I received a Groupon from my sister as a birthday gift for "Flirt eyelash extensions." This is my first experience with lash extensions. I also love that I wasn't disrespected or frowned upon for using Groupon, which I use often. Customer service is top-notch. I called during closed hours. I later got a call returning my missed call. I hadn't left a message. I immediately set up an appointment for my next availability. Before my appointment, I received text reminders of my appointment and contact information. On my appointment day, I received a text informing me that my tech had a cancellation before my appointment and was offered the opportunity to come in at an earlier time. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly, professional staff. My technician (I can't remember her name!) was awesome. When I met her, she asked me for my preferences, expectations, and if I was getting lashes for a specific occasion or everyday wear. She talked throughout the process informing me of expectations and lash care. My experience was great. When I was finished I went to the counter to check out and make tax payment, plus tip. I was offered an amazing lash care set, but they unfortunately didn't have all the items on stock. I will return to get this deal. I later got a text thanking me for my business. I'm not trying to be rude or unkind however I believe my experience could've been better. My partner and I went for permanent jewelry. On the website to book, it says the average was $65 so I was expecting around there, but I understood it was not an exact $65 no matter what. A lash tech ended up doing our service as the jewelry tech didn't come, and while she was very kind, we had no idea how much it was going to be, and I was expecting around $65. It wasn't until after the service was completed that we found out how much it was. It was $250, my jaw was completely on the floor. I wish that we would have been told PRIOR how much. WOW. This place is the real deal. Professionalism at its finest. The staff is very knowledgeable, caring. Before getting started they ask what you would like and show pictures and examples to ensure you walk out happy. Tori did my lashes this evening and it took about 1 hour. 1 hour of pure bliss.. and I woke up with beautiful lashes (I was so relaxed I fell asleep!). Tori was very gentle- as I have very sensitive skin. Even though my eyes were closed the whole time she talked me though what she was doing so I wouldn't be startled. This was my first experience with getting eyelash extensions so I was really nervous about the whole process as well as the results. Chloe was my technician, first of all I want to mention she was so through explaining the whole process and everything involved as well as the upkeep and care I needed to keep my lashes looking pristine. Her energy was calming and I knew I was in good hands. The location is clean and is shared with a yoga studio which didn't bother me. The booths are divided by curtains and you have a comfortable place to lay down while they do your extensions. Chloe advised me of everything she was doing it through the process. My eyes were very watery so I was a bit of a challenge to work on. Even though it took a little longer she was patient and put me at ease. While laying there they cover your bottom lashes with collagen eye pads to prevent your lower lashes from getting the adhesive on them. At first it feels weird but after a while it actually feels nice and its good for your circles not to mention it protects you. So it's a bit tedious getting little lashes attached to your actual lashes but I was blown away by the result. I had the full set and it took about an hour and a half or so. (like I said before my eyes were pretty watery) We did a pretty natural length and even though she said it might take a little bit to adjust I felt like they were apart of me right away! In awed by the fluttery princess lashes I didn't wear a smidge of makeup for the first two weeks of having them. They're a lot of rules for keeping them pretty; sleep on your back, use makeup remover without glycol, don't pull or tug at your lashes (this seems like a pretty obvious one) and if you use mascara it has to be a certain type. I know this seems like a lot of upkeep but once you have them you'll get such a boost of confidence you won't mind. This isn't for everyone and it definitely isn't cheap but you do get what you pay for. If you want natural gorgeous amazing lashes this is the place to do it. Thank you Chloeee!!! read more

This place is absolutely horrible, they charged $250.00 for i lash extensions and i came out looking like a plastic doll. The lashes felt like plastic and i couldn't even comb through them. The next morning I had lost at least 1/2 of the lashes and I had an extreme eye infection when I called to report this I sent them pictures of the lashes and my eye they refused to correct it or refund my money. read more

Man this place is a doozy! I came a couple years back and got eyelash extensions, no problems. Got tired of the maintenance and had them removed. No issues. Fast forward to 2 years later, they moved to a new location that is also a yoga studio? Weird. The booths are small and not very intimate as there are only curtains separating the technicians and you can hear everyone's conversations. My first time coming back I paid almost $200 for extensions that didn't last a week, the receptionist at the front gave me a list of dates I could schedule for a refill, which I did. When I went in for my refill, I was notified that I had 30 lashes on one eye and about 16 on the other. I started out with 75 per eye.....and took the proper precautions and maintenance for upkeep. Again, fast forward to a couple days later and I have a pretty horrid allergic reaction, my eyes are puffy and they sting when I opened them. I called to make an appointment to get them removed, and the OWNER informed me that I would have to wait A WEEK!! Because their schedule was full. Are you kidding me? My eyes are on fire and you want me to wait a week???! After arguing with her for a few minutes she agreed to "fit me in" but informed me that there will be a charge for removal as "the remover they use is VERY expensive", whatever I don't care, I agree because it feels like fire ants are living on my eyes. I go to my appointment and GUESS WHAT? The technician didn't even use a freakin "remover" she peeled off each individual eyelash with flippin tweezers!! She also told me that they use several different types of glue and that was probably what caused the reaction. And I was still charged $40 for removal. And left with my puffy, eyelash-less eyes. This place is a HUGE rip off. Eyelash extensions are cute for special occasions but go anywhere but here. BY THE WAY, they'll tell you that your lashes will fall out naturally with the extensions and that the glue isn't harmful, but every single time I've gotten eye lash extensions my natural lashes turn thin, sparse, and practically all gone! read more

Don't waste your money here. I needed to get my eyelashes done before going back to Sweden. I have never done them in America before, so I looked on yelp and since iLash factory is ranked nr3 I thought they'd be good. After the appointment I felt that the lashes were glued ONTO MY EYELID. Now, that's not what is supposed to happen when you do your lashes - they are supposed to be glued onto your natural lashes. So I called them, and the answer I got was that "it is not possible for the glue to set on the skin" and that I "can come in and show my lashes but I have to make an appointment". They ARE stuck to my eyelids, period. And it hurts really bad everytime I close my eyes. Getting them removed here in Sweden next week. Beyond disappointed with this place. read more

The owner, Payton is very nice and she knows how to work. She can work fast and has very good customer service skills. If you can get an appointment with her do it! She's probably the best lash technician there. I gave this place a 2 out of 5 because the lashes used here aren't the best and I think that's how they are able to keep prices so low. The lashes are shiny and plastic looking (very fake) and thick. And the glue used aren't the best because although everyone has different lash cycles people should not be coming in every week to refill them due to fall out. And I know it's just not me cause I met and heard there other clients say so themselves since there is no privacy and you can hear everything. This was my first experience with extensions and while I already have long and full lashes they are light on the ends. This experience was so comfortable, the technician was informative and took her time to discuss the best look for me. We even discussed upgrading but it wasn't pushed on me since I've never warn anything like false eyelashes so was worried about getting used to them. I like to give the business being reviewed by a consumer the benefit of the doubt as I read reviews because some situations warrant the quality of the review itself. Did the reviewer address the actual service of the business, did they address performance & quality of the service rendered, etc. So I decided to go to iLash Factory to see for myself despite several 1 star reviews. Upon arrival to the salon (hard to find if not familiar with the area as the sign does not STAND OUT)....the receptionist was customer service centric, she greeted, welcomed & made me feel right at home. I arrived early for my appmt and waited for my technician who showed up promptly. I was serviced in a timely manner and all my questions answered concerning the care of my lashes etc. AFTER I left the factory, I took great care to not wet my eyes or use an oil based products for 72 hours anywhere near my eyes. I've been getting lashes for a while and know the care you need to take in the first few days. These lashes begin falling almost immediately the next day...they were on the floor of the bathroom, randomly falling one at a time as I went about my daily routine and they seem to fall faster than any lashes I've ever gotten done within the first week. No fault of the technician I don't think...the lash quality was really "plasticky" feeling and perhaps the adhesive being used is old? I don't know, but I did not return for the next appointment. I had nearly lost every lash before the end of my first week which is not the standard. Some lashes will fall but not at this rate. I think the quality of materials being used maybe cut rate. I enjoyed my experience. Upon completion there was one lash i felt was too long and out of place but she removed it and i was all set.

Ugh!! Not worth what you pay for. I got the Glam classic individuals, the first initial set was fine. When I went back for a fill, not even 3 days later (after showering, making sure my face was not in direct water stream) my entire left eye, all the eyelashes fell out just from brushing them. They were not glued on properly. You can could visibly see glue clustered at the base of the lashes and made them look dirty and as if I never took care of them! I felt like the tech didn't even try. I then decided to go back and get them removed because what I pay for is definitely not worth it only to have them last 3 days, leaving you to looking silly until your next appointment, when your appointments are every 2 weeks. Upon arriving to my removal appointment, they had asked why I was getting them removed and I had expressed that I felt like it was not worth what I was paying for, and that I felt like the tech didn't glue them on properly to just have them fall out so easily. They had told me if I chose to come back to Ilashfactory ever again, that they'll make note so I get a senior tech to do them from then on out. Then proceeded to charge me $25 to remove the mess they put on my eyelashes! I will not be coming back, and have already found a new place (even cheaper) that has been attentive and thorough with their extensions. ** I have heard through the grapevine (can't confirm this is necessarily true) that anyone can come in and work at Ilash Factory. They do not have to be a licensed esthetician, and as long as they take the iLash Factory training on how to do lashes, they can work there. read more

I have really loved my lashes but I do feel like your experience varies depending on the day. I have had two girls each twice and have never had the same experience. Some times my lashes are super full and other times they are thinner even though I paid for a thicker lash. I also have had them glue them on with a thick layer of glue and then a thinner line. I have yet to figure out what to tell them so I get my lashes just right. Hopefully soon I'll find the sweet spot! read more

First off i had to go back a day later cause i just wasn't happy with the fullness of the lashes. I paid $250 & was expecting very dramatic full lashes. I did not get that at all. I also had a huge gap between the lashes on one eye. I went back so they could fix that & add a few more lashes to hopefully give me the fuller look i was wanting but it still just looked like i just put mascara on & combed my lashes out. I had no choice but to be happy with what it was cause i left the next day on vacation. During my vacation i had a lot of fall out & noticed that the lashes were attached to more than one natural eyelashe therefore it was ripping out eyelashes that weren't ready to fall out naturally. I now am back from vacation & they are all out. They lasted about a week & now i have very little natural eyelashes & had to go buy fake lashes from Sally's. I've gotten more compliments on the fake strip lashes from Sally's than i did these one's & they are a lot cheaper & don't pull out your natural lashes. This experience has made me sick to my stomach. I basically just flushed money down the toilet & ruined my natural eyelashes. It's quite an addiction and I love the compliments and the convenience of not having to wear mascara or falsies. Through the years, my eyes have gone through adjustments from allergies to oiliness of my skin, but as long as I communicated that to my technicians, they knew how to handle the situation. I saw a awesome deal for eyelash extentions at iLash on Groupon and wanted to try it out. When you walk in you are greeted and there is a zen feeling (also part of Total Elevation wellness center where they teach yoga) and it is peaceful. They call you back and there are different stations/beds that ate separated by a sheer curtain. The technician will ask what kind of lashes you are looking for, which is based on the thickness and fullness of the lashes. They will place cooling pads under your eyes and make their recommendations. The lash application takes about an hour. Its non-invasive, non-painful and in fact you may feel so comfortable you fall asleep, lol. They will go over after care with you and send home instructions. I highly recommend purchasing the care kit (eyelash extension safe eyeliner, mascara, a sharpener, makeup removal pads, lash sealant and electric hot eyelash curler). It's rather pricey for up keep, which is every two weeks (about $60)!! So, you may just want to get them for a special event. The lashes look beautiful on you and so light weight! Everyone who works there is sweet, kind and knowledgeable. They make an effort to help you and if your lashes just fall off because your lashes aren't compatible with the glue, they will provide complimentary corrections. They have been absolutely stellar with me and I highly recommend going to iLash for beautiful eyelash extensions! read more

Cute place, nice people but lashes did not last. I was in town for work and needed a fill as my travels have kept me away from my home lash place :(. I went in, got a fill, lost a ton of lashes. I called and went back, they told me I'd lost more than half of my lashes so they'd give me 30% off a one week fill and change the glue. Glue change, fill and three days later, falling out again. :( I'm so sad about this! I'm not sure what type of glue they use but it smells like nail glue and I've never even smelled a slight scent of the glue my lash girl uses. First review on here but I felt compelled to say something. I scheduled an appointment here because my normal lash lady couldn't fit me in and I desperately needed a fill for an event coming up. They were able to get me in that same day which was great and were very polite but that's about the only highlight of this whole experience. My lashes look cheap, clumpy and tacky. I showed the woman a picture of what my lashes normally look like and she wasn't even ballpark to the look I usually have. The lashes have been consistently falling out for the past week and I look ridiculous. I cancelled my fill with them and opted to wait for my normal lash lady. With my other lady my lashes are still full 2 weeks out, these looked unstable the same day getting them. Very nice women, but very average technicians. read more
