Swedish Meatballs, French Fries, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
Michelle H.

IKEA Restaurant is an iconic spot to stop at while shopping at IKEA. The restaurant is known for their Swedish-inspired food (specifically their meatballs) and is essentially a food court with plenty of seating. I think that the service is alright and I would recommend coming here earlier in the day as some food is not available later in the evening. Whenever I come here, my go-to order is the Swedish Meatballs, French Fries, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy. The Swedish Meatballs are extremely delicious! Meanwhile, the French Fries have the right amount of crisp and potato inside and the Mashed Potatoes with Gravy taste great. I think the quality of the food also differs based on the time and day, so just something to keep in mind. Overall, my meal was very hearty. I think everyone should eat here at least once! The meatballs are a classic.

5 Stars Stopped by IKEA Atlanta and couldn't resist the classic Swedish meatballs--so glad I didn't. They were absolutely delicious, served with creamy mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans. Simple, hearty, and hit the spot. Honestly one of the best meals you can grab while shopping. Always a win!

The IKEA food court is always a place you want to stop by whenever you're at IKEA buying/shopping for furniture. It's something that you never really crave but enjoy whenever you have it. Moving back to ATL -- I needed to do some furniture shopping and we stopped by the food court to grab some food. I went on Memorial Day and the place was pretty busy, and the food court had a line. Nevertheless, it didn't take too long. I got the meatball combo with corn & mashed potatoes and I also got a size of mac&cheese (only $1.99)! My friend also got some chocolate cake that I do not remember the name of. The meatballs are always solid. It's a nice flavor that you can never go wrong with, and it's not too heavy either. The mashed potatoes were also pretty good, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the corn/veggies. Also -- make sure to get the lingonberry jam where the condiments are. Absolutely fire. Prices at the food court are also affordable which makes it appealing. There is nothing really extraordinarily special about the IKEA food court but you'll never leave dissastisfied and I think that's the true charm. There's plenty of seating so make sure to stop by the food court on your next trip to IKEA!

Each time I visit this restaurant, I notice a couple of homeless individuals at nearby tables. I usually come here with my children, and it's not always clear if tables are thoroughly cleaned between guests, as we often end up wiping them down ourselves. Given these experiences, I'm not sure it's the best option for dining--at least here in Atlanta. When I needed to feed my 6-month-old son, I was able to warm his bottle in the microwave, which was very convenient. I then went to the mother-and-baby room to feed him, but it was the dirtiest one I've ever seen at IKEA, despite visiting around five stores worldwide. It seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned for weeks, and there was no cleaning schedule posted on the door. It's disappointing, especially since this room is for the youngest customers. Spending 20 minutes in such an unclean space was unpleasant for both me and my children."

This is my third time eating here so take caution. Location near Atlantic station. Good parking, just be cautious of the cars. Folks are serious about those Swedish meatballs, and the madness sometimes starts in the parking lot. My goal was to drop the kiddies in the play area and enjoy my first real meal of the day. Get to the line only to hear the vegetable rolls will be 15 min. Yikes. Well I'm hungry and the lady was pleasant. I wait only to hear their running out of more things. So my suggestion is to time the food better to avoid hangry customers. I wait and wait only to see a customer whose been waiting a shorter amount of time get theirs b4 me. Maybe an oversight but at this point It's neither here nor there. Get my food and start to grub. It was worth it. But this has happened 2 of the 3 times I've eaten here. So ummmm.....

My best discovery since the Dollar Tree! The bistro is primo with $1.75 cheese pizza slices and the crème de la crème $1 cinnamon buns!!!! Upstairs you will find delicious fountain drinks and healthy selections of quality foods and sweet treats! Eat here now!

Chicken meatballs, mixed seasonal veggies, mashed potatoes with gravy and I forget what the red stuff is

Cafeteria style dining experience. I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but I was hoping it was somewhat subpar. This restaurant is on the second level of IKEA! I get the concept but all of the wraps, and salads looked really out of date. Everything is in a cooler uncovered and you grab and pay. They have hot foods but the only options were Swedish meatballs, chicken meatballs, veggies and mashed potatoes. I got the chicken meatballs, with mash n gravy and mixed veggies ($8). The chicken meatballs were so dry and the mixed veggies were mixed with mashed sweet potatoes???? Not very tasty at all! I only at the mashed potatoes. If you're looking for dinning options after a shopping experience, just walk over to Atlantic Station

Happy MLK Day, Who ever is working with IKEA in customer service is no doing their job in a timely manner. I, Bonnie Dale Johnson, placed an order for pickup. Didn't want to pickup, but I had no choice. I received an email stating my scheduled pickup time to be 01/15/2021 from 9:00am-9:00pm. As you can see in my attachment, I received your email on Friday, January 15, 2021 9:51pm. Impossible for me to achieve. I gave up trying to talk with anyone at IKEA, to reschedule my pickup. But what's more unbelievable, IKEA customer service has now canceled my order completely. It's my birthday today, my family, and I are meeting tonight for dinner, I'm doing a gift baskets for them, and wanted to include the candles. Well I can cancel that. Happy Birthday to me. Nevertheless, will share my IKEA Customer Service experience social media later today. Bonnie Dale Johnson Owner of RM2D

First and foremost, I was greeted immediately, but not greeted like the typical used car salesman that follows you around the store. I met Sue, who was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about the pieces in their showroom. I immediately knew I was in the right place, as there was nothing in that store that I did not like. This comes from a picky person. I was in awe of the beautifully crafted and modern furniture. I wanted one of each! Alas, I took one look at a price tag and gasped! They are a bit on the high end, but SO IS THEIR FURNITURE! It far surpasses any furniture store I have ever visited. I spoke to Sue about my needs and she listened intently; a virtue many salesmen lack (me included!). When Sue took me to the back of the showroom and introduced me to the Ekornes line, I KNEW she cared! I was sold at that moment. You see, I have had major back pain that basically runs my life. Sue explained how these recliners are focused on the lumbar spine and actually give it relief. She was absolutely right. I sat on a chair and reclined ... I almost fell asleep. Needless to say I purchased one knowing that it was well worth every penny since my health comes first. The furniture is made in Norway so after choosing the color I liked, I paid a deposit and left. I was so excited about the cool color I chose that I completely forgot that it wouldn't go with anything I owned. I called back and Sue was with a customer. However, Rosa said she would be happy to assist me. She was very kind, and it was obvious these ladies work as a team for the benefit of the owner. Rosa actually took pictures of the different colors and sent them to me so I could choose. Since then, I have mostly dealt with Rosa, who takes me as seriously as if I were one of her own clients. I am incredibly grateful to these ladies for their hard work and their sincerity. THAT is what keeps a business successful. People who listen and people who CARE! Thank you to the owners of Bova, who recognize it's the people; not the pieces of gorgeous furniture, that will continue to lead them to success. Since I've met Sue and Rosa, I would feel too guilty shopping anywhere else! These ladies deserve to be recognized for their dedication and hard work!

Not like it used to be, but maybe I'm older & established not needing so much anymore…read more But wow, still a nice store. Wear your walking shoes & if you are someone who needs breaks now & again know there is a big cafeteria for you to relax. I see folks sitting in the staged rooms as well. I guess OK?! I'll share pics. The kitchen & home decor is downstairs with the furniture & purchase kitchen/bathrooms/bedrooms is upstairs. Even a staffed playroom for children- check them in, shop, pick them up. I guess the costs are still good. Inflation happened, no doubt. I don't see the selections I used to, just over stocked with the same items to fill spaces. You need to experience this yourself. I do not recommend buying from here with their delivery service here in Atlanta. I had to rent a U-Haul and enlist friends to help me get this bookcase, instead of having it delivered. When I live a few blocks from the store. No way I was waiting 2+ weeks. The only good customer service was when I fully canceled the delivery and changed to pickup, the lady on the phone was very nice. They need more delivery drivers and a better system in place for retrying deliveries the next day.
