This was the type of restaurant I was searching for, a nicer Italian place that didn't seem touristy or questionable. It is located on a busy street, the space inside is big, and the service was pretty good.
You receive a little basket of bread with a side of, I believe, ricotta cheese, but don't recall, just that it wasn't butter. I opted for the gnocchi. I was pretty disappointed by it. The gnocchi itself was pretty mushy, and the sauce was bland...just tomato sauce with no seasoning. Perhaps a different entree would be better, but I found a lot of the food in BA to be bland and underwhelming. read more
