Due to our Chicago weather, many of the posts were rotting out, so it was time to replace. I called that same company for an estimate. They came out, but did not spend a lot of time with me; I was debating between purchasing another wood fence or an aluminum fence. We have a very large backyard so this would be a big project. I also called Paramount for an estimate. The salesman we had was Laura. She spent more than 45 minutes discussing where the Fence should go, how it would look with the house, and the differences between wood and aluminum. Paramount was a little bit higher in price compared to our old company, but the big difference was the expertise and professionalism! Laura was so detailed oriented and continued even after the deposit was made to keep us updated on the progress of our project, due to gates having to be special ordered. It has only been six weeks since installation, so I cannot comment on long-term durability, but I can comment on their initial work. We had a great flood on the Fourth of July, which was only three days after installation! My husband and I were having an anxiety attack since you're not supposed to even open the gate for two or three days after installation. As you can see in the video, the Fence held. If this is a testament on the quality of material and installation, I don't know what could be. I highly recommend Paramount Fence, and a big thank you to Laura for making this experience seamless!

I sent photos of 2 areas of my fence damages in a text message asked for estimate was told $500 or…read morea little more. 1 section had 4-6 slats blown out but were on the ground from the tornado & the back fence was just loose on top section. 1) HE didn't show up the first day came the second day I wasn't home I gave him permission to fix the 2 fences based on Estimate verbally given, apparently one piece was missing so he got attitude and said I thought you said all the pieces were here. 1 apparently was not there so he had to come back he put the one panel in. NEVER DID THE BACK fence at all it's still out on top but he sent me an invoice for $529 & when I said I would write him a check he stated leave the name blank. My answer is NO my check will have the company name as the invoice states & the invoice number. Frank, then says no you need to pay it through zelle. Frank gave me three different numbers (SOUNDS VERY FISHY & suspicious text messages) he was getting angrier by the minute. Hey lady.... I said I don't use Zelle. He finally picked up the check the next day then I noticed he DIDNT even fix the back fence. MY LOSS BUT I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH HIS ADDITUDE ANY MORE. CASH THE CHECK... I noticed the issue & thus have zero leverage, but NOW HES REFUSING TO CASH THE CHECK. So 2 reasons for a bad review. In light of their poor customer service I can NOT recommend Paramount.

I contacted Adam and he replaced some of the boards but the warping continued and our fence now looks terrible. I tried contacting him again to replace more of the warped boards (which he admitted was due to poor quality wood they purchased) and did not receive a response. Two years later, some of the boards are falling off the steel posts. Also, they left nails on our driveway which caused us a flat tire on our car and cost us hundreds to replace. The wood is uneven, not evenly spaced, and doesn't look professional. If you want uneven boards, warped wood, nails left behind, gaps everywhere then go ahead and contact Town Fence.

Great experience from beginning to end working with Jacob Fence…read more THE BID: I had a project with a bit of complexity to it, and I wanted to see a couple different options in the bid that I requested from the 4 companies that quoted the project. Wilfredo at Jacob Fence was the only one of the 4 that showed me all the different options in the bid he provided. His bid was also much much more detailed than the other company's bids. TIMING: Jacob was able to get my project schedule quite quickly. His schedule was as fast or faster than the others who bid COMMUNICATION: Wilfredo was very good about keeping me in the loop on this project. From email and text mssgs he let me know when he was arriving, how permits where coming along, when the crew would arrive etc. I always knew what was going on with Jacobs. SERVICE: Jacobs offered to take care of the permit for me since he was near the city office. Great! Then an issue came up with the permit and Wilfredo was helpful and patient as we went back and forth trying to resolve the city's issues. And because of the permit issues we needed to adjust our plans for the fence and Jacobs was great about working with me to redo bids, adjust etc. WORKMANSHIP: On the day of the install, the crew arrived on time, got busy very quickly and in the end did a nice quality, tidy job. I'd requested some things be done in a very specific way that was a little different than normal. I was concerned that a contractor might not do a great job with steps that were divergent from their typical workflow. With Jacobs crew it wasn't a problem at all. They followed my request and did so very skillfully. In fact, at the end of the project they asked if they could take a few pictures and said they like what I did and would perhaps offer it to other clients. INTEGRITY: Because of the adjustments to the project result from the permit issues, there was less work done than was originally bid. Wilfredo didn't hesitate a moment in adjusting the final invoice. FOLLOW UP: I got a call a few days after the job was done checking to be sure I was happy with the job. SUMMARY: I though every aspect of the project was handled professionally and that everyone I dealt with was friendly, efficient, and very good at their job. I'd use Jacob Fence again and I recommend them to my friends without hesitation

They worked with the city to schedule the inspections. In less than 2 weeks had the gate installed ... it is so beautiful, functional and just perfect.
