Went here very early with my husband. Restaurant was deserted. Nobody but the two waitresses and the cook in sight. Seated right away. Ordered and then waited a good 30 to 40 minutes for our food. I was shocked it took so long being so empty. Food was ok. Not great. My husband found a hair halfway through his omelette and couldn't eat another bite. My sandwich was also stone cold. Don't have any plans to ever return. read more

We went to breakfast there 3/1/18 my husband's hashbrowns and sausage was burnt. My pancakes were crisp and tough. When paying for our meal the waitress handed me the receipt to sign said thanks and didn't even wait for me to sign. Now I know why there was only 2 other people in the restaurant. My wife and I waited ten minutes to be seated restaurant was maybe 75% full, young man at the desk pointing his finger in people's faces to identify them and get names was particularly annoying. Once seated waited for about 15 minutes and still were not served. Walked out and went to Denny's were seated promptly and had coffee on the table and order placed by friendly waitress within minutes. IHOP needs to get their act together at this location or they are going to loose customers. read more

My wife and I have made it a tradition to come to IHOP early in the morning before we begin our 12-14 hour drive back home to the California Bay Area. We've had the same experience every time. Quick service, friendly waitresses, fresh coffee and orange juice. It's a nice location just off the freeway. Have never had a bad experience, and intend to keep our tradition going. I live in Omaha and was in town for a funeral. I thought I would take my family to IHOP. They had a deal kids eat free one with every adult purchase. Our waiter was friendly but the wrong items kept getting sent to our table. The food was OK at best. I Ordered the country fried chicken. It was large but not very tasty and it was greasy. I think if your going to go to IHOP stick with the pan cakes. read more

The worst service I've ever had. Took about 10 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. It was 2 coffees and a kids apple juice. Then another 20 minutes after that to order. She knew we were ready she kept telling us, be with you in a minute. The food was cold and did not look appetizing. There was maybe a handful of people in there when we came in. The hostess was very nice. But the service was horrible, we were sat in a booth with food on the seats and stuff on the table. Then our waters were brought to us and the rim of my glass was covered in lipstick. We were brought dirty cutlery, and one of our orders was completely botched. My wife's broccoli was burnt. Didn't know it could be burnt. It looks as if the whole dish was hurriedly microwaved badly. Also I asked for a ceasar salad, and only got lettuce and chicken with some Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. No croutons, nor ceasar dressing. Had I asked for no dressing or croutons it would have been spot on. But alas I was hoping for the whole salad and got half. I was also surprised to have to wait until the end of my meal to have to ask for a refill of my water. What was more surprising was that my family was the only people in the whole restaurant. You would think that without other tables to wait on we would have been better taken care of. I guess we now know why the whole place was deserted at 5:30 in the evening. I usually don't pay attention to bad Yelp reviews, but in this case it was spot on. read more

I ordered two simple BLT sandwiches. On one order, I asked for hash brown potatoes and on the other one, I asked for extra bacon and fruit, as my side. What I did get was a double sandwiches, costing extra money, plus the one sandwich that I got that had the fruit, when I went to open up the sandwich, I couldn't figure out what was going on. It turns out they claim they put eight pieces of bacon on my whole double sandwich. But the half that I'm looking at here doesn't even have one piece broken into little pieces on the halfs. They put the bacon in the front of the sandwich, where you cut it, so you see all this bacon but the rest of Sandwich, nothing. I went back, and talked to the manager this morning. She felt she compensated me with a $5.00 card. Dumb me, I ate the first half, it was a to go order, so she would not do More. read more

My wife and I visited IHOP in Pocatello this last weekend, They are open for 24 hours now. This restaurant has really turned around! We came for breakfast, were seated fast, the server was very nice, and we got our food really quick, it was delicious!! Zero complaints. While we enjoyed our meal we logged onto there free wifi. What a great experience, we will be back soon! read more

We ordered at 520. At 620 our food still wasn't out and we just decided to leave. The waiter said they only had one cook in the back. IHOP is usually a great place to eat but not in Chubbuck. Get a manager that knows how to schedule enough cooks during busy times. Don't go here until they get a manager that knows what they are doing. read more

Walked in, took 10 minutes to be seated at a half empty restaurant. When we got to our table it was sticky and had food all over the seats. I felt myself step on something under our table and it was a dirty old spoon. Our waitress Italia only came to our table twice. Outside of that we could hear all the servers playing in the kitchen shooting dirty rags into the garbage like it was a basketball hoop. We also got to hear their conversation about their favorite pain medication they like to talk. The table behind us ordered waters and it took them 15 min to bring it out to them. My wife and I got up and just asked for our check to leave. At the point the table behind us got up as well and was joking about how terrible the service is. waited for 5 solid minutes to be sat in an almost empty restaurant, finally got seated, never got offered coffee or water, as i looked around at the other 5 tables i noticed only 1 of them had food, only saw 1 waitress waiting tables, after 10 minutes of waiting to even get something to drink, we finally just walked out and went to Denny's...service was outstanding!...i will not be going back to ihop, from now on its Elmers or Dennys. read more

Waited over an hour for our food. Tried to find our waitress but apparently she left. Another waitress told us that it would only take a few more minutes. It took closer to twenty. It was so slow that somebody should have noticed is just sitting there. Similar things have happened at this establishment in the past. I had a great time at the Pocatello Ihop. I had a breakfast sampler this morning that was cooked perfectly. I was able to sub my pancakes for a waffle which ended up being the best part of my meal. I was very impressed with the greeting I received and the speed of service. I am pleased to see that IHOP is under new management and met my expectations. thank you IHOP. read more

our plans were changed and we decided to go out for Thanksgiving dinner. After doing a drive around town we found we were limited to golden coral(neither my husband or myself enjoy buffets so that was ruled out.) Dennys, ihop or fast food. He had never been to the pocatello ihop and i hadn't been in years, so to ihop we went. As to be expected they weren't very busy. We immediately ordered their cinnamon cocoa, which was very tasty. the turkey dinner didn't look appealing at all so we went with a hamburger and the steak tip dinner. The hamburger was okay, not great, but fine. The steaktips were tasty although their mushrooms and onions were too blackened leaving most inedible. The corn was overcooked and the instant mashed potatoes were made with half the water they needed to be acceptable instant mashed potatoes. Not being very busy our waitress was very attentive and nice. If not for the food it would have been a very pleasent dinner. Guess we should have just gotten pancakes, hehe. read more
