I am new to Edmonton and was in search of a new waxing lady. I asked a friend for a recommendation…read moreand she pointed me in Kelsey's direction. WOW!!!!! I never knew waxing could be like this. I had made peace with it being a mildly traumatic experience but now I know better. I had leg, underarm and Brazilian treatments. Kelsey is ridiculously thorough and there was no pain at all in any area. I will not go anywhere else now that I know about Happy Beaver!!!!!

What most impresses me is Kelsey and her attention to details. She takes her time and makes sure there no hair left behind. Other salons sometimes go too fast and rush the Client out fast. I love the ability to chat with the wax technician and Kelsey certainly can provide not only great detailed services but great conversations i as well if thats what you like during the session. I have body jewellery and she always makes sure to get the last hairs to make sure it's done right. thanks Kelsey for providing a great non rushed service.

I am loyal and have always travelled to see her 45 minutes away. BUT Sugaring Bear Waxing has stolen my heart and business. So kind! So sweet! And truly what an amazing job. I had full Brazilian and half legs, as well as eyebrow clean up and tinting. Clean, fast, efficient and painless. Unreal! Do yourself a favour and try her out, you WILL NOT be disappointed! So happy she's close by The Brewery District downtown. I've found my new esthetician for hair removal.

I also loved that she went over it with tweezers after to get all the hairs. The mid mask at the end was an added surprise! Definitely coming back!

Hi Men I went to Buff Wax for the first time to get…read moreeverything waxed and hair removed from top of shoulders to toes except my chest. As a man this at first is a bit intimidating but My Technician Geri was super professional great at doing her job, did an super excellent job and in less time than booked. She made me feel at ease and of course they use a new wood applicator for each wax application so hygiene is important to them when applying wax The place is very neat clean and all staff very pleasant. If your a man and never have done this I can say it's awesome after but more important is that Geri is a big reason that I felt comfortable during and after the appointment. I am returning late October for another session I recommend doing it all or at least experience the Dudezillian I have done waxing only once elsewhere and it did not have a good outcome I thought I give it a try again and it was great Great job Buff Wax spot and Geri thanks It was a great experience overall Dean

had an appointment for a Brazilian at the Sherwood Park location. Another appointment beforehand…read moreran long, called to say I'd be a bit late. charged a 50% cancellation fee because they couldn't accommodate it. that's absurd, but whatever. However, the lack of skill I routinely received is not forgivable and I regret giving this place so many chances. I had a different girl almost every time. One fingered my butthole by mistake, another poured hot wax on my clit. First time I went the technician was great and I had good results. Every time after was a painful experience, lots of ingrowns and even bruising. My boyfriend complained that my hooha looked beat up all the time. I still kept giving them chances, but charging $32 for a no show fee is ridiculous - I should have charged them for what they did to my nether regions! High end restaurants and salons charge less for cancellations. So upset I ever gave these scammers a dime.

They have super cute and well themed decor. From bath Epsom…read moresalts to scarves, jewelry, Pom Pom necklaces, precious cards, dreamy creams and lovely staff. If your looking for something really chic and a unique gift why not take a look here at the goodies. But by and large they are most popular for their Brazilian waxes so I have been told. I braved getting waxed and I must say the staff are just so sweet, efficient, and personable. I like that in all three instances that I have gotten waxing services I have learned something about my service provider and have had great conversations with them. It didn't feel like a get in and get out kind of place. Personally that makes my day and makes the experience that much better. They have multiple kinds of waxes they use and as a totally inexperienced waxer I have no idea if that is normal practice or not. But when I asked they definitely were okay sharing about each wax and what they were for. The unique purple wax is their special formula meant to get those little fluffy hairs, dark green for hard wax, and if I remember they have one more wax. Rooms are private and the large washroom is perfect- I especially like that they have their lotions to use in the bathroom. There isn't a lot of seating in the main shopping area before you go in for waxing but there is certainly lots of take a look at. Prices definitely seem good and there is free parking outside the facility.

Well I'm on visit number three, two visits for back, and one for a chest/ab…read more My back had very fine dark hair, that was almost invisible from 6 feet away, and my chest has darker and courser hair, not as bad as some guys but enough that I didn't like it. I have been waxing for over 15 years, and I don't find it all that painful, but the results are very short lived, after 2-3 days the hair was visible again. After the first laser treatment on my back, the skin was very slightly pink, and was gone by the next morning. Afters six weeks there was so little hair I continplated not not going back because there really wasn't much for signs of hair at all. The results where so good on my back I decided to go ahead have my chest/abs done today, if the results are any where near what I have had on my back it will be money well spent. The staff is very professional, and plesent to talk too, while they worked on me. As other people have stated, it really is almost painless, I would describe the sensation similar to a very very mild electro static shock. I did notice the sensation did seem to be a little more noticeable on the courser chest hair then on the finer back hairs, but no where near what waxing is. The only things I would like to see this company do different is get more machines, as they are very busy and booking a time is very limited. And secondly get a freeking bottle warmer, for the ultrasound gel.
