Was not what I expect from Ihop. It was below their standards and mine. It took a long time to get our order out and we were wishing we had gone to waffle house it was taking so long. Table was sticky we had to ask several times for more coffee. On our return trip to TX from Ga we made the mistake of stopping here again not relizing it was the same one . This time after waiting half an hour we got up and paid for our coffee and tea then went two doors down to waffle house. Sorry Ihop you have lost a liftime customer. You used to be my favorite breakfast chain now you have forced me to go to the place I refer to as the awful house . Order took more than 45 minutes to be delivered to our table! Then, the order was not prepared correctly at all! My husband told them to just cancel his order due to bad preparation and service. While the staff appeared to be clueless and unfamiliar with the menu, causing a delay in receiving our food, I must commend them for their politeness and effort in addressing the issue. We walked in and immediately spoke with the hostess to be seated. She turned away from us and stared at the dining room for 5 minutes. The dining room was not full. A coworker came up and a waitress signaled we could be seated in her area, but the hostess just walked off and went into the kitchen. Do not eat here. We walked in starving, the manager seated us and said someone would be with us shortly. Other people came in and were waited on. After some time we stopped the manager and said we hadn't been waited on. He motioned for the girl waiting on the next table and said for her to get our order. She said that's not my table. He proceeded to act like he was berating her in front of us and told her to take our order. We ordered two coffees and gave her our food order. Hubby got up and went to restroom and also out to car to get a coat because it was freezing in there. I stayed put. Same waitress came by and asked if she could take MY order. I said you took my order and she said oh, I thought you all were a walk out. She said I threw your ticket away so I'll need to retake your order. She leaves. Hubby comes back in and is looking for coffee. No coffee. Everyone around has drinks. Hubby is getting mad. Another server comes to our table and says that he will be taking our order. We order a second time. No drinks come. Hubby flags manager and says we still don't have coffees. Manager proceeds to tell us that he is waiting on 7 tables and training several new staff and pointed to a table that came in 15 minutes after we did and said they still done have their drinks. They had been there a total of 5 minutes. We finally get our coffees in the little thermal pot on our table and we are so happy. The coffee was Luke warm coming out. Hubby stops manager again to tell him about lukewarm coffee and he proceeds to tell us again how busy he is and he will help us after he gets the other table drinks. I started to wonder if there was a hidden camera. This manager was the worst I have ever encountered. I guess you could say the girl made a better prophet than a waitress because we finally walked out. We never got our food while other folks got theirs. Save time and frustration and go to Cracker Barrel or Waffle House. read more

This place is in need of a good manager. Hostess hid in the kitchen while people waited to be seated. Only 5 or 6 tables in the place had customers. Kids in training were trying but lacked supervision. 3 people to clean one table and the left it so wet the people that were seated had to dry it off themselves. The customer was handed a hand full of napkins to do the job themselves. Carafe coffee was not hot and the hash browns were on the grill for so long they dried out. This place needs a good trainer and an active manager to keep the staff from hiding out in the kitchen. There are still people waiting to be seated. read more

A few nights later a friend of mine and myself were looking for a place open kind of late(9pm). This place showed open online updated by management last few weeks. The table next to us got up and left. Their burgers were not cooked. 3 of the 4 items we are ordered were wrong. Then they charged me for things I didn't order. Mareo provides excellent service. Ihop is ihop. Never going to be great. Noone expects it to be. Mareo should be recognized for providing excellent service to our party of 8 including three kids. He listened to our requests, noone waited long. He also kept other tables happy as well. Ihop should take care of Mareo or someone else will. read more

Say look. These mfs leave the phone off the hook so you can't call in. There's a 24 on the building and it's not a 24 hour restaurant I got off one day walked in and the whole staff was in the kitchen for 30 straight minutes couldn't call them to attract attention bc the phone said they were busy yet I was standing in there alone so that wasn't possible. Took 30 minutes to get my food being the only customer and ts wasn't even allat fr fr I felt like they owed me in the end for the overall experience and for how they are ruining the ihop name and chain. Definitely could do better with better management and protocols. Place has gone down hill. We were staying at the hotel Nextdoor so we decided to walk over after a long day of driving. The restaurant only had 2 other tables occupied when we got there. It took the server 7 minutes to acknowledge us at the table and didn't seem overly happy to be at work tonight. She took our drink and food order at the same time. No more than 5 minutes later our food was on the table.... so A+ on speed... we had our food but still no drinks. After reminding her of our drunk orders we got them and the sides of our glasses were disgusting smeared with dried food partials. Negative stars if possible I don't want to get into it but this place is super dirty. The ceiling inside the place is covered in dust to the point you can't see the ceiling tiles. There's nothing wiped, silverware was crusted with food and staff was unprofessional. We couldn't tell who worked here since no one was wearing any sort of clothing or name badges that identify them as an employee. Service is painfully slow. We stopped on our way to the coast. We were waiting patiently. We arrived at 6:53 am. They seated us and took our drink order. The drinks were taken by one person and our waitress was someone different (Diamond). Other folks came in and their orders came out way before ours. When the order finally gets to the table it was wrong. The manager brought the food and asked for the rest of the order. Then asked for a refill and never came back. The fruit was very mushy on the melon and the grapes seemed frozen. When I complained at the register I was told that the rush doesn't usually start until 9. That's an unsatisfactory answer. There will not be a next time at this location. When you get the bill for $42 and you deal with this type of answers it makes it worse. We should have left then after getting a table from the most unhappy hostess I have ever seen. We decided to stick it out. My second cup of coffee had a bug in it and we got that at about the same time as we got our food. I picked up my fork to maybe eat it and there was smeared food still on it from the previous user. The staff and manager were unfriendly and bothered that we were here. Also, the other person at the table ordered link sausage and it was cold. After seeing the bug in my coffee and the food on my fork and the cold sausage, we decided not to eat there. They did not even take our food off or give us a discount.
