A little gem in the middle of Frankfurt. My friend and I were exploring Frankfurt and we made a pit stop at IIMORI bakery. It had good reviews and we wanted to get some flakey croissants. We walked in and felt like we were transported to France. The interior decorations feature eclectic French and Asian inspired furniture and plates/cups. The chocolate croissants were perfect flakey layers. The latte was also very delicious with a smooth taste.

Great place for Japanese/French fusion drinks, sweets! Breakfast buffet everyday €8,90 (drinks not included). Nice Air conditioned rooms, perfect hide out from hot sunny day! Services has not been as friendly as it used to be tho.

I simply love Iimori. Every time I visit Frankfurt that's a sure stop during my free time. All pastry options are exquisite and very true to the authentic Japanese version (maybe a tad more sweet). Iimori is also a terrific place to have lunch, with a variety of options from classical okonomyaki (a type of Japanese pancake with seafood) and donburi to traditional sushi. The place is very cozy, and service is also great. Probably the only drawbacks are price (just a bit too expensive) and the sheer amount of people that visit the place, so sometimes it might be difficult to find a free table to sit down and enjoy your treats.

Tasty food and cozy atmosphere) In the café area in this restaurant, you can get some really tasty cakes, sandwiches and even more in a unique Japanese-French style.

I was overcharged for no reason & didn't feel welcome. Which sucks because the place itself is very cosy. But that's about it.

Best Japanese desserts I've had! Come here all the time to try something different, but anything with green tea is delicious!

Eat at this cafe! The apple torte is simply amaze-craze. The coffee was great and the cafe is a cute and fun antiquey style.

Yes, they're owned by Japanese, but no, it doesn't mean it's authentic or good…read more We were super stoked to find a Japanese owned restaurant with stellar reviews near our hotel (Yay! No more sausages and potatoes!), but unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. We ordered the Christmas tree special for the 2 of us and it came with lots of rolls, but most of them tasted mediocre. Some of the raw fish weren't even fresh. Also, the sauces didn't go well with the sushi. Maybe my standards are too high because I'm from California. It's sad to say that the sushi at our Japanese supermarkets are better than this. Service was a bit slow, but our waiter was very polite and friendly. If you're looking for a quality Japanese restaurant, this isn't the place to be.

We headed over to Sakura and were immediately welcomed by the Japanese host. He was very patient and quickly arranged a table for us in their quaint covered courtyard. The fact that all 7 of us could drop in on a late Saturday afternoon with no reservation was amazing. Our waiter was at least tri-lingual and very attentive with our requests (not gonna lie...some people in this group are needy). Food arrived fairly quickly and was phenomenal. Some of the best sushi I have had in Europe! 10/10 will be back!

We also tried the gyouza and karaage which were very good. The staff were Japanese and very nice. The restaurant website and phone number do not seem to be working right now but it is definitely open. It's not possible to make a reservation and you just have to show up and wait in line. It moves quickly though. This is very much like how it is in Japan. Highly recommended! Thank you!

I would guess the baby is about a year old, and they had to stand in the cold to wait for the table. In the meantime, there were seats & tables available inside, and even there is space available for everyone to wait inside. After waiting for 20 minutes, I waited another 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging there is a customer waiting for a many. I had to request the waitress to rush my order (I was ready to leave). The noodle was served quickly, this is the only thing that made me happy. When I picked up the noodles with the chopsticks, I noticed there was a good-sized noodle lump sitting in the soup. I had to constantly push the lump to the side of the bowl. The soup base was so thick and sticky. This would normally happen when the noodle is cooked in the soup base and the starch makes the soup sticky. However, I believe the ramen should be cooked in hot water separately before the noodles are added to the soup base. I ordered the Cha Shu Ramen, and the two thin slices of Cha Shu were so sad....my noodles shouldn't have cost me 26 Euro. I want to say it is overcharged. I am ok to pay 26 Euro, but you need to give me the 26 Euro worth of food and service. I am surprised to see such a high rating for this restaurant.
