We've eaten at I hop for years because of the great pancakes, coffee, service and omelettes. I would have to say, they struck out on 2 of those big time. The pancakes not only sucked they were cold. My hash browns were cold and d the omelette my wife got wasn't anywhere close to what she ordered. The panlano and peppers were no where to be found in her spicy pablano omelette. So yes it's a ihop once known as ihob and fortunately once again ihop. We stopped here on teh way to hill country. They feature friendly service and a fantastic omlette. They customized a burrito bowl for my wife by serving it over salad. The chocolate chip pancakes were fine but the other daughter got the NY Cheesecake pancakes and the featured cheese cake bites were mia. Restrooms were clean. It's as good as any place for a stop along teh way when fast food ain't your thing. read more

We went here yesterday with some friends while we were on a road trip. It was 2:00 pm so a late lunch. My wife and I had the 55+ menu. She had the BLT and I had the Turkey swiss sandwich. We both had onion rings. Her BLT was an excellent sandwich and my turkey swiss was also very good. We agreed the onion rings were the best we have ever had. Our friends both had the 55+ breakfast and they said it was very good. Our server(Michelle) was awesome. She was very attentive and courteous. They use tiny coffee cups and I never ran out. I'm in Hillsboro TX for work. First time I've ever tried IHOP for anything besides breakfast. I ordered online waited until the time they said it would be ready, went inside and received my food within 2 minutes. In and out very quickly. The food was really good. I got the Crispy chicken jalapeño sandwich with onion rings. The bun was not the usual fast food bun. Purple onions, fancy pickles, and the cheese, all really fresh and hot. We called in before noon to let the restaurant know we would have a party of 20 coming later that evening, they said they could accommodate, however when we showed up they were very unprepared. They did not let us know that they had one grill down until the first hour had passed, yes I said first. Not only did our food come out one at a time with about 5 minutes in between but they also forgot an order, got one wrong (after being reminded several times) and brought out pancakes that were raw. The two waitresses we talked to were really nice; but overall was slow which based on my view of the kitchen and the waitresses; it seemed that there was only one person manning the kitchen which explained the delay in getting our food out. If we end up back in the area and are not in any sort of rush to do sit down we'll stop back by here; otherwise we'd stop at a fast food joint which in this immediate area of the hotel we stopped at there are plenty. read more

Food on floor and the staff was hanging with friends at tables and laughing in the back? Wow. They had a water outage but that doesn't excuse using cleaning products does it? Stopped because I am a big fan of IHOP. This specific restaurant location is horrible. Service was poor and my pumpkin pancakes were extremely small. I saw all of the other pancakes nearly overflowing the plates but mine were basically just a dollop. I had to pay extra for the speciality pancakes and was cheated in price as well as portion. We were in the community for a family wedding and staying nearby. We had a late breakfast here 3 days in a row. The food was well prepared. The bacon was really good and the pancakes weren't overly sweet. Partner had strawberry crepes one time and found them mediocre. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and seasoned just right. Yummmmy lunch ! My jalapeno burger was great.. and guess what !! It looked just like the pretty pic in the menu !! Grilled onions, jalapenos and a brioche bun. YUMM. And I was able to get pancakes as my side . The food was great... however the restaurant was a bit untidy. The salt shaker was sticky and gross on top... the salt was to clumpy to shake out. We tried salt shakers from other tables and all had the same issue.
