can only cut hair bald style or very short style. He was iffy using scissors and he basically trimmed a very short amount and total was almost 30 bucks!!!! please dont go in expecting "pay more better service" its not here. few months later just went to a cheaper hair cut place for better results. read more

I went to this salon to get lash extensions for my upcoming trip and was told that my appointment had to be cancelled due to my being late, i was maybe 3 minuets late at the very most since i was coming from work, and that because i was late it would ruin the other another appointment. I am so happy I stopped by illusions salon during my winter break back in town. I had my hair done by Gloria, who is absolutely an incredible stylist and person! She treated me like family, and gave me exactly what I asked for but even better. I showed her a photo of hair from a celebrity hair stylist, and Gloria did it better! She made sure my highlights were blended naturally. The blonde color was ashy just like I wanted. I highly recommend!! read more

I just had my hair done for the first time at Illusions and loved it. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews, it's a large and well established full service salon. I like that it's a bigger salon, lets me see what other trends each hair stylist is sporting. I also had my hair dyed and cut by Amy, and she did a great job! I showed her photos, she asked me a few questions, and went to work. She nailed the color I was looking for and cut it exactly how I asked. I paid for 10min but got 7min because they were scared I would burn. The machine stopped working at the beginning of my session and I had to dress and go back outside to the front desk. I did not burn, and I did not tan. They did give me a FREE tan session for all the inconvenience. I made sure to inform the front lady It was my first time tanning so that she would inform me. She did a bad job explaining the process so I was clueless half the time. Also she was going to let me tan without eye protection until I brought it up. Also there was debris on the wall, food on the portrait, and some spilled lotion by the trash. There was a sign that said the tanning bed had been clean, but she didn't actually wipe it down before I laid for my own comfort. read more

Who wants a tan? Snow.....go away!! Anyone ready for the snow to melt and the sun to come out? Well, I am. With the month being March and warm weather hopefully coming I decided to get a little color going. Illusions is a large salon with a ton of different tanning options; low pressure, high pressure, velocity (no burning), and spray tanning and tons of other services. I called around and found Illusions to be affordable with the best tanning packages and prices. They explained all the differences between all the tanning options. I chose the high pressure (shorter tanning time) and an option of a stand-up bed. Employees were very helpful and friendly - brand new bulbs - so shorter tanning advised. Clean rooms, clean towel waiting for me and eye-covers available. Oh, tanning lotion is a great price compared to other places I've been locally. Happy about buying a tanning package at Illusions. read more

Had a fill by Shelly Burleigh - visiting town with a conference so I found the salon online. Very strange place, manicure table in a back corner, dusty and drab. Shelly was friendly but didn't give much confidence to the client, dropping things, trying to use polish that was dry, etc. Did everything without a power tip, sanded like crazy by hand and they really didn't look that great when I was done.
