You can get a good Shiraz red wine and a Pinot Grigio white at about 18.50 each which is good value also. Four of us had pizzas of different filling types. The bases are thin and crusty and were well made as this is their speciality for take-away also. The other two of us had pasta dishes, one a tagliatelle with smoked bacon, garlic & mushrooms, the other a penne with beef steak strips (deglazed with Irish Whiskey whatever that means?), also with mushrooms and coriander. The steak pieces were a bit chewy though. All dishes were cleared and all enjoyed their fare. Coffees all round and our bill was €170 which was easily affordable.

Yes. I mean, simply glorious…read more We stopped here after traipsing around New Grange and Knowth, and were VERY hungry. To start, we requested some bread because of all the hunger. This was a good life choice. It was homemade Guinness bread, with the best butter I've ever had in my life, and homemade jam. I could have eaten the entire loaf of that concoction. My husband got the lunch special of beef stroganoff, which was an experience all its own. Creamy, deep flavours of beef and mushroom graced our mouths with its glorious wonder. (This was the ultimate star of the show.) I had the Chicken pesto croque, which would have been the subject of my ultimate laudation on its own if the stroganoff hadn't appeared. The staff was very kind, the food delicious, and the experience overall lovely. Highly recommend it!
