Stopped in for breakfast this morning. The good our food came out fresh, hot and as ordered. The not so good. Had to ask our server several times for the things that were supposed to come with the meal. Like salsa, the correct side of pancakes and coffee. I really think they could become a top notch place to go with a good manager and better trained servers. You can tell that they are friendly but really don't have the dining room experience or know how. read more

It was crazy busy in there but they still did so wonderful!! Always had smiles on their faces. Cheyenne was AMAZING! So sweet and kind and made sure to check up on us even though it was busy! Food was very good and everything looked clean. Thank you Cheyenne for the amazing service!!! read more

Much improved IHOP. Clean. Nice music playing. Attentive staff. The food prices are better. $6.00 excludes coffee which is unlimited. read more

After eating here my dad and I both felt sick & disgusted. Servers hands looked like they came out of a bucket of grease. Also on top of that it was overpriced. Very quiet in there. read more

We used to go to IHOP constantly in Kansas and when we saw they were building one here we were like oh my gosh we are going!! But we went in and waited and finally got sat down! Then got our menus and waited.......no water, coffee, which we asked for! Nothing! No one came for over 15 min! Finally she came took it n we waited some more, breakfast came n it was trash!! Horrible greasy, nasty food n of course cold. We left n yes we told them n no we still paid. We've never went back. read more

Service was adequate. Little disconcerting that commercials about the $6 menu but I was not given or seen a $6 menu. Kids meal did not include drink which bumped the cost up to $10. Next time I ll let them drink water But we'll go back cause kids liked it and the restaurant is kid friendly read more

Not professional at all , smelled like pot when we walked thru the door, took 40 mins to get our food, no refills on the drinks that cost 3.19$ for a little cup no name tag handing me a weed pen then was like "sorry wrong pin" read more

Does this place have actual humans working? It seems like forever before they actually talk to you. When they do they say "Be with you shortly", with an empty parking lot. Expect 20-30 mins to be seated read more

stay away. last time food was bad and overpriced. decided to give one last chance as breakfast options at 10am not plentiful in Jeff city. went as a single and waited 5 minutes for servers to argue who was taking the single. After waiting 15 minutes to order I walked out pass 3 servers leaning on register. 6 servers on floor 5 total diners. guess I was in the way of them doing nothing. not hard to see why it's 2 stars. I'm done will go hungry from now on when in Jeff City. Somebody please open a greasy spoon I'm begging you!! read more

Where's the button for 0 stars? Terrible service! I waited & waited & no one would take an order or help me get seated. Very disappointed, very frustrating. I know the food prices are pretty high, and I was okay with that, but getting service like this makes me never want to return. Leaving this review on an empty stomach. If this place closes down it will probably be better for Jeff City. read more

Great service and good. I love IHOP pancakes because they're consistent no matter which IHOP you dine in...super fluffy and tasty. Our server was very nice and super accommodating of our baby girl. Would definitely go here again. Inside was pretty quiet when we went, not super clean but clean enough, I guess. That is one thing that could be improved, but I do understand a bit of grime due to morning rush combined with understaffing can lead to such an appearance, at times. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible...slow service, they burned the crepes that I ordered and there was almost no bacon on the bacon omelet.

Close this restaurant down already, rude and neglecting staff alongside incompetent cook staff and management that would reather look good then take care of their business. The food was more abysmal than the slop the local fast food slings for a quarter of the price. The tables are 75% sticky or 25% lacking service neither are a great option when dining out to eat. I have ordered multiple items from soggy omelettes to hairy pancakes to raw burgers. It's almost legendary how bad the service and food is. However one time and one time alone, they made a decent batch of hasbrowns that were fully cooked. 1/100 IHOP corporate, please close down this branch. read more

One of the best Ihops I have been to in a while fast service nice staff and hot yummy food!! It wasn't very loud or quiet and I could take a phone call in the restaurant read more

I was very happy walking into this restaurant thinking it would be a pleasant experience as I had not been in a while but it ended up being the complete opposite. If I could give this experience a zero I would. I sat in this restaurant for over 40 minutes and did not receive any food. I watched as other parties that came in 15 to 20 minutes after me get served and not once did staff or management ask if we were doing ok or give an update on what was going on. My party didn't see our waiter until the manager brought the food to the table behind us who got there 20 minutes after we did. Our waiter said we should be getting food shortly and she would go check on where the food is. I still sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for food. The last straw for me was seeing two separate parties of 3 plus people receive their food when they had only been in the establishment 15 minutes meanwhile I had been there for 40 plus minutes. I spent 40-plus minutes waiting for 3 pancakes, scrambled eggs, French toast, and fries. Even as I was walking out of the restaurant the head hostess did not acknowledge that my party was leaving but instead smiled as they went to serve another table that had come in 10 minutes prior. That was the most disrespectful dining experience I have experienced and it makes me not want to patronize this establishment anymore. read more

Got sat at a table and no one ever came to wait on us. We waited for 10 minutes without service before getting up and leaving the restaurant. We've never had a good experience at this location but this one topped all of the other bad ones. Best bet is to go somewhere else to eat and don't bother wasting time with this poor excuse for a restaurant. read more

Don't come here!!!! They were out of biscuits, took way to long to get the food, they weren't very friendly. The food was okay, the pancakes were burnt, and eggs were undercooked. The silverware was dirty but the rest of the place was clean. The woman's bathroom sucked. Only one stall was usable, there was no paper towel or dryer. read more

Small crappy breakfast for premium prices. $45.00 for breakfast. Never again. Service sucked too.

My grandfather and I walked in and were greeted by two employees actively cleaning. Everything was clean, but of course it smelled a bit chemically at the entrance. Though that was the only con too the visit! Our server David was so nice. Some servers smile on their face, he was smiling in his voice and on his face which is something I dont see often when I dine in places. We had small orders. A short stack of pancakes and strawberry cream crepes. They were both too die for and delivered fairly quick. Will come back! read more

Service was terrible. Waitress came back maybe two times after giving us our drinks. that included taking our order and bringing us our (cold) food. Would not recommend wasting your money here. read more

The food was excellent and nice sized portions. The staff was very friendly and our waitress Angel was wonderful. We just moved from Las Vegas NV and would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting or living here. Will be a regular stop for us. Give them all the stars. read more

The Jefferson City location is out of sugar packets now for a least a week and out of sugar overall for over a month. Our waitress is sweet and as accommodating as possible under the circumstances of no hot or sweet tea or coffee (unless you want fake sugar). The floors are slippery/slidey. Where is the manager??? read more

Traveling through our family stopped at this IHop and it was horrible. The service was terrible and the food was even worse.

The manger was very rude and was talking on her phone while taking our order I wouldn't come back here bc she didn't let us have what we wanted to eat here bc of a food allergy. but the other guy has only worked here a week and was very sweet and respectful to use and try to help us out. I work at a restaurant myself and I would of got fired the first day if I was like that manger acting like that read more

Worst experience ever. We usually enjoy IHOP but in this case, it makes us never want to come back again. No organization for the waitresses at all. When we finally ordered, the waitress just scribbled something down on a piece of scrap paper. My husband ordered a spicy beef bowl and was brought shrimp and fries! I asked for a separate plate 3 times as well as the hash browns. Never received either! I ended up eating my eggs off of my napkin!! We also asked for a refill on our drink. Never received it. If you're going to run a restaurant or even attempt to do so, isn't customer service supposed to be top priority?? Well you failed. Miserably. read more

Went to IHOP in Jeff city today. Was so Unpleased with my service. Nasty. That's all I have to say. Nasty food. The waitress was not friendly and had on a dirty sweatshirt. Never going back.

Visited here with my fiancée and was disappointed with the service. Manager didn't seem to know restaurants own table numbers and servers came to us 2 different times with other customers orders; this also occurred at other tables around us. Ordered our food and waited over 35 minutes; others seated after us received their food and ate by the time we got ours. Also when they clean the tables they wipe the seats and then take the same rag to wipe the tables that customers eat off of. Disappointing and unhygienic especially during COVID-19. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Ordered my food online and got a notification they were wrapping up with my order. The employees were either outside, in the rest room, or just not preparing the food. No wonder Ihop has a bad review, they need better service/employees. Worst service I have ever experienced here. read more

I swear to God, I've lived in this town for over a year and didn't realize there was an IHOP! If it were a snake, it would have bitten me. I love a good IHOP visit, and this location was no exception. It was busy, but the wait wasn't too long. The food came out super fast and the people watching was on point. I'm glad this is one of the establishment to, so far, avoid the retail apocalypse. read more

$21.00 (almost) for three pancakes, 4 pieces of undercooked bacon and overcooked hash browns is ridiculous. This was my first time here. Since they opened (2016?) I've heard service was awful. I went late afternoon. Was practically empty. I was seated quickly and had to listen to two or three wait staff "figuring out" who's table I was. Sara begrudgingly came over eventually. Her demeanor was lackluster at best. No, I didn't expect royal treatment, but her lack of smile and eye contact was disquieting. I felt unwelcome. The only time she cane by to check if all was ok was moments before I finished. Within less than a minute of finishing a managerial type was whisking my plates away. Felt rushed. The New York cheesecake pancakes were good. Fluffy and warm. Strawberry and whipped cream topping good also. I won't be coming back here. The Columbia IHOP is terrific. read more

Come prepared for a long wait. 45min to get food in a restaurant that was half full with plenty of staff. Management just walks around and makes excuses instead of stepping in to help her staff. Watched several customers just decide to leave after waiting for too long. When the food finally came out it looked like it spent 20 min on the warmer before being brought out. And as expected at the end every check had a mix match of different people's order. So if you still decide to come just go ahead and plan for a day trip to the IHOP. read more

I usually love Ihop but skip this one. Bad, bad, bad service. Didn't take our order correctly, and didn't bring it all out. Had to put in another order for the rest of our food. Do not bother eating here. Save your time and money and grab something from McDonalds. This place is just a mess. We went at about 11:30 am today, and it's clear that while they have a lot of people working, there is no one coordinating their functions or activities. There's no one seating people, no one cashing people out...it's just totally chaotic. I understand being super busy and backed up, but that should mean you wait longer for a table or longer for your food. It shouldn't mean that you don't get any utensils and your food comes out one plate at a time after much prompting and reminding. I feel bad for the servers because they must not be making anything at all in tips, and it's obviously a management issue. Also, as others have noted, the glasses are really dirty. read more

We arrive to IHOP at 10 o'clock in the morning and within five minutes we were shown to our table given menus and had three waters. About two minutes later we placed our order. Then for the next 55 minutes we waited at the booth for food that never came. After 40 minutes and asked asking twice where is our food? The waitress finally stop by and explain that they had to serve everybody on the opposite side of the restaurant first. I ask her why you would do that since we are got to the restaurant first. She had absolutely no answer for that. Just looked at me and walked away then five minutes later she came back and said it's just gonna be a second, I ask her how long a second has because it's already been 45 minutes. She goes oh it's coming right up. We gave her 10 more minutes and still nothing. my husband, my son, and I got up and walked out but I wanted to tell her to never mind our food. So I walked into the kitchen and then I see our food sitting waiting to be picked up and delivered to our table. If you have two hours to waste, if you don't care, if your food is hot or cold, if you don't care if they're overcharging you, if you want other people to come before you, and have your order screwed up or just absolutely ignored. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is the absolute best restaurant to go to if you just want to be ignored. Otherwise steer clear. read more
