The food was really good. They let me order a kid's meal as I wasn't super hungry. The server was very nice and let us enjoy our food with just the right amount of attention. Not sure why this IHOP got all the hate. Looking at the reviews, a good of them were during the pandemic through now. One thing to remember, this restaurant in this small town, just like other restaurants in major cities, are also struggling with staffing and supply chain issues. Another thing, this restaurant is INSIDE A CASINO, so yes, expect a wait. Come with the expectation that you'll have to wait at least 30 minutes. All that being said, we drove about 15 minutes from my Dad's house to IHOP to take him to breakfast. We got there and there was a line. When we finally got to the hostess, she said it'd be a 30 minute wait, which we were fine with (the last time was 30 minutes also). We only ended up waiting about 30 min. PRO TIP: If you wanna go gamble while you wait, you'll be provided with a buzzer to let you know when your table is ready. This is my dad's jam. Being 78, he always finds things he loves (can't pry him away from breakfast items). Who can blame him? And honestly, neither can we - I mean, who doesn't love breakfast? IHOP's in general are a good place to go if you're desperate at odd hours or if you enjoy hair in your food. I've never been to any chain restaurant that has consistently produced a long hair in my food. And I've been to multiple locations. I have just stopped going to them altogether. read more

A solid 3 due to thieve pancakes looking and tasting like the ones you get at hotels breakfast Buffet , Out of the automatic pancake maker, no flavor. Bacon so thin you actually could see through it. I had the chicken and waffle with bacon and cheese, it was pretty good. I normally don't go to IHOP in San Antonio, but will come back to this one again when I'm in town, it's the better choice compared to the other restaurants here. The tables and area were very clean. read more

Me and my family waited 55min to be seated then waited an hour for our food. Then my family got there food but me. Talked to the manger to which was no help. Had to take my food to go cold. Server, Jose, was great! But there are one too many employees here. I would get rid of the girl who's supposed to be the receptionist. She didn't attend to the entrance while we were waiting for a greeter and only showed up once we started seating ourselves. She also doesn't take the payment. You do that with your server. I am sitting here waiting over 45 minutes to be seated for breakfast. This IHOP in this casino is ridiculous. So many folks are walking away because of the wait They have one section closed and can only serve a few folks at a time. I'm very disappointed in IHOP. This is the worst I've ever experienced I thought your brand was stronger than this. In disbelief that you are allowing folks to walk away. I guess you don't want their money. I was Sitting here for 1 1/2 a table for two they put ur name on list and go by the list !! They dont go by table availability that is bad service!! Then they finally called us and another couple that had just got here were seated immediately. They argued with me n stated that they had been on the list. I was sitting there watching everyone come in n go . I know what I saw please quit making excuses for poor management of this Ihop establishment! We then placed our order and they got that wrong soo we had to wait an additional 20 mins for our food to be made correctly. Never checked on us too see what else we needed I never got my water which that should immediately when seated down or with our drinks .They definitely need to get their crappy service together.
