I spotted Jason's Deli and decided to stop in. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. And those aromas! I immediately thought, the universe is definitely in play here. The manager was incredibly kind. He asked where I had traveled from, and we had such a nice conversation. Since I was new to Jason's Deli, he even brought me a complimentary sample from the salad bar so I could try it. This weary traveler wasn't surprised by Texas hospitality--but I sure do appreciate it! And the food? Amazing. I had a French dip that would knock your socks off. The au jus was rich and flavorful, and the roast beef was tender and juicy. And the salad bar! What an incredible selection of fresh vegetables. You can tell it's cared for and tended to with pride. After a very long day of travel, this was exactly the kind of welcome I needed. Good food, genuine kindness, and a little Texas hospitality can go a long way.
