Meatball plate with mashed potato, gravy and corn
Nancy E.

We took a trip to IKEA today. We had lunch and then shopped around. It wasn't very busy today which was nice. For lunch we got their Swedish meatball plate with mashed potato and corn. I also got one of their cinnamon rolls. The meatball plate was good. The cinnamon roll was a bit dry I think had been sitting around a while. We checked out the shopping. I had forgot they had so much.

the furniture at IKEA is amazing (quality and design included). i went there last week to get some plates and cutlery and decided to look around to gain room design inspo. i absolutely love the way they decorate and design the rooms, which allows everyone to get some ideas for how they want to map out their home. not to mention, the IKEA restaurant is AMAZING! their swedish meatballs are a must try. overall rating: 10/10

My destroyed new wall.

This is a review of my countertop installers only. I wish I had never decided to go to Ikea for a countertop. My remodel cost so much I ran out of money for the countertop. I have a Ikea family card and I had almost purchased my entire kitchen at Ikea but cupboard availability was uncertain and looked like interiors would never arrive. I took my Ikea measurements that I paid $89 for and went to Menards. Got Beautiful cabinets and chose to get my fan and faucet elsewhere also since I found a nicer faucet and a more affordable stove fan elsewhere as well. So I used the Ikea projekt card. But this review is of my Ikea countertop installers LEON'S COUNTERTOPS. They unfortunately are the only contractor Ikea uses. They unapologetically ruined my drywall, new paint and newly installed wall. They PRACTICED on my kitchen as the installers didn't know how to install an Ikea farmhouse sink, center the sink or double check the accuracy of their own work. They drilled the hole for the faucet in the kitchen without a vacuum attachment and put toxic quartz dust in the air which I and my dogs breathed. It covered my kitchen and living area in dust that I am still trying to clean up. It took 6 installers over 3 appointments to install countertops. I paid for countertops 9/9/21. Installation 10/11, 10/13 Inspection of sink 10/25, meeting with Eva Davis in the kitchen department to let her know all the problems 10/29. Final installation 11/2 including the backsplash that was broken on 10/11. This took weeks to arrive as they neglected to order it as they wanted me to accept 2 glued together backsplash pieces! My entire kitchen remodel took 5 weeks. My Ikea countertop installed by LEON'S COUNTERTOPS 7 weeks!! You can read an even more involved review of them under their review. So I do not Recommend purchasing a countertop at IKEA. Furniture yes. But NEVER a countertop, they do not Have the skills and they will unapologetically make you crazy. Not everyone has 4 mornings for kitchen countertop installation. I didn't.

Ordered a desk and got confirmation saying it was delivered but when I went out to check front step and houses around it was no where to be seen. Called the customer services a couple times and waited 20 mins. No response.

IKEA is for the person that likes creative furniture but not pay a fortune. After Covid they have been limiting the capacity which creates a line to get into the store but the line today for the checkout was double the entrance line. Plan ahead, go early.

First lets talk about location...its pretty great, not too far off Hwy 100 and Excelsior…read more There are plenty of other stores in the area, but they have their own parking lot so you don't have to try to scavenge for street parking. I came in specifically to look at Joybird sofas as they are an authorized retailer and have sofas on the sales floor. Its scary to make an online purchase (and such a large, custom purchase) without touching and feeling an item, so I was thrilled to learn this store was so close to home and had what I was looking to purchase. I had a great time working with Kristin. After countless emails and a couple visits to the store I ordered my sofa, and also ended up with a chair and lamp. Kristin was great to offer her designer opinion while listening to mine and helping me make the big decision based on my existing home design. They offer financing (OAC) and 'white glove' delivery (they take all the packaging stuff with them when they leave, set the item in the room of your choosing) just like Joybird, but they will for other items you purchase there, too. The kicker is the 2 week in home trial period. Keep it for two weeks and if you decide you hate it they will take it back to the store and offer you store credit to replace the item. This really eased my worry about spending 2K on a sofa I may not like as much in person. I can't wait until it arrives! They also have home decor items here, like pillows and lamps. Its a super fun place to just look around and get inspiration, or fall in love with a custom fox lamp which would totally look amazing on your nightstand. Or maybe that fun mounted anatomical model of a heart on your desk. Or maybe that chair with acrylic arms. You get the idea... Inventory is changing constantly, so visit often. See you there!

I immediately knew I was going to be at home in this store. There was furniture and accessories, for you neutral people there was plenty of that. For those of us who like color, plenty of that too. My designer Billie was super sweet and let me browse but also let me know that anything can be custom ordered and that this is just a small sampling of what they can get for me. I wasn't sure if I could afford it so I had her price out a chair for me it was $1100 but they had a 20% off sale so it would be $880. I'm new to furniture shopshopping so I went to another store later (La-Z-Boy) and it was comparable to that. I walked in at 20 minutes to closing on a Sunday night, but Billie didn't seem rushed at all. I was the one saying "let's just wrap this up. Can you give me something to look at online?" And she gave me two websites she thought I would like based on our conversations and looking at what they have to offer. I will see where our furniture shopping journey takes me but I plan to be back!

I really love their $1 reusable bags; they're usually displayed on the barrier wall near the check out area. Product selection varies greatly, but patience can pay off sometimes. It's nicely lit and I like the merchandise that I saw. The floor lamps were nice. I wish that I could buy one and bring it back home, but it's not practical bringing such a purchase on a plane. Not a bright idea... haha! I do like the kitchen accessories. The storage containers were pretty, durable, and cool. I liked the Sistema snack containers. I was tempted to get one, but I truly didn't need it. I like how fancy cupcake carriers are getting. Hey, you have to protect precious baked goods when they are on the move. I enjoyed looking at the cell phone accessories, too. There was a cute Mickey Mouse case for an iPhone. It's unfortunate that there isn't a whole lot for Google Pixel phones. Since it's a Marshalls-HomeGoods combo store, they share the same checkout area. It comes in handy when you are purchasing merchandise from both. I like this store. I'd come back again. (110)
