The service was horrible. Brought drink out with curdled milk in it. Refuse for free refills on ice coffee which is free refills everywhere. The server didnt check on us it took the bus boy to fix the problem. Had to ask for refills on drink and not right with anything asked. Will not give them another chance. read more

everyone here should die. there are only 4-5 tables and it's taking atleast a hour just to get our appetizers on top another long wait for our food. when food came it was a solid 1.5 outta 10 and that's me being nice. end of story don't come here hungry matter of fact don't come here at all read more

The pancakes are so bland even the syrup was underwhelming and that was surprising. Glad they have gluten free, vegan sausage, and turkey bacon however. The cupcake kids pancake was great it seems like if you want a decadent breakfast that's the way to go. That icing is top tier. read more

This particular IHOP is so inattentive! We where seated after a waiting time and we asked for our drinks the drinks came, we than asked for our meals but the waitress didn't know what I was talking about I have to explain what was literally on the dish!!! Finally our meals came and we asked for refills on our drinks it took two attempts and 10 to 15 minutes for one refill we could see the waiters and hosts just talking, the young lady that refilled was probably just coming into her shift read more

This location isn't a bad place - i believe due the rating the location is trying really hard to please their customers now. I believe it's at 3 star rating due to lack of service skills I guess and rudeness. When i was there - I notice the manager walking around making sure everyone was fine and seeing how their guest were doing. As well when i walked in i was greeted several times which of course i don't mind at all - especially when it comes with a smile. The waitress was very pleasant and we were seated quickly; i guess i'm so use to other location being extremely crowded all the day. Please note - arrived at 11am on weekday read more

i love this place so much i usually come here on the weekdays it's always little busy and the approximate time is about 10 to 15 minutes which is not a big deal to wait(usually you wait more than that in a restaurant). on Wednesday they make an offer of any omelette with all you can eat pancakes unlimited(i'm not sure if it's every Wednesday or was it just the last Wednesday) ask for that offer because it's a good one. at ihop it is hard to beat pancakes with variety of flavors. these pancakes and omelette were soo goood the waitress was very friendly cheerful and very helpful. the other staff were good and welcoming too. you will always be provided with a great service. eventhough the server was busy in assisting other customers; she was checking on the table every other minute to make sure everything is ok fully recommended you gotta give it a try read more

I have given this location so many attempts to get it right but as far as carry out orders are concerned, I'm sorry but they suck. For example, I ordered a carry out of Swedish crepes and bacon. The order arrived with no lingonberries and the bacon was burnt! The second time I ordered, the order was completely wrong. And my last order a couple days ago just tasted nasty. The food was cross contaminated with something else and it was not thoroughly cooked. When I called to talk to a manager the phone literally rang for over five minutes. The manager assured me he would make sure the order was right, once again, it was not. Just horrible! Take the time to drive ten more minutes to the IHOP on Middlebelt. They seem to have their ducks in a row. read more

I mean it's no Hudson Cafe but then again when you go to a franchise you sort of expect the food to taste a certain way. I was really worried about going to this location having read the reviews but it turned out being ok. The food was bland as it always is at Diners. Had to make the salt rain on my omelette to enjoy it. The little ones enjoyed their pancakes. Our waiter, Mahdi, was very polite and kept coming back to make sure everything was still ok despite his obvious burnout. Food came quick. We were in and out in 45minutes. For a chill kinda day where you want to eat the basics. This place is not as bad as the reviews put it out to be even considering that on this particular day you can smell the bleach coming from the kitchen. read more

Staff is rude and disgusting I was making an over the phone order and she was rushing me and trying to predict my order for me. She needs to be fired. Disgustingly rude! Whoever is the person who answers the phone needs to work somewhere she e joys to work not just to go for the damn paycheck. Disappointed disgusted with rudeness will never go again. read more

Our server Layla was great and very kind, however whoever the manager is is AWFUL. She is extremely rude to her employees, even on a night with only one server. She was also really aggressive towards us when we were leaving read more

almost died because of food poisoning. please don't eat here. the server also forgot about us and couldn't get seated.

Drove from Allen park because the wife got excited and hadn't been to an IHOP in a long time. Had about a 5-10 minute wait before a server even showed up to offer drinks... our drink order was then wrong and had to be fixed. Got our food order in. 20 minutes later food comes out, ordered the biscuits and gravy combo and an order of tomato soup, wife ordered the split breakfast combo with no butter on the pancakes or French toast and a side of biscuits and gravy..... Butter is on both when they arrive, eggs, sausage, and soup are cold, and we didn't get the biscuits and gravy for either order... so we mentioned it to the waitress and she took it to correct it, however, all they did was changed out the pancakes and French toast. The eggs and bacon were the same from prior, still cold, bacon was rubbery.. the waitress let us know when drinks were brought that we could have unlimited refills, and then proceeded to walk past our empty cups at the edge of the table multiple times and only refilled mine when I asked if I had to get a refill myself towards the end of our meal. And, all of this was done nonchalantly like whatever sure I'll fix that for you. definitely will not be returning to this one. read more

We love the gluten-free pancakes at IHOP. Twice, I've called for a take out order and was told they were out of the batter for them. I know supplies are at a shortage, but the fact that IHOP serves gluten-free pancakes made them a favorite. Very disappointed. read more

There is no organization at this restaurant! I came in as ONE PERSON to have breakfast and was told 10 minutes. I waited patiently as I watched 2 groups who came after me, seated. When I asked how that was he said because they were here before me. He then again took another group and when I asked about it he couldn't even find my name on the list because he had crossed it off!!!!!! So unprofessional! No apology, nothing. Then I'm seated and have to wait EVEN MORE TIME!!!! Don't waste your time with this place! It's the worst. read more

After waiting 40 minutes they told me they were out of egg whites for my omelette... do you have real eggs?, I asked... after the manager realized they could separate eggs to get the whites, they brought my food out, clearly thrown on the plate, without all the ingredients . IHOP - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Dearborn Heights, Michigan

Went here with some coworkers after a night shift, approx 430am. There's a HUGE banner that says "open 24 hours" hanging over the entrance. This is also displayed on multiple apps and websites. We pull up and walk up to the door. The door has a small handwritten sign that says "closed" even though the doors open. Once inside the staff..who were sitting in a corner booth doing nothing..tell us they are closed yet only open to door dash. staff is here, cooks are here, door is open, huge open 24 hour banner over the building yet you're CLOSED??? Interesting. We took our business up the street to Rams horn! They were happy to serve us! read more

Took my mom out for brunch to this IHOP. I ordered the steak omelette and she ordered a pumpkin pancake breakfast with extra crispy bacon. After getting the bacon order finally corrected, the meal was fine, the waitress never came back to refill any of our drinks. So we ordered another pancake breakfast to go at approximately 10:50 a.m. at 11:20 a.m. we ask to speak to the manager, after waiting for the manager of additional 15 minutes the manager came out confused and we finally got our order. The manager never gave us a reason why I order took so long to be prepared. But she did offer to ask us anything that you can do but we were so upset we just left. So the service at this particular IHOP is not very good. read more

When this restaurant initally opened up I thought ohhhhhh I want to try this restaurant. Let me tell you when I finally did go I was so very disappointed. It was filthy inside and had to wait to get a seat for quite a long while. The food was meh - nothing to write home about. Most of the customers in this restaurant looked like they had about 50+ pounds to lose, you should see the portions. It sort of reminds me of that restaurant at the Birch Run exit that gives you a whole pound of bacon when you order a side!!! IHOP - concentrate on quality, not quantity! I can do a better breakfast any time way lot better than this IHOP! Don't bother yourself instead go down the street to the Ram's Horn just before Inkster on Ford Road - they have good food there = breakfast, lunch or dinner! read more

If you have a Saturday/Sunday craving for pancakes or an omelette, this is where you need to go. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait on the weekends, but don't let that deter you, the food is amazing. That being said, sometimes the staff is a bit disorganized and the ambiance could use some improvement. My server on this last occasion was super helpful, and even took the liberty of recommending a few items on the menu. I will definitely be back, those buttery pancakes are just too good to resist! read more

Not even the delicious blueberry pancakes could save this experience. We headed here late on a weekend night for some pancakes. Being one of only two tables in the building, I figured we'd be in and out quickly. Such was not the case. I don't know what took so long, but we waited forever for a couple pancake meals. The sides were incredibly underwhelming. The eggs and meat were sub-par, and the hashbrowns arrived about ten minutes after the rest of the food. The pancakes, though... the pancakes were great. Unfortunately they couldn't make up for the rest. And absolutely not worth the heavy pricetag. I have a hard time paying dinner prices for simple-breakfast food. read more

I was bummed when I went there today. It wasn't overly busy, but it took 15 minutes for a waitress to come by and ask if we wanted coffee. Then another 10 until she brought 1 cup which we asked for 2. When she proceeded to take our order, she was more concerned with talking to another staff member than us. Must have been why our toast never came with our breakfast. The pancakes were over done and the eggs were not how we ordered them. I used to enjoy going there on occasion, unfortunately, that is probably my last time. Sad really!! read more

Took a little to long to get seated. We had three different people ask us if we were waiting to be seated and then disappear presumably to find us someplace to sit in the nearly empty restaurant. Once sat it took a few minutes for the waitress to appear. Thankfully she took our food order right away. I ordered chicken and waffles and well done hashbrowns. The food didn't take too long, about 20 minutes. But my hashbrowns were cold and not any where near well done. The chicken and waffles were okay but don't go in and expect hand breaded chicken. It's basic frozen out of a bag food service crap. Server was inattentive and didn't check on us after the food was delivered. We had to wave a hostess down to get ketchup and drink refills. We won't be coming back. read more

The service here is horrible. I don't know why they can't get it together. They seem to have enough people but they are so unorganized. Had to question where was the coffee. Finally brought it but had so spoon to stir it. Just crazy. Then the food. The meals All came at different times. . The side salad was just lettuce. No tomato. No onion. Nothing but bitter greens. I will say they coked my eggs right. But they really need to get a new manager. Send them down the street to Leon's and let them see how a restaurant should be run. read more

I went here once when it first opened, and it was pretty bad with long waits and mediocre food. I thought I'd never be back, but my kid requested it, so we tried again. Party of three. There was no one to greet us at the front, at about 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon. After a minute, a waitress saw us and seated us. The hostess finally appeared and said, "Somebody got 'em?" and kept walking. Two of our party got coffee. I normally like how there is a carafe right at your table, so you can serve yourself. But there wasn't enough for 3 full cups of coffee in the carafe. The place was only about 1/4 full. The wait was about average for food. But it arrived in 3 shifts. First, two main courses arrived. Then, a few minutes later, some pancakes and sides arrived. Finally, a few minutes later, the 3rd main plate arrived. I noticed the other tables near us were served in the same manner. Waitress forgot utensils. Waitress forgot drinks. Food was ok. Nothing special. Any mom-and-pop diner I've been to has been better and cheaper. One last thing was strange. The place was dead silent the entire meal. Then all of a sudden, somebody turned on the loud overhead music. Our party's review: Me: 4/10 Kid: 4/10 K: 2.75/10 I don't see any reason to go back. read more

Don't drink anything with ice!!! There is mold in their ice maker which was very obvious as the two waters (both brought at different times) had black specks in it... one was much larger than a speck and grossly sunk to the bottom of the glass. So we drank just coffee and enjoyed our waffles which were good and our service was great... however we won't be back, & sending our water back wasn't going to solve the clear mold problem they have in their ice maker. Beware the ice! read more

Don't go after midnight I always come to this restaurant in the morning and I was always a satisfied customer. I went at night and there was a total of 4 tables busy. I stood by the register for a good 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. My omelette came late, burnt and with the wrong cheese on top. I tried to explain that to the waitress but she acted like she didn't know what I meant. I ate the omelette just to be nice and stopped complaining. But by that time every table around me was complaining. The staff was ignoring customers and they were all in the back laughing so hard that we could hear them over the music. My iced tea was low on ice. My hash browns came in after I was done with the omelette I complained again to the waitress and she said they only had one cook. Food is overpriced, but tasty. This place is always busy, and seemingly understaffed as the last several times that I have been in, I get seated and wait an inordinate amount of time before a waitress or waiter stops by to see what I'd like to drink.
