Although British, he has lived in Italy for most of his life, including in this gorgeous villa. Recommended to him by my Airbnb host who is a local. This experience will go down in the books for me!
His beautiful villa was located off of one of the staircases. There were about 10 or 12 other people. By the end of the night, we were such great friends, that's how Peter brought us all together.
He had in-depth explanations, the food sourcing from Italy, where the local ingredients were caught/grown, how to ensure that it is organic, etc. He has an extensive wine cellar in the basement that we did wine tasting in. Super aromatic red wines that he has.
We cooked fish, made appetizers, chopped tons of vegetables for risotto, made Oso Buco. He showed us how to cook, gave us instructions for our benefit at home.
We sat outside on the bench type seating with beautiful views of the coast.
I would love for Chef Peter to come to San Diego as he said he may. This is my type of dream job to pursue if I ever retire. Thank you, Peter, you were lovely and wonderful!
