We have been here for almost an hour and a half and received two egg and hashbrowns sides out of 4 and one pancake plate. We just received one more pancake plate and another side. Still waiting on a lot of food. No one came to tell us they were short staffed until we complained and our waiter hardly ever came to check on us or update us. Very disappointing. read more

Had the best experience today (6/22/20). I had not been here since b4 the lockdown. I came in for brunch and had skipped breakfast to do a long ride on my bike. I was starving. I was very impressed at the operation. Everyone was committed to protecting us and they all had the right attitude. The service was quick, the food was great and I was in and out lickedy split. I spoke to the hostess and the door person. The young lady greeter was so sweet. Imagine ordering breakfast for your kids on door dash because you've got a broken leg and just couldn't quite get it together today only to have an order of Tres Leches pancakes missing from your order. You then call the restaurant to make them aware they offer for you to come pick it up after explaining you're not mobile at the time they offer to deliver it to you then after 4 hours of not hearing anything my 14yo decides to walk the 2 miles to the restaurant to get his pancakes cause keep in mind he hasn't eaten yet and it's now lunch time. There's nothing like good food and this was NOTHING like good food. As bad as the food was, the service was worse. I had three pancakes the size of slices of bologna and water. Had to ask for syrup. I had two kids with me and paid $30 for breakfast. The server disappeared and seemed to forget she had customers. Drink refills were, I guess, unexpected. We have been here several different times at the request of various family members, and have yet to have a good experience. The hostess and servers have been lackadaisical at best, with the hostess downright rude on occasion. The food was mediocre even for this sort of chain - warm on less than half our visits, and never hot. The atmosphere is somewhat depressing - we've all shared the distinct impression that none of the staff wants to be there. Hopefully, everyone we know has tried it, been disappointed, and now we won't have to go back. We had hoped for better, as some of us had fun memories of IHOPs in other places. read more

This place I think is the training ground, the waiters and waitresses walk around, like they have no clue. By the time they come to your table to get your drink order, just order drink and your meal. The two of us that had eggs that were ice cold (nothing worse than cold slimy eggs). On the hash brown after they took them from the freezer they forgot to heat them. This I Hop is fairly new and very clean and inviting. We have breakfast here about once a month and have always had a pleasant experience -until today. After the friendly greeter seated us and walked away, our waitress approached our table to take our order, coughing loudly. She returned with our drinks, still coughing. Soon she was taking the order of the family seating behind us, still coughing. Across the restaurant, we heard her coughing, while bringing our breakfast. Meanwhile, the manager moved through the restaurant numerous times. Not surprising, our food was not very appetizing, and we wondered if we, ourselves, would come down with a cold in two or three days after eating at I Hop. As we left, I felt compelled to speak to the manager about our ailing server. He said he was unaware that his employee might be sick; hadn't heard her coughing. He said I Hop does have sick leave for its employees. He seemed annoyed that we brought this matter to his attention. My husband and three kids made our first and last trip to this location over the weekend. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised how clean and nice the restaurant was. We were seated promptly by a girl who never spoke a word to us. She stood by the booth and as we sat she tossed some menus on the table. Our server (Linda G) came and took our drink orders. I ordered the coffee. I have been to many IHOP locations and have always enjoyed the coffee. When the server brought my coffee it tasted like burnt plastic. When she returned to take our food order I brought this to her attention. She seemed annoyed and said, "Our coffee is premium roast. Some people just aren't used to coffee that rich. I'll ask the manager to take it off your check." Well, excuse me! I guess in the past 25 years of drinking coffee I just haven't encountered coffee as rich as this IHOP's location's particular brew. Anyway, we ordered and received our food...but had no flatware. They had left the whip cream off my daughter's pancakes so the server said, "I'll bring you some whip cream." We waited several minutes for the whip cream during which we could not eat because we still had no flatware. By the time she came back, our food was cold. We never received drink refills. By the time she realized we were done eating and waiting on our check, it was too late. She did offer at that time to refill our drinks. No...we were more than ready to leave. She brought the check (on which they did NOT remove the coffee) and said she would take that up for us when we were ready. $55.49 for breakfast...and we waited another 20 minutes on her to return. I finally said enough and took the bill up to the cashier myself. No one ever asked us how our food was, how our service was...nothing. I will NOT be going back to this location. If they need the $2.00 for coffee bad enough to charge someone for it that took two sips out of it, then they should treat their customers better. read more
