The lady was really nice when I first came in, but…read moreonce she put the remover on my lashes, she went straight onto TikTok Live and basically stopped paying attention to me. The remover was left on way too long, and at one point she came over and rubbed it into my lashes with her bare fingers. After sitting there for around 15 minutes, I finally had to call her over and ask how much longer it would be. She then started removing my lashes rather aggressively and got the remover in my eyes. It burned so badly that I couldn't keep bear it and had to sit up and it was just awful and i was cursing and all this things because of how bad it was. She tried wiping it away with a wet cotton pad, but it just made the burning worse (mixing the water and the BURNING solution into my eye). I ended up having to go into their bathroom to rinse my own eyes out, and the bathroom was honestly disgusting so that sucked too. The craziest part is she didn't even remove all of my lash extensions. She charged me $25 like everything was fine and didn't apologize once. I sat in my car for a few minutes, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized I shouldn't have paid for a service that wasn't even completed and left me in so much pain. I went back inside to ask for a refund, and she immediately started arguing with me. She kept saying the burning was "normal." I've had my lashes done and removed before, and this was way beyond normal irritation. Her only solution was to have me sit back down so she could finish removing them, which I obviously wasn't comfortable with after what had just happened.When I asked to speak to someone else, she said she was the manager. She just stood there asking me what I wanted, and when I asked for a refund, she shrugged and refused. I honestly don't know if they're properly trained or certified to be doing lash removals. Leaving chemicals on while you're distracted on TikTok Live, using your bare hands around someone's eyes, and sending someone home with lashes still on after getting remover in their eyes is completely unacceptable. I definitely won't be coming back and will be escalating this issue to the city. Such a terrible attitude for 25 dollars, they must be desperate.

Lucy was incredibly warm and welcoming, taking the time to explain the process and how her machine and method are specifically designed to work with women with dark hair/skin and hormonal concerns like PCOS. I initially signed up for just 6 sessions for my legs, but after only 1 session, I saw such a significant reduction in leg hair that I purchased full face + underarms as well. Lucy goes above and beyond for her clients. When I purchased full face + underarms after one of my leg sessions, she squeezed me in for my first session the same day and even shaved my face for me (usually a prep step). After my face became irritated during one of our laser sessions, she sent me home with a free sample of one of her high-quality facial oils. Once we finish laser, I'm looking forward to trying the various other treatments Lucy has recommended for some of my other skin concerns, like hyperpigmentation. I decided to be spontaneous and get my lashes done for the first time in well over 3 years (my only good lash lady retired in 2021) and called them. They randomly happened to have an opening that day, right after my haircut (ohhhh, yes, that's what I had been googling lol). I was so impressed by my lashes that I've been coming back every few weeks ever since (it's been about 4 months now) and as long as I live here, I will continue to come here. They also have some pretty epic facials and other things. I cannot emphasize more how amazing Lulu and her team are! I'm a very picky person who doesn't let strangers touch her face, but I'll keep returning to this spot!

The salon I usually go to was booked up, so I figured why not try somewhere new? Big mistake. The lash tech took forever (I was in the chair for 4 hours) and she glued my eyes shut not once but actually twice! After she finally finished the lashes looked terrible, absolutely not what I asked for and way too short. My natural lashes look longer with mascara than this "set" she put on. Clumps of glue everywhere and sparse lashes left all over my face. She asked me 4-5 times "you like it right?!" to which I responded with an unenthusiastic "yeah" because I was so mad I couldn't even talk about it and because I was beyond late after being stuck there way longer than anticipated. On top of all this dissatisfaction, she uncharged me an extra $40 at the end and asked for a second tip. I'm beyond upset and immediately made an appointment for my regular spa to clean up this horrible mess. I sincerely hope she can fix it.
