Was staying in a hotel not far from here. From beginning to end, the experience was good; however, the coffee was nasty. The server could have removed it from the ticket, but I didn't want to make a big deal about it. I had the biscuits and gravy combo, which can be used with the all-you-can-eat pancakes for gratis. When me and my boyfriend first walked in we were greeted by the host saying "what do you want?" We found this incredibly rude and discussed it amongst ourselves. When we were sat we waited 15 minutes just to get waited on. When our waitress finally arrived, we ordered chocolate milk and two of the waffle meals. We got our drinks out fairly early but after that it took nearly 40 minutes just to get served the rest of our food. We also didn't get refills on our drinks and we weren't checked on once. The place was filthy, all of the tables weren't clean and we only watched the busser (who was also the host) clean one of them in the hour we were there. The restaurant wasn't busy, there were 10 people max in the establishment. Why clean up wasn't dealt with baffled both me and my boyfriend. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience and we will NEVER be back!!! read more

This IHOP is easily located across the mall and shares the block where Walmart and Jack in the Box sit. It is always well lit, clean most of the times as well as the restroom facilities. Service is like rolling the dice with maybe only 2 bad sides. Most of the time I have gotten good service but a few times I'd wish I would have just settled down to the neighboring conglomerate of other eateries immediately near by. I'll always be a returning patron though. I had the pleasure of enjoying their free pan cakes on the "free pan cakes" campaign and they were not old or pre made. If you do a search for IHOP, Google shows that there is one a few miles from there but do not waste your time, this is the real McCoy. read more

Love IHOP just not this location. Always have issues when going but return every now and then to see if they've changed, and nope not this time either. Not busy whatsoever and waiter was still taking his time and never gave us the refills we asked for. I had the omelette with the avocado on top the picture will show you the worst. I ate the main part because i was hungry and paid for it because i ate it. But left to the side the nasty avocados that were on top and a nasty tomato, and the stems form the peppers all of this was on top. The picture will look like meat but look closer it's avocado that has turned real dark. Its either old or sat out too long. Now normally i font blame the waiter for the food but since it was right on top where he could see it and still brought it out he is just as much to blame. read more

I placed an order on Doordash, sirloin tips and scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, and a short stack of pancakes. Order arrived : sunny side up eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and chocolate chip pancakes. I called the restaurant and spoke with Markisha. At first, she wrote my name down and told me I could come and get something for free, but I couldn't leave work. I went online and placed a drink order through Doordash, gave her my order again over the phone. Markisha went above and beyond! I got my order plus some for the inconvenience. That's great customer service and having to work a 16 hour shift at work and not get the right food was very frustrating!! Thank you so much Markisha for making things right! I love IHOP but this one is absolutely disgusting! First it took forever to get seated, which made no sense because it was Not busy at all. she forgot our coffee, then had to make another pot, so we had to wait even longer. Then when we received our meals, nothing was edible. The hash browns were still raw, the bacon was microwaved, the pancakes were over cooked. It's sad to say the best thing on our plates were the sausage. When we received our bill, we had a problem with the extra hash browns. Since the hash browns were not done all the way, we asked her to take them off because we clearly couldn't eat them. The lady tried to argue and say she took them off, it was just the taxes on our bill, which wasn't true. They were still clearly on our bill. Unacceptable! I'll never return and I'd advise everyone else to never go here. read more

Rudest manager I think I've ever seen at a restaurant - IHOP in Port Arthur, TX. Told her I would let people know. Bacon they brought was almost raw and one pancake had uncooked batter in it. Requested bacon to be cooked more & came back burnt & cold. Requested again, came back burnt & hot. Tried to tell mgr they had a problem in kitchen so she decided to get defensive and argue about it. Her answer repeatedly to everything was "I gave you your money back" (~$1.50). She was rude and disgusting. Besides this, the service was very slow and the place was smelly. Service can be hit or miss at some IHOP's, but recently when we came in they were spot on. The waitresses are attentive to your needs and I saw them working across sections and helping out customers in general. The stuffed French toast was hard, another persons meal was cold as well. Our food took 45 minutes to come out and when it did it was cold. We were a group of 13 and each of us ordered a variety of breakfast foods and beverages. I had the blueberry pancakes with sauce plus hash browns and coffee. With so many in our group it took awhile (10-15 minutes) for the waiter to come around and collect our beverage orders, but he was efficient and brought them to us within 5 minutes. He was efficient with taking our food orders as well as returning with our food in a reasonable amount of time. The only error was he brought my wife a plate of pancakes instead of the plate of hash browns she ordered ( as her side ). The coffee was excellent, and so was the food and service. read more

We were rushed the entire time, our waitress kept coming to our table within 30 seconds or a minute asking if we wanted anything else or to go boxes after we just got our food. Since I was seated in plain view of the kitchen, I was able to witness that the reason of the delay was due to the servers and cooks debating on which one of their "gangs" were better. This location is in a nice area that is convenient to anyone making the run from Beaumont to Port Arthur. It's a "modern" IHOP building and can seat quite a few folks. The service here was good, given that they were slammed. The food was good, consistent IHOP, so that was nice. Lastly, the place was clean. Some IHOPS don't keep the floors and booths clean in the rushes, but this place does well. read more
